The people at this place are really nice, it was quick and efficient to schedule a sofa cleaning and the technician was on time/super professional. The price of $162.50 (inc tax) seemed a little high but I have pets so I prefer to use something pet friendly. However, the appointment lasted 15 mins and my couch (even though not yet dry) still has marks. The technician said it was wear and tear but the stains are darker/dirt from kids playing on the sofa. It might be that they are embedded but the technician didn't try anything other than running the brush over again. I've used other upholstery cleaners in the past (in another state) and had much better results (albeit with chemicals). On the plus side, my sofa smells great but it seems an expensive way to get that result. read more

Not happy at all! Ray from Zerorez came today to do tile, grout and carpet. Neither are clean like the Zerorez promise at all. Carpets still show high traffic areas and the grout looks a tiny better in some areas but really can't tell I just spent $509. Paid $800 for carpet and tile cleaning and the tech did next to nothing. Dog hair and stains still in the carpet and the tile looks the same as before. Asked to be reimbursed and was told they couldn't help me. Asked for a supervisor to come out and look at the floors and they couldn't get anyone out for over a week. Finally got them to refund a small portion of the fee but not enough to make it okay for bad quality cleaning and poor customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The CS was good, but after the rugs dried (almost 10 hrs later!) there were some stains (just dirt) that were still there. When I scheduled the appointment the CS rep didn't tell me that the rugs would take that long to dry. I know I should have asked, but that should be part of the pitch/explanation. If I didn't ask the guy who cleaned it, no one would have said a word. He told me 4-6 hrs, which like I said, it took 10+ hrs!!! Unfortunately, I will not be using this service again. read more

I used Zerorez carpet cleaning service two days ago. I did not feel that they did a great job in the master bedroom. I asked them to come back and do it one more time and I was even willing to pay for them just to do the master bedroom again. When they gave me the price it was more than I paid with their previous service. They told me there was nothing they could do on the price, I tried to explain to them, I just used their service two days ago and they told me that their prices change every single week and we are in a new week. I tried to explain one more time that I was unhappy with the previous service and I would like them to come clean just the one room and I would even be willing to pay the same price for the room and they still wanted to charge me more money. They are salespeople. Their technicians are trained to up sell you. I was talked into services that did not result in a better outcome. Believe it or not my carpet had a residue and when asked to fix it I was told the same technician would rinse my carpet once more. He came back-a different personality-hostile even saying I would get the same results and I should have known my polyester carpet would have this outcome. Same with my tile floor. Grout never looked cleaner as a result of their service. Again the technician said I would get the same results. A $237 job ended up being $636. How did that happen?? And trust me, tile is the same and carpet is worse then before the service was done. And the technician-2 personalities! It was a mistake telling him I was unwell the day of service. I gave into his high pressure hard sell. He returned obviously angry and I asked him to leave because I felt intimidated by him. Decades of experience with service companies taught me that what you get & what they charge is like playing in a casino. I also believe that websites GET PAID to MANIPULATE what we see. I used zerorez for years as a real estate agent and used to refer them constantly as well as my own personal residences. About five years ago I discontinued referring because of their shady practices with pricing. One website offers a lower price, a mailer offers another, the valpak ad a different price, if you mention a certain radio DJ's name you get another and then their most expensive pricing by just calling in. There is zero transparency in their pricing. Because of this clients thought their service would be shady but I always told them play their game and use the service as it's chemical free just run through the different pricing modalities. But because of my allergies I've dealt with it and prefer their cleaning system. I just always advised friends and clients to make sure if price is an issue for you to run their gamut of asking for each of the above since they won't offer their best price without the gimmick. My most recent properties the PM dictated what carpet cleaning could be used so I hadn't been a customer for a few years. I called an booked for my own property a few months ago. The technician was decent. Carpets looked good even though they still had a strong dog smell to which he told me would dissipate after a few days. But at the end of the service he told me he broke a closet door because it wasn't on the track correctly. I asked him why he didn't ask me for help and his reply was "I just shoved it open". In the process of him shoving it open. He bent the older 1990 metal door hang closet track. The tech said he couldn't get the door back on. He was aggressive with me and blamed me for it not working and said it was already broken to which I told him this is a vacant home and walk through was just done the door worked but it's a speciality 3 panel door and you can't shove one side. He continued to state is was already broken then admitted again he shoved it and it fell off. I called zerorez immediately while the tech hurried me to sign his invoice and pay the bill. There wasn't a manager available and I was told I would have to wait until Monday. Since I had such a long term relationship with the company I decided it was ok to wait and just pay in full. I still tipped the tech but not as much as I would have he had not broken the closet door. My mistake was paying the bill. Management didn't call me for a week. I had to chase them down. I had to hire a repair man to fix it and zerorez refused to pay what the labor was to fix even though I sent them pictures and invoice for repair. I'll admit after dealing with this for 3 weeks I got snippy with the manager who handled this and told her I would write a negative review and wouldn't be referring any more business after all these years of my being a loyal customer. I never wrote the review and just figured i would I let it pass and deal with it as I enjoyed the chemical free process. Zerorez gave me one half of the costs to repair the door. Today I called to get a quote for area rug cleaning and was told a supervisor would have to call me back. When she did she told me that the company had decided to end the relationship with me. I thanked her and decided to write the review and let potential customers know of their practices. I would not recommend zerorez based on their lack of transparency in pricing, failure to do repairs caused by their technicians and poor customer service. read more

