Zeno's Boardwalk Sweet Shop is a place that I have come to time and time again when I am in St augustine, on St George Street and I continuously forget to write reviews for it until today! Walking in the staff was very friendly and told my party that we could each try a couple of different pieces of Laffy Taffy figure out what we like the most! I decided to try the eggnog flavor and it was very nice! After trying a sample I decided to get a handful of different flavors and nibbled them while I walked on St George street. The Candy Corn Taffy was decent, but it did not have that much flavor in my opinion. The consistency of it was very tasty however so I was glad to try it. I also got one that was pickle flavored and this one was absolutely flavorless so I was a little upset about that. Another one that I got was beer flavored and you could taste it with just the right amount of flavoring. The prices are very decent and charging by the weight, you can get a nice amount in your bag without breaking the bank. The place was very nicely lit and super clean and I loved how one of the walls, in its entirety, was filled with easily over 50 different flavors of saltwater taffy! This shop is located on St George's Street in St Augustine Florida. There is a old fashioned metal taffy pulling machine in the window. When you go inside the shop is all colorful and bright, very cheerful The staff is so friendly! The staff said I could sample every flavor of taffy they had, no charge...FREE SAMPLES!!! I sampled a few of my favorites and purchased about 20 pieces. They had well over 100 flavors to choose from. But, I just didn't have it in me to try Dill Pickle Taffy!!! I was just enjoying the stroll down St. George's Street in the historic district of St. Augustine when I happened across Zeno's. What a fun candy shop! My favorite thing to do was just watch the taffy pulling machine. As I said in the caption of my video - it's so mesmerizing and calming to watch! A trip here involves all of your senses - watching the taffy being pulled and listening when you open the wrapper of a piece, the smell of the flavor you choose, the taste and texture of the candy. Wow! So many different flavor taffy! Jennifer was amazing!! Giving us her suggestions honey, German chocolate cake, pineapple upside down cake. So many to choose from. We only purchase a quarter pound. They also have names like sex on the beach, sangria and mojito just to name a few after a adult drink there's also just simple flavors banana, watermelon, key lime, I can maybe keep hoing and I can't forget the Bustya Bears which I think it's Gummy Bears. I've been searching for some delicious fudge ever since I stopped at a mom and pop store in Nashville, and no where had come close. After having a less than stellar experience at a Winter Park location we were in St. Augustine for the annual light show and thankfully stumbled upon Zeno's. As soon as you walk in your told you can pick a piece of free taffy. The amount of flavors they have are astounding. We were also told if we buy a pound for $14 we can get half a pound free. She spilt it into three flavors. Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Mint and Chocolate Peanut Butter. This ladies and gentlemen is what fudge should taste like. When you bite into it, it melts in your mouth. Than an overwhelming flavor of the fudge you picked enters your pallet and your life has been ever changed. We also got a sea salt piece of chocolate and a white chocolate truffle which were both just as addicting. We live an hour and a half from this location, but there is another one in Daytona. Yay! Totally 5 stars! I asked my husband if he's ever tried Salt Water Taffy and to my surprise, he hasn't. Despite it not being vegan, I wanted to go in so he could get a taste. The girl behind the counter was so friendly. She said to everyone in the store that we were entitled to one free piece of taffy for Mother's Day. There are soo many flavors you can't just choose one! The whole time she was talking to everyone about what her favorites were along with other random facts; she was definitely saleswoman of the year. We walked out with almost $30 worth of candy! I came by here because I saw weird soda through their window. I picked up a random 4 pack. It was $12. I got a horchata, rootbeer, bug barf, and blue berry pie soda. They were all fresh tasting? What I mean is some places that sell obscure sodas have old flat soda. But all the soda here was nice and carbonated. The employee working was also very nice. read more

I highly recommend a visit to this little candy shop on St. George! The taffy selection was HUGE - we tried mint, buttered popcorn, cookie dough, etc. You should definitely check out the soda fridge in the back of the store - we got a good laugh out of bacon soda.
