This is my second time at Brickhouse, and I'm quickly becoming a fan. The coffee is excellent, but I also really enjoy the atmosphere. It's comfortable, welcoming, and there's plenty of space to sit down and get some work done. They also have some great food options and normally offer fresh made bakery items. Unfortunately, their baker is currently out, so the selection was a little limited this visit, but what they did have was amazing. I've tried both the cortado and the Cubano. They absolutely nailed the cortado. The Cubano was a fun surprise. It's Brickhouse's take on a café con leche, served in a 4 oz mug and made with steamed half-and-half rather than condensed milk. As a Cuban, I can be pretty particular about anything calling itself Cuban coffee but this definitely works. It hits the right flavor notes and gives you that rich, creamy coffee experience I'm looking for. This place rocks. Great coffee, great atmosphere, friendly place to work, and definitely somewhere I'll keep coming back to. read more

I was at a nearby Yelp event, however, this is a cool little retail corner and I decided to visit a couple of other spots. I'd always been curious about Brickhouse Coffee. So, I finally decided to stop in. Brickhouse is located in a larger strip center set back from Fall Creek Road at 96th. It has both indoor and outdoor tables. There's a curb-cut almost directly in front of it, and nearby parking offers accessible options. This strip center is actually fairly old, though Brickhouse moved in not long after the pandemic hit as I recall. It has survived and thrived, from what I've been told, because of their quality products, winning ambience, and friendly service. This is the retail home of Brickhouse Roasters. There's a strong element of faith as the cornerstone of Brickhouse as the owners were missionaries, and their stated mission involves using their coffeehouse as a training platform for missionaries. Brickhouse is locally owned and Indy-based. You can get their beans here, and there's a wide variety of options. Basic options include coffees, lattes, espressos, and all the varieties one would expect. Brickhouse also carries Nelson Teas, Thrive Kombucha, Pure Memory Water, Triple X Root Beer, Martinelli Apple Juice, Natalie Orange Juice, Evian Sparkling Water, imported Mexican sodas and other options. Brickhouse has breakfast and lunch options, baked goods, and quite a bit more. The ambience is definitely a winner. It's intimate yet bold, comfortable yet sort of invigorating. The employees I met were super friendly on a quiet Sunday morning. They are open seven days a week, though there's some variance in their hours. As someone who is almost embarrassingly devoted to my Keurig, I was pleasantly surprised to see they do have some pod options for retail. I'd just gone to a Yelp event, so I kept it pretty simple on this visit and picked up an iced coffee. There's no doubt I'll be back to try the baked goods. I also noted the friendliness of the customers. That's always a good sign to me. As someone who is frequently alone, I tend to go to those places where I can connect even if it's just a passing friendliness. I felt that here. I'll be back. read more

This is a fun coffee spot with tons of good seating both inside and out. It is a busy place so unfortunately we weren't able to get our beverages in the timeframe we had the day we went. But it was a fun vibe and I would go back. It seemed like everyone was happy with their purchases but if you have to wait 20 minutes just to place an order I plan on having more time than we did for the meet up. Brickhouse is such a cute coffee shop in the Lawrence/Geist area! Decided to try it after my stop around the corner and couldn't decide on which drink to get so I got both of the ones I wanted (LOL I know but hey adult money ). I got the Honeycomb Shaken Espresso and the Coconut Cold Brew. I absolutely LOVED the Honeycomb Shaken Espresso, the honey blend with whatever other flavors they add to it really brings the drink to life. I WISH they had it in a bigger size because I need it lol. The coconut cold brew was just okay. Not really a fan even though I love coconut but maybe if I had added another flavor or something the drink would've been better. Service was good and smooth! The staff were friendly. Being my first time here I had to a lot of question but they had me covered. I've been obsessed with Brickhouse from my first visit. I initially stopped in because I saw on their website that they have gluten free and dairy free scones. I love scones. Sold! I've since been many times and I love this place. The Glass Slipper tea is my fave--a lovely cherry almond caffeine free blend. I'll pair it with a scone, the blueberry earl grey maybe being my favorite. (But they are all so good!) I come in here to write, and they have a good amount of outlets and seating. They do get busy, so sometimes I'm squeezing in to the last spot for a bit, but it does slow down if I'm there a while. They have a rewards program that's great! I've earned free pastries and teas, and it felt easy to do (unlike some local shops that take a loooong time for me to earn a reward). Anyway, I love Brickhouse and will hear no criticisms. Did some house hunting today and I made a pit stop after I saw this coffee shop... I LOVE supporting small businesses! As soon as I walked in I was greeted and the place was very inviting. It has a chill vibe to it and it definitely had a community feel. