Called office and told them that is too late, need to cancel and they insisted all afternoon appointments are a 1-6 arrival window. She finally admitted my 2-4 confirmation was a "computer glitch" that they knew about. How am I supposed to know that?? Very inconvenient that we prepared for this and they have no clue where their people are or let you know that they're running late. And then to fight about it with me on the phone? Terrible customer service! We used Zerorez in the fall and had a great tech, carpet was perfect! Called them back out end of February, had a young tech who left our carpet smelling worse than before the clean, which i revealed on their customer satisfaction survey. First week in March, someone reached out to say they would like to come out and make it right. That was right as Covid shutdown was hitting, so out of precaution and not even knowing if they were considered "essential" and allowed to work, I didn't get back to them. Once they started advertising on the radio again, and the Covid risk had been diminished, I called them back to see if they could still honor their promise. The manager said it had been too long--even though the entire state has been shit down--and they would not return to make things right. I will take my quarterly carpet business elsewhere. read more

Talk about bait and switch, this company is masterful at that policy. I called today to have my carpets cleaned. When I asked the price with the girl on the phone (Jennifer), she said they were having a great deal. She Quoted $99 for 4 rooms, $20 extra for the hallway and $2 a stair. I was fine with this price and scheduled the appointment. When they show up to clean I am now told it's $675!!! $1100 if I want the full package. I settled for $275 to do ONE room. The explanation for the $99 is that is a "walk-in" price. Not exactly sure what the heck that meant. read more

I was excited to try a Carpet Cleaning company that used only water! I used only one carpet company in the past (I am a new home-owner), and they did a decent job but arrived 4 hours late - eeeek!, so I thought I would give Zerorez a try. I heard their commercial on the radio (great exposure that must bring loads of new clients), so I contacted them yesterday for a quote, someone gave me a call back around 1 pm today (great short response), but man, they were soooo rude! It seemed like the lady on the phone could not care less whether she got my business or not! I have never had my tile cleaned and want to have it cleaned this time around, so, of course, I asked questions about the process, etc., and the lady would just reply with one word answers. I apologized and explained I knew nothing about tile cleaning, and she was very dismissive. So when I finally had an approximate quote (that was only based on guesses!), the lady gave me a total way above what advertised! It says $119 for three rooms in big and bold on their website (I read the excuse about not being able to say more than this great price on the radio because of radio time, but on the website, the fee could be mentioned!), with no mention of an extra $14 water disposal fee! I do not even care about paying the extra $14 if I am aware of it beforehand, but I call this false advertisement. Too bad, I could have been a life-time customer! And if you fish a ton of new clients via a radio commercial spot, at least hire professionals who will be courteous, friendly over the phone! read more

Zerorez apparently means Zero-Clean. Had my carpets cleaned yesterday and absolutely no difference between the before/after. Carpets in my home are 3 years old and in great shape. When Alejandro arrived we walked the house and he said carpets look great and there won't be any issue with the few high-traffic areas. Well, he was wrong...my carpets look no different now and I spent $300. DO NOT USE these guys; the whole "zero" approach is a scam as it appears they just push water thru your carpets. read more

We had Zerorez come out to clean our 4 year old recliner couch. There was nothing wrong with the seat cushions before they arrived. However, after waiting the allotted time to properly dry, we sat on the couch to watch TV and realized we felt lumps in the cushions. It's a 3 seat couch and we proceeded to sit on every cushion on the couch and realized every cushion had lumps in it. Needless to say I will never use this company to clean anything again. I called them and there was nothing they could do, so I called my extended warranty on the couch and was told they do not cover seat cushions. After hearing and hearing the zerorez commercials on the radio, I finally had to write my review. The commercial states so many positive things that I tried them...it was quite a while back actually....but, every time I hear those commercials it makes me wince. We had a horrible experience with them. We have quite a large house and we had every carpeted room done...from the time they got out of their truck until the time I paid them and they left it only took them about 30-45 mins. Now you first might think, "wow that's fabulous they are so thorough and fast!!! But it was actually the opposite, they only took that long to do the whole thing because they rushed through the whole thing. The house smelled dirty and even after it dried it looked the same way as it did before...and was just horrible. We called and they came back out in a few hours to touch up a bit, but it didn't make a difference at all....it was still a total rush job. I was so disappointed! I wanted so much to love them. They were the first company in San Diego to come out to clean the carpets in my brand new house...and I was excited to try them out. Boy I wish my carpet cleaners from Orange County could drive this far down because I'm still looking for our future carpet cleaning company. Such a rip off, not at all worth it!!!! read more

Great advertising, poor execution. Intrigued by their zero residue empowered water cleaning we had Zerorez clean our carpets. I was ready to be sold on their product and service (despite somewhat higher than average prices) as I liked the idea. Unfortunately the cleaning staff was not all that thoughtful or courteous. In their rush to get the job done they did not notice the blue hose was rubbing up and down the stairwell corners removing paint and leaving behind blue streaks. Also, we were going to have our couches cleaned but the price ended up being more than double what we were told over the phone. Quite steep for upholstery cleaning in my opinion! I'll keep looking for other chemical free cleaning solutions. read more

