I live in a condo community, and eight years ago the board chose them as our high speed internet and communications company. Have only had a full outage a couple of times, mostly due to crappy weather, and it's always back up and running within a few hours. Their customer service people are the best. They answer the phone in a few seconds and can often fix the problem without coming out. Keep their appointments in a timely manner. I was having trouble with my wifi speed in a new building. I called customer service and they were super fast, friendly, and helpful. They let me know there was a problem internally and sent a tech out within 48 hours. Matt was my tech and he was super awesome. He told me my router wasn't great, but he optimized the channels and got it working much better. He also assisted me with an issue with one of my smart tvs that ended up being completely separate from the wifi problem. Half way through we realized it was a separate issue, but he didn't leave me hanging. Super friendly and helpful. read more

When we started our 1GB Internet plan, the representative specifically recommended that we purchase a certain type of router (ASUS AC 1900) and installed everything for us. This week, we lost the internet due to router upgrade, were instructed by Zentro to hard reset the router, and discovered that we are only getting 200Mbps out of our plan. Moreover, we discovered that it's impossible to get 1GB/speed on our router, even though this router was specifically recommended by the Internet company! We called the representative about this today and he confirmed that it's the routers' problem. We feel that we spent $$ on router for nothing, since we should have bought something that handles our plan and we actually trusted the technician to not give misleading instructions... :( read more

The customer service is worst. I called for support at 3 pm and waited for four hours at around 7 pm and nobody called me back. AT 7 pm I called again and waited until 8:15 pm and nobody called. So I called again and finally get through and now the guy giving instruction is so complicated. So I ended up cancelling the service which I have not even started. First impression is important. If I have a customer support that is worst from the beginning, I just cant imagine what kind of customer support I will have once my service started. I don't recommend this company for now. This is seems like a small company with limited resources. read more

Best ISP I've ever dealt with! They respond to emails within minutes and when you call, a human picks up the phone! Imagine that! No more waiting in line hearing "Your call is very important for us, that's why here at Xfinity we make you wait 45 minutes before we pick up. Are you interested in a new TV package while you wait?"... I just signed up and chose the SilverIP Gigabit plan. I'm getting symmetric speeds (1GB down and 1GB up, unlike the garbage Xfinity gives you which I think is 920MB down and 20MB up on their most expensive plan. Are you kidding me?) SilverIP doesn't have data caps like Xfinity does. They don't try to upsell you extra services like Xfinity does or force you to use their equipment. SilverIP did offer to sell me a router in case I needed one, but they did so in a very non-pushy way that felt more like a convenience to me than anything else. I said I already had one and I only needed an Ethernet connection and they said that was totally fine. We set up an appointment for Sunday at 11am and the technician showed up at 10:50am. I needed a static public IP for work and they gave me one at no extra charge. I had to call them for this but they answered immediately; they asked for my MAC address and it took them 24 hours to configure on their end, which wasn't too bad because I called on a Sunday and Monday was a holiday! After they set it up, you will still get a DHCP-assigned private IP behind NAT when you connect your computer straight to the Ethernet cable, which I think is a little weird. But when you hit your public static IP from the public internet, traffic will be NATed and forwarded to your internal IP, so you are able to reach your internal services from the outside. The support person on the phone told me they don't block any ports and that seems to be true: I tested sending both TCP and UDP traffic from the public internet on many ports including 22, 80 and 443 and it all went through. Overall I'm extremely happy with their service. And I'm paying $55/mo which I think is a very fair price. Keep it up SilverIP! read more