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was amazing! The coffee is strong and good. I didn't get anything to eat but I know I'll be back! First time in, and already made up my mind I was going to purchase a drink but wasn't sure. I picked up a couple Too Good To Go bags for fun. Ended up ordering the Ube latte and it was AMAZING! Xzavion was very sweet and helpful (hope I spelled his name right and my apologies if I didn't, please forgive me). An item caught my eye while I was waiting for my latte and it was a strip. Lavender rose! He gave me a sample and it was too good to pass up so I purchased a bottle. He also made another coffee with the syrup and it was very delicious. Definitely glad I bought it. Thank you for making me feel so welcome and I especially loved that when I walked in they were making someone else's coffee but i still was greeted and told kindly they'd be with me shortly. It's definitely a breath of fresh air when someone acknowledges you even though they're in the middle of taken care of someone else. Truly appreciate the wonderful customer service! Let's start with the amazing ... the affogato was amazing, perfect with the espresso and ice cream.. this is definitely a big recommendation !! The vibe was calm and serene and love the industrial lighting and decor! Nice selection of food offered although I didn't eat anything at the time. Merchandise is offered from shirts to coffee to even beanies. I did get the Espana latte and honestly wasn't impressed. Gluten free treats, homemade syrups, friendly staff, great coffee?! I'm in! This was my first time to experience Brickhouse and boy have I been missing out. I happen to be driving by and stopped in to a wonderful gluten free chocolate chip banana bread mini loaf, and their Triple B Carmel latte. DELISh! Their coffee is soooooo smooth. Well blended flavor and the loaf hit the spot! I cannot wait to come back and grab a coffee with their lavender & rose syrup. They let me taste the syrup and I was hooked! This is one of the best, possibly THE best local coffee shop in Indy. It's cozy but with plenty of tables, great if you are meeting someone over coffee. Everything they make is great from the drinks to the food, and service is always good as well. I got the very berry spritz refresher, which was delicious and you could tell it was made with fresh berries (much more natural than Starbucks refreshers but just as good). My husband always gets the triple B latte, which is one of their signature drinks. There is lots of parking available as it's located in a strip mall with a big lot. My wife and I enjoyed a late-morning visit to Brickhouse on President's Day 2026. We both ordered handcrafted drinks: I had a delightfully smooth cortado, and my wife enjoyed her "favorite" cold brew yet -- a strawberry and cream cold brew. I was coming home from an apartment tour and I noticed Brickhouse Coffee from the road, so I had to stop by for a latte. OMG!! When I walked into the shop, the sight of a huge coffee grinder grinding coffee beans for fresh coffee caught my attention and I fell in love instantly. I went up to the counter and noticed the summer menu on the shelf. The raspberry Rhubarb latte instantly caught my eye, and I was able to make it a matcha latte with oat milk. The baked goods looked phenomenal, and decided to go with the lavender Lemon Scone. The ambiance of Brickhouse Coffee is very relaxing and comfortable, and very heartwarming. I loved the decor and the wood paneling on the walls. The coffee grinder grinding coffee beans is the best feature of the coffee shop. The baristas were very nice and professional and answered all questions I had on the menu. They provided excellent customer service. The raspberry Rhubarb latte was probably the best beverage I have had in a while. It was made with love and care and high quality! I could taste the raspberry and the rhubarb right away. The lavender Lemon Scone was incredible and amazing. The texture of the scone was perfect and pure heaven. Having explored coffee shops around Indy, I would definitely say by far that Brickhouse Coffee is my #1 favorite coffee shop in Indianapolis. The beverages are truly done to perfection by the staff and their pastries are very fresh and taste incredible. The ambiance is exceptional and has a lot to offer to the customer. Wow!! The service was great. I've been trying new coffee shops in this area- this one specifically has topped them all! My sister, nephew, & I tried a variety of things between two separate days & we had no complaints! We saw the same barista both days & she even remember specific things about our order! For example I'm gluten free & she remembered for my breakfast sandwich. They also roast their own beans - we got to see part of the process the second visit we had there! They have the yummiest gluten free & regular food items! The oatmeal cream sandwiches are a must try (GF & vegan). My family who isn't GF couldn't tell & said they were delicious! We also tried a couple breakfast sandwiches, muffins, scones, & coffee cake. ** Barista said baked fresh daily! ** As for the coffee / drinks - omg so good! My nephew tried the bottled beverages - root beer, strawberry milk, & chocolate milk (all super yummy & tasty)! I had seasonal summer camp latte (such cute names) - which is a marshmallow latte with oat milk made with triple b shots! Located in a vibrant strip shopping center, this coffee house stands out with their bold black letters on the brick exterior. Warm rustic country is the theme I felt upon walking in. It was fairly busy on a early Saturday afternoon with groups of people split up among the picnic tables and window viewing bar seating. Service was quick despite the crowd and my Chai tea latte came out quick. It was spicy nice and tasted so good on this cold chilly day. This is a great spot to grab coffee or breakfast. We were welcomed with friendly service and I use to go to this coffee shop a fair amount when they were located in Greenwood. I ordered a drink off their spring menu, which was a hazelnut cold brew with a carmel cold foam. I enjoyed the cold brew, and really liked the hazelnut flavor. They make their syrups in house. The cold foam was a bit off, as it was not really a foam and you couldn't enjoy it with the type of lid they used. I'm not sure if this is how the cold foam usually looks, or if it was an off day. I didn't order food today, but their display case of baked goods looked delicious! They also have sandwiches that can be ordered. read more