I had carpet cleaned 2 months ago. Husband fell and there was blood on the carpet. I called you and was told not to put anything on it that you would get the blood out. The technician was not able to remove the blood! I had to replace the carpet. I called you to discuss the matter. I recd a return email telling me you would look into it! That was several weeks ago. Independent Review.. No services were provided, this review is strictly related to their fees.. I heard an radio advertisement for this company and decided to give them a try, not that was unhappy with the current company that I use. The advertised quote was $119 for 3 areas, which is perfect for my needs. After taking my information, I was given the quote as stated above; however there was an additional $14 water disposal fee, I asked why of course, and was told they use alkaline water and there was a fee for disposal, Immediately a red flag went up, my initial thought was, here we go with the nickel and diming, sure enough I was right. The next charge came after advising them my unit was upstairs, the fee for climbing stairs $25. Instead of politely ending the call, I made an appointment and was given a whopping 4 hour window, definitely not conducive with my life. After much thought, I called back and canceled.. From a formerly faithful customer who even sent them new customers... Their lack of faithfulness is just the tip of the iceberg, they aren't all they're cracked up to be... After their last visit to my home, I had "traffic patterns" return... I used some spray-on/vacuum-off cleaner about a week after their cleaning and it worked better. I think the big thing is that their cleaning stands the carpet up a bit, once it gets walked on the fibers sit back down and the dirt down low shows up. The concept is nice, no soaps, no pollution, whatever... Clean is clean and their sales pitch is a lot of hot air. I had heard on the radio about a 3 room special for like $120. I called to make an appointment for 2 rooms, a hallway, and a set of stairs. When the man arrived, my fiancé and I decided to skip the stairs and do the bio "pet" treatment instead. The guy was literally in our home for Maybe a half an hour. He didn't spend any extra amount of time on the spots where I know our cat has urinated. He simply sprayed the floor and sucked it up. 3 days and $300 later, my house still reeks of pet urine, the carpets looks feel gross like they were never even cleaned. Going to call them today to have them come out and actually do the pet treatment that we paid for or as for a refund. If they pull through I will use them again. I never write reviews but, I felt I had to this time. My husband heard an advertisement on the radio that they were running some sort of special so, he called and made the appt. They called Sat. at 7:30 am to confirm the appt. 7:30am on a Sat! Then Tuesday the day of the appt. a young kid showed up early (I was thankful I didn't have to wait around for him most of the day.) He comes in and I tell him what i just need my front room done, I have a senior lab that had 2 accidents on the carpet and I have a high traffic area that needs some TLC. He goes on for 5 mins straight about pet urine stains, gets down on his hands and knees and proceeds to smell (just gross, you couldn't pay me enough to smell a strangers carpet) to "rate" the urine stains. 5 more minutes goes by and I finally just stop him and ask "is this something you can't clean?" He says "No, No, No I'm just trying to figure out a quote because we charge extra for pet stains" and continues asking me... What kind of dog I have, how big is my dog... Does it really matter what kind of dog I have? Dog urine is dog urine no matter the size! Then he started taking notes, good god is this ever going to end. Finally I've had enough and he got the hint. Gives me a quote of $70 and $140. If I went with the $70 my house will smell like urine after the carpet cleaning (even through my house doesn't smell like urine before he came, I have a very clean home) he highly recommends I do the premium cleaning for the extra $140 a total of $243. I hate being up-sold my original quote was for $103 so, that more then doubled. I was so close in telling him to leave but, I just figured your here just do what you quoted me for. When my husband called he asked them if we had to move any furniture they said "No, just move all the small stuff and they'd move the rest" so, before the appt. I moved out all the small stuff lamps, dinning room chairs, rugs...etc and just left the coffee table, sofa, the bigger stuff. He came in and started the carpet cleaning, I was in my office while he cleaned no more then 15 minutes went by when he said he was done. Wow that was fast! I looked at it real quick and it looked good (no furniture was moved) I paid by check $103 my quoted price and gave the young kid $20 cash tip and said Thank you and off he went. Worst way to spend $123 After he left I noticed he never even moved my coffee table or cleaned under it. I moved my dinning room chairs he never even cleaned under my dinning room table and as soon as it started to dry all the stains started to come up in my high traffic area with no pet stains and the rest of my carpet looks just the same as it did before he cleaned. I get it, I didn't pay the extra $140 for the 2 "pet stains" but come on. And not to clean under my table makes me so mad what a waste of time and money. read more

We needed to have our hardwood floors cleaned and finished without the mess caused by sanding the floors. After two Golden Retrievers and many years of wear the floors were looking worn and in need of expert care. We knew the process would be expensive and we wanted it done right. Zerorez did a fantastic job. The floors were difficult to strip down to the original finish and reseal but they got it done. I called Zerorez because of the referral from the radio station 760. It was advertised as costing $129 for 5 rooms (4 bedrooms and a hallway). I was excited to get our carpeting done. The carpet was installed and we were very careful with it.. When the kind man came who was the serviceman, he began and in the middle of getting it done, he showed me the contract. It was not Zerorez - it was contracted out (in North San Diego County) to All Natural - the Healthy way. I asked so where was ZeroRez and they reaffirmed that Zero Rez contracts it out. The cost was over $500 and the carpets were clean , but very wet , making me run my overhead fans for 2 days and avoid going into the rooms if possible. We are two people in a large home with very little traffic, so not a lot to clean. We wanted to make sure no remnant of smoke from the fires around. That happens to be one of the easiest things to clean, but this serviceman took our contract originally stated for $129 and when asked, he stated that figure only gets you into the house. They were polite and did a thorough cleaning of our entire whole house flooring. The carpets look practically new which is surprising considering they are 10 years old. The technicians showed up 3 hours early after attempting to call us to ok it (our phone line was down due to the storm). We were sure pleasantly surprised! They know you've either prepped for their arrival including taking the day off from work etc. so many just agree to their jacking up the price once they've arrived at your home. My place is small and is easy to clean but they gave me the 'song and dance' to add more $$ to the original phone quote and I'm calling BS as should you! Clean Quick & Easy!! Just had the guys from zerorez over - they were on time, polite and careful with our things. We have 2 big dogs, 3 cats & two kids so you can imagine the challenge!
