For our last day in Indiana, my coworkers thought it would be great for us to experience Waffle House. There aren't any locations in CA and NY - so two of us from these states were excited to try it out. First off, we were greeted with a wonderful welcome by this young lady working with two other people. She was upbeat and had such an enthusiastic energy about her. Second, the two-page menu was simple but there were variations of waffles, scattered potatoes, eggs, etc. that it was hard to decide what to get. Of course, I had to have their waffles - after all, it's in their business name. And then I copied my coworker who ordered scattered potatoes. She got hers smothered and covered, while I got mine smothered and country. OMG, both of these dishes were incredible! It was nice and hot. Seriously!! I savored every bite. Third, the prices were amazing. We were able to feed 4 people under $25! What a steal! Overall, the entire experience was memorable.