The staff were amazing!!!! I'm a faux coffee drinker. I dibble & dabble from time to time trying different coffee drinks. I don't like the kick or real taste of coffee, but want a splash of it. I explained this to, who I think was the owner, and she was able to make a suggestion on how I should get my coffee. Well, if at first you don't succeed, try again. And this she offered to do because the first cup was a tad bit strong with the coffee taste and not sweet enough. I was willing to pay, but she insisted that they would fix me another and offered to jot down the exact concoction for my future visits. Oh, I'm definitely going back! The second cup was perfect!!! Now let's talk about the "bigger than life" homemade coffee cake!!! It managed to eat off of one slice for 2-3 days. You can't go wrong getting a slice or two. Go for the coffee. Bypass the food. We love supporting local coffee shops. it's one of my passions. We've gone to Brickhouse several times. This last time we got breakfast sandwiches. I am gluten & dairy free. Their Menu board listed a few sandwich options one being bacon egg & cheese & another being sausage on a croissant. I asked for the egg,bacon & no cheese on Native gf bread. My boyfriend is vegetarian & he asked for a egg & cheese on croissant. Upon ordering the cashier said they typically dont offer substitutions but they will do them this time but may not be available the next time. Well, we got them & the egg was cold on both sandwiches. I still got cheese & I'm pretty sure my bread was not the gf option. (I ended up just eating the bacon & egg part & pellibg off the cheese)I know this because I buy Native Bread from the local bakery & have it at home. All around the whole experience it put a bad taste in our mouths. To the business--- If you don't want to offer substitutions on menu items, please post this on the menu so patrons will know & won't feel scolded for asking. Next time.... Was traveling to McCordsville but was in need of a hot coffee. I googled local coffeehouses and Brickhouse came up. I had never been to Brickhouse and was excited to try a new coffee shop. I was really impressed with their extensive menu that includeed lattes, shaken espressos and teas. I usually like to choose a seasonal latte, so I went with the Autumn Harvest which was made with oatmilk. I had some time to kill, so I decided to dine in. Even though I didn't get any food, the place smelled so good . You can tell the bake their in stuff in house. My latte arrived with some pretty coffee art. If I had to create a top 5 Indy coffee list, Brickhouse would be in that list. The coffee house initially started as a Roastery and now they brew their own coffee and serve some very delicious baked goods. I tried Lavender Lemon Scone paired with Americano and I must say that was such a stellar combination. The crispy lemony scone with hints of lemon and medium roast Columbia's roast was such a fine morning treat. This coffee shop isn't a chain and is a local gem in Geist. One of the top shelf social spaces in all of Indy, welcoming and warm space decorated with lots of browns and coffee, I noticed a bit small but that's how it often goes with superior brews, a little bunch of chairs. And it fits too well here, I couldn't believe the hard work they put in their menu! Elderflower latte? Never seen that one before and like the pecan latte I had last year at a place in Illinois, one sip in had me wondering why this isn't a common java item. I wanted to try everything on the menu. House made syrups are the essential sign of the best espresso mixes, well balanced, tongue tingling texture, and making all Starbucks diabetes drinks look like middle school compared to Harvard. Tried Brickhouse the other day. Nice little shop and liked the atmosphere. The workers were friendly so that's always a plus. I got a mocha, my wife a vanilla latte. And we tried the coffee cake as well. The coffee was good but not anything special compared to others we've tried. The coffee cake was a little disappointing. The outer crust was overcooked and it was overall just dense and hard to cut through. We sat at a booth and the bench wasn't overly comfortable. Glad we tried them as we try different shops around the area, just was a little underwhelmed by the total experience compared to other shops we've tried. read more

Stopped at Brickhouse Coffee today for the first time, immediately impressed with their chalkboard menu options and pastry case. They have a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior gives an industrial coffee roastery with brown burlap bags stacked lining the walls along with a coffee roaster. I'm always open to trying experimental coffee flowers, so I went with the elderflower latte, which was delicious! It's a lightly floral taste similar to rose, but a bit more distinctive. The first time I got a coffee there, I got a Triple B Carmel Latte. As I drove away, I started to question whether or not there was alcohol in my coffee. (I'm not complaining) The espresso is aged in old bourbon barrels and it really adds to the flavor. It was yummy!!! I've been there several more times and I've had the chai and a few more Triple B lattes. No complaints. The brewed coffee is pretty strong but great flavor and not too acidic. I like the atmosphere and there are some comfortable couches and chairs, as well as tables and booths. Even when it is busy, it seems fairly quiet.
