I've been to plenty other eyebrow threading places and this one by far is my favorite. The price is great with a yelp check in, only $5.99. I've had at least 4 different girls do my eyebrows and not once did I ever leave unsatisfied. The people they hire here definitely know what they're doing. I also love the rose water touch at the end, it feels so good on my freshly threaded eyebrows and smells amazing! And they even have a rewards program where you get a free eyebrow service after 10 services. Score! One of the main things I really love about this place is how I have never felt harassed or guilted for not having "cleaner" eyebrows. Yes, I admit, sometimes I take forever when deciding get my eyebrows done, but never has anyone from this place ever shamed me about it. They don't need to be as forceful as other places when encouraging you to come back because they already know they're doing such a great job that you'll come back anyways. I went back today, and had my eyebrows threaded by the original girl. Her name is Christen and she is awesome. I told her about last time, with the scabs and unevenness and she took a lot of care to make sure I was satisfied (and uninjured) this time. (FYI - $9.95 is a first time customer price, it is $12 thereafter). Another item of note - they have a customer appreciation card, so after a certain number of visits, you get a free threading. I love that shit. Seriously. I am such a sucker for customer appreciation cards. The overachieving Asian in me wants ALL THOSE BOXES FILLED IN! My life has changed. Not to sound dramatic or anything, but seriously, my life has changed ever since I decided to regularly thread my eyebrows! I don't have a lot of eyebrow hair and I always thought I didn't need to get them threaded, but I was so, so wrong. The first time I went here, the person threading did such a FABULOUS job and I wish I got her name!! I totally regret not asking her, because the last couple of times I've gone, it's been just OK. They listen to what I want, but for some reason, it's just not as great as the first time (but it's also not a BAD job by any means). The most I've had to wait on a Saturday was about 25 minutes, but that's expected! Other times, I was in within 10. Just depends on the day and time of day you go in. I always use the yelp check in deal and I end up paying $10 which includes a healthy tip. They accept credit card, but I usually try to pay cash and also participate in their rewards system. For the past couple years, I have been a regular customer at this establishment. I have always been very picky about my eyebrows, so when I found this place, it was safe to say they were my new "go-to" threading place. Not to mention their staff was always very friendly and tentative to my eyebrow needs. Over the past several months and multiple visits, I have grown overwhelmed with their new employees and horrible service. I found myself constantly waiting over 45 minutes to be helped! Usually, I would wait to be seated, then proceed to tell my threader, in detail, how I wanted my eyebrows done. My results were always spot on to my expectations, up until recently. On multiple occasions, my threader would comment on my "uneven" eyebrows then continue to do an even more uneven job after I explained what I wanted! I spent so long growing out my brows after realizing how uneven they were, for them to just be ruined and thinned to the core?! Really...?! I actually had to stop getting my eyebrows done for them to grow out completely! You could imagine how I felt having to do this. The employees commenting on my uneven brows are the ones who ended up giving me an uneven job! I am disappointed to say that their customer service has gone down the drain. I used to have to drive ALL THE WAY to Cerritos to get my eyebrows threaded. It was super cheap at $4.99, but plus gas I would be spending more than what they charge at Zia Threading. I was very excited they opened a threading place in Chino Hills because Salon Sonal had rude employees and Shear Artistry kept bumping up their prices. Every time I get my eyebrows done, I luckily get Christen. She's super nice and does a fabulous job. I always walk away feeling good. I recommend calling in advance to see if she's working. They do also have other girls there, but I haven't had the chance to get my eyebrows done by them. Except for one time, which is the reason why I only gave Zia's 4-stars. She looked young and took a very long time. Each of the other girls got done with 2 customers before she got done with me. So beware of who you let do your eyebrows! It's $7.99 for eyebrows and they do have a whole menu and prices of what you can get done. Eyebrows and upper lip is $12.99. They have a frequent customer card which is a plus as well. The 5th time is $2 off & the 10th time is FREE. And I suggest going early in the week or when they first open to avoid waiting, because it can get busy. read more