We got the 500 download/500 upload but we're only seeing uploads of a little over 300 mbps. He made sure to provide all of the information to the staff of our issue so that they are aware. We had Larney as our technician and he was absolutely great! He was very knowledgeable and did a thorough job with replacing the ethernet port. We have one of those 'historic older buildings' so the ethernet outlet is oddly placed in each unit. So initially it had been placed inside a closet with no electrical outlet (so odd). However, Larney had the patience to look around the living room to find a more suitable place to transfer the ethernet port to. He also has a great personality -- great funny guy! As for communication, I spoke with Blake and he was prompt and great at following up! They were faster at responding & more informative than our property manager haha. When I messaged our property manager regarding moving the port to another place and sent her a picture of another available ethernet port she claimed it was incorrectly stated that what I sent was a coaxial cable port (which it wasn't) and that they couldn't move it. I was kinda bummed when I heard that but it worked out in the end so I'm ecstatic that they were able to fix the problem. I appreciate all the help that Larney and Blake had provided. Wow, these guys are great. Super FAST reliable internet (they offer 2gbps in my building! Wut!!!) I got to my new apartment after a long flight and called EW at 8pm to get my service turned on. My tech, Nick Peck, spent a lot of time with me on a Saturday night getting my service to remote activate and he succeeded! He was absolutely great, I was floored by the approachability, honesty and knowledge of the service and its configuration. Super happy with the service and super happy with support. So happy with Zentro, their support system through the phone is great. I am rarely on hold and it is very quick to find a representative. On top of that, I need on-site support which was scheduled quickly over the phone for the NEXT DAY. On-site I had Larney help out, he was was everything I would ever want in support. Knowledgable, fast, and friendly. My problem got ironed out very quickly with very little work on my end. He even taught me some things about my wifi which is great! Best customer service ever. These guys give me hope. When I have tech issues, they are quick to respond and spend the time needed to investigate and resolve. We had someone in our building who caused our shared building IP address to be blacklisted, causing huge issues. They fixed it in a couple hours. My internet was going very slow, lagging on video calls and not loading social media or internet content on my phone or iPad. When I called Customer Service the representative who helped me was very dedicated to resolving my issue. He not only took the time to call me back on my schedule, but was patient on the phone when resolving my issue. Eventually, he got my internet to work at great speeds. I haven't had any problems since. I work from home and I have no issues with my hard connected computer and the speeds on my phone and iPad are 100x better. The internet speeds and the customer associate's patience, dedication and overall likeability leave me overall satisfied with Everywhere Wireless. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they don't have a dedicated online platform where I can view my services/account details. Another downside is the price is higher than other internet companies (my sister who lives in Evanston pays less than I do for more Mbps). Right now I pay $49 for 500Mbps/month. But, I have 5G and I live in the city so that may explain the price difference. read more

I installed a new router and couldn't negotiate a 1Gbps connection. Turns out the wiring in my building was a mess. I filled out a service request on their web site late in the evening. They called me back the next morning and were able to fit me in for a service call the same day. Larney (the super tech) showed up, rewired the jacks, and had me up and running minutes. Our building has had EW for several years paid through our HOA. Value for price is very high, and the service is terrific!!! read more

I just moved to Chicago from Seattle a day ago and had chosen everywhere wireless as my internet provider and I am very happy with my choice! My original appointment was set for the 24th of this month but as soon an an earlier opening was available I received a call that they could send out a technician a day early. Larney was the Technician that helped me set up my internet in my apartment and wow he was amazing! Larney communicated very well and made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed and answered. I moved from EnV at 161 Kinzie to Hub221, and I didn't think much of the fact that I would be switching from Comcast to Everywhere Wireless Internet. I walked into my new place and plugged in my router to the wall and.... I haven't lost internet since. Even downtown in an nice high rise my Comcast would go out literally 5 days a week from 8:45AM-10AM. I just got used to switching to my cell data and using the hotspot. Once I thought my internet wasn't working and I called their customer service and a person picked up the phone? Weird. Then he proceeded to help me set up my router, Roku, laptop, iPad, phone, PS4, Phillips Hue hub, Harmony media hub, 1 smart TV, and my 2 Alexa Dots, and my WiFi outlets to make sure my entire smart home was set up. They told me that they would have sent a person to set up all my devices for me while I sat on the couch if I wanted unbelievable read more

When first installed it really worked great. Now every evening the upload and downloads speeds cut down to half. Below 500 Mbps. It happens every day after 8pm to about 2 or 3am then it goes back up by early morning. It is like they are throttling the speeds at the time not most people are on them. The FCC says it is against the law to throttle speeds. They say they are working on the problem. Others in here I talked to they see the same thing happening. They assure me it is fixed in a month, but I am paying for the speed they soured I would be getting 24 x 24. I even called my private repair service, and they remotely took over my computer and said it is from the inter provider side not on my side.. I am 75 and been around computers for years and hope they fix what they say., I live in a 450 unit condo they are the ones that voted this company in. I would have used another, but the board of condo makes the law and rules.. read more