As far as the "service" was concerned the technician and office staff were all nice enough so this isn't really a gripe on them. We just moved into a new house and the previous owner had pets, the technician suggested that we get the deep cleaning brush scrub as well as the pet treatment on top of the traditional cleaning, after seeing all the spots on the carpet with the blacklight we decided to go ahead and do it all. $400 later we vacuum the carpets again with our basic vacuum and still pull a ton of hair and who knows what out of the carpets. He convinced us to pay double what we originally had planned on to get the deep clean agitator and pet treatment and I feel like it wasn't even done after seeing what still came out of the carpets. A local radio station quoted a price that was not the price the technician was not prepared to honor. I made them call the office. The then said this (a patch) not cleaned satisfactory then another patch that gleamed but that was way more expensive. I called the office and made them honor the deal. I was worried by some of the negative reviews but my guess is that more than a few people got taken advantage of by the company Zero Residue and didn't use actual ZeroRez. I had one guy come out cleaned my carpets then suggested he'd clean my tile for me for an additional $500. I said no, he then negotiated the price down by $350. The rest of the time he whined that he's losing out on another cleaning job to service my home. That being said their work is good. Zerorez, brought back my area rugs costing over $800 to clean. They were very clean BUT all my area rugs have Fringe attached . THEY DID NOT COMB OUT THE FRINGE which is part of the job! Now the fringe is all matted and ruined so I have to fold it under the rug , it's knotted, matted and just looks terrible! I haven't talked to them as yet because I want to get my temper under control! I was in this business for over 25 yrs before my husband died! I do have a rug rake but even combing it out you cannot get thru all the knots and the fringe is stiff and knotted badly! Chris and Justin were very informative and explained about the difference in their product and others. I went ahead and paid the $35 extra per room for pet stains, i have a puppy and potty training was difficult. Chris showed me just how difficult he was with his special light that makes the pee stains glow. Oh how embarrassing! Chris then explained how to properly clean pet stains with vinegar and water and throw out the chemical stain treatments you buy in the store. Did you know that those stain treatments you buy in the store will ruin your warranty for new carpet? Like I said, he was very informative and I was impressed. So today has been a week since they came out and I must say my carpets are still beautiful. They are still fluffier than what they were before cleaning. Still soft on my feet, feels like new and I am not exaggerating. I will definitely use this company again in a year when I sell my house. And I will definitely ask for Chris again. Thank you Chris! I did not see any negative comments.. here I go.. we were moving out and I wanted the carpets to be cleaned by a "Good Company" or so I thought. My Son in-law warned me about Zerorez, he had used them ten years ago and stated.."they left the carpets wet and dirty. Carpets looked the same." I told him... that was ten years ago, people change and business improve. WELL I WAS WRONG!!!! Boy was I wrong. Dex, did exactly what my son-in-law said. He spent only 2 hours in a 3 bedroom, stairway, loft, living-room house. When I came home and saw what a horrible job he did!!! I was flaming!!!! I was charge and extra 100.00 for carpets treatments (ok, I expected that). But not to have it cleaned. I contacted the company and spoke with a female on the phone.. she was pleasantly nice and she sent out another technician to come and redo my carpet. "He spent only 30 minutes and really did not try any harder". Carpets were not any different. I would not be complaining if I knew he could have done better. The good: Technician arrived on time, was professional, job was completed quickly. The carpet looks better (not great). The bad: High traffic areas still looked like high traffic areas. With other cleaners, the tech would have raked the area, pre-treated, raked some more to work the solution into the carpet, and then cleaned. This tech pre-treated in one room (not the other two) then cleaned. He didn't bring in a carpet rake until I asked if he had one. He claimed one room had "never even been vacuumed" when it had been cleaned just prior to his arrival. Very underwhelmed. read more

This is understandable and they got out most of the big stains but the rest of the job was just satisfactory. I thought I would get the wow factor but I did not. I have used Zerorez several times. This will unfortunately be my last time using their service. The pricing is one reason. I have a fifth-wheeler with about 200 sq ft of carpet. They wanted to price me out at $150 for an RV even though a 3 room cleaning in a house is advertised at $89. Then there's zone pricing which adds to the price, depending on the quality of your neighborhood.