Take advantage of the Yelp Check-In Deal while it lasts! I came to Zia sort of on a whim. My eyebrows had grown wild, and I couldn't go to my regular threading place in Northridge. Admittedly, I was a little nervous since a botched brow job is hard to conceal. Zia is located in a busy business complex right next to a Starbucks. The interior is clean and simple, with a few chairs in the middle of the room. Compared to my usual threading place that's located in a dingy backroom of an Indian grocery store, Zia is a HUGE upgrade. I can't remember the name of the young lady who threaded me, but she did a wonderful job. She followed my directions so well. Even better, she was really good at small talk, which actually made me a lot more comfortable with her. I will request her again for sure. Price-wise, Zia is in the middle. It's not too cheap, but it's also not too expensive. Even without the check-in deal, you would still be spending less than $10 for quality work. I'm all for high quality and low prices, so you can count me as a fan of Zia. read more

I've been growing out my brows for 3 months since over plucking them and I have to say, I am so glad my friend brought me here! IT IS LIFE CHANGING. I was apprehensive to try a new place because the last place I went to the lady took too much when I asked for a trim (took me forever to regrow the little progress I made). I told the owner my issue and she assured me I would be taken care of. I went in and had my appt as scheduled. I've tried a ton of threading places locally and this one here is my FAVORITE!!! Amy and Sakina thread my eyebrows. I'm super sensitive and Amy has such a soft hand when it comes to this. I'm barely ever red when I leave and she always makes sure they're even. I'm such a rebel I don't even look in the mirror when she's through . I have been a customer since they opened their doors. The salon is clean and has the cutest decor. Staff is professional and courteous. Sakina the owner is awesome. I had an issue with a former technician making my eyebrows to thin. Sakina offered a refund and promised to correct them once the grew out. Ami is my eyebrow artist now and she is awesome. Ami gets it right all the time! We just changed my high arch to a thicker brow. Love it! Ami's facials are wonderful. My only complaint... The room for facials is not private; you can hear people talking and walking. You need quiet in order to relax. Overall great place for Threading. read more

This place was no frills, but clean, fast and friendly. I was a threading virgin my first time there. The girl who did threaded me was gentle and talked me through it. It wasn't exactly painless, but it didn't hurt any more than waxing. I even got the nerve to get my upper lip done. I forgot her name, but she was great. I went this afternoon around 4pm on my way to my brother's place. REALLY needed to get my eyebrows done since they were getting pretty scary and hadn't found a place in the Bay area that I wanted to go to. It was only a short wait. The place was pretty clean (a few threads near a trashcan at one station) and well kept. The lady who did my eyebrows was really friendly and quick. She didn't try to up-sell me on anything (I despise that!) The rosewater they use afterwards was cool and refreshing leaving a very nice fragrant scent for a bit. The lady did a fantastic job, extremely thorough and clean (and trust me, I needed it!!) I would definitely go back the next time I'm in town for a $7.99 eyebrow price. I used to swear by this place...now not so much. Before, the women who used to do my eyebrows were very gentle, and never broke thread while shaping my eyebrows. But the past three times they have been really rough, breaking thread every time, and have left me several small cuts that leave scabs. My eyebrows still come out nice and clean, but now I am left with cuts on my eyebrows. I still love the rose water, the quick service and cleanliness. Yesterday [Aug. 22] was my first time going to this place. Only bc I do not live in Chino Hills, I was just visiting but I needed to get my eyebrows done ASAP & this was the closest place to my cousin & I. Walked in & signed in. There were 2 ladies working & we were immediately greeted. We were there for eyebrows & underarm waxing. To the lady that helped me (didn't get a chance to get her name) did such an amazing job with my brows & I can honestly say... This is the first time my brows have ever been so even & perfect. Mind you, I have very sparse brows so some people who thread my brows usually thin them out bc they cannot see the shape (I'm guessing). Anyways, the first question she asked me was if I wanted to keep the thickness of my brows & I was so shocked! No one ever asks me that, it's usually "just a clean up?" as if they knew how I like my brows to be. Side note: I don't get my brows done religiously every 2-3 weeks bc sometimes I like to reshape them. I explained to her how I like my brows & to not really touch the middle of my brows bc I've had ladies take off too much & 1 brow would be so much shorter than the other but she literally didn't touch the middle so I asked if she can just do the center & she did just that. GIRLLLL! If only I caught her name, I would let you all know who she is but sadly, I didn't. The other lady who did my underarm wax was super gentle & instead of plucking the hairs that didn't come off, she threaded them off. I was so weirded out that she grabbed the string to start threading when she said she needs to remove the smaller hairs but don't be frightened, it feels good! Much less painful than having someone pluck, as odd as that sounds but it's true. I'll definitely be coming back if I'm ever in the area & I hope that lady is there too bc she was amazing! read more
