I decided to stop by here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon because of their amazing patio. They have one of the best outdoor spaces on Johns Island. This time I just ordered a few cocktails, which were refreshing and a great deal! I've had their food many times. Their pizza is pretty decent. If you are looking for a crisp crust with lots of toppings (each one is $1.49), and flavorful pizza, then don't go to Zeppelin Pizza on Johns Island. The crust is chewy and overbaked, the onion and artichoke toppings were few, just a couple of strands of onion and artichoke on each piece. The roasted garlic topping was non-existent. The Italian salad was mostly greens with a few half-cherry tomatoes, a bit of mozzarella cheese, thick cucumbers with skins and italian dressing that tasted like it was from a cheap store brand. The only reason that I am giving 2 stars is that the wings were good. We ordered to-go and still had to wait 10 minutes or more for the food at pick up. read more

Hurray! It's open at last! We've needed a great dine-in pizza restaurant on Johns Island for a long time. I appreciate this business for opening during the Covid-19 pandemic. They offer a quick and efficient order service complete with a walk up window, online or phone ordering. They offer both round and square pizza - we went for the round build your own with pepperoni, mushroom and tomato. Delicious crisp crust and generous fresh toppings! We also got the meatball side dish - so tasty! Four big, juicy meatballs with delicious marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese on warm spinach - garlic bread on the side. The meatballs could almost be a meal by themselves with the generous portion! When they are able to host customers inside, there is a charming outdoor patio and a nicely decorated interior seating area. They offer wine and beer to go now and have a good draft beer list. Very friendly, helpful customer service too! Soon they will also offer home delivery. read more

My quest for good pizza on the island continues here... Zeppelin is pretty good! First off it's a good vibe, would definitely watch a game here, hang with friends, bingo, trivia etc. They have good specials throughout the week so that's cool. Def feels like a good regular spot to have. The food is really solid! It's not NY level pizza (but I haven't found that here yet...) but it's really good. My favorite place for beers and pizza!! It's nearly an all outside seating venue. But fully covered and plenty of fans. The menu selection is good and the wait staff has been on top of it. For me the selling point is the taste consistency and relaxed nature of visiting. Would for sure recommend others going there. Only drawback (have to flag something) is the limited parking in the parking lot. But not a show stopper. read more
