We had driven all day and one of the girls in our group really wanted pizza! We stumbled upon this place and decided to try it out. They do not have slices, but the pricing for the small pizza was not bad at all! The restaurant itself was clean and the staff was friendly. The pizza came out pretty quickly--maybe ten minutes max! The pizza sauce had this amazing taste to it! The crust is a thin crust. Perfect amount of cheese! All three of us were thrilled with our pricing and the pizza that we ordered. Surprised that the pizza was so good. Ordered the ZZ Top, it was almost closing time. Took it back to Wyndham Resort, very short walk. Thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and surprised at the reasonable price. Would definitely get a pizza here next time we're in Oceanside. read more

This is by far the the best as well as best priced food I had in Oceanside. The food is amazing and you can get a pizza for ~$10. I got Maggie's Farm which is vegetarian with a lot of veggie toppings such as broccoli, mushroom, carrots, and zucchini. It was so good and not just the average pizza. This pizza is perfectly average. I would go again, but only if there wasn't another option and I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. You can tell they buy cheap ingredients. If you are hungry and want a quick bite to eat it is a good spot, but just don't expect quality ingredients. A few reasons why I am going with 3 star ava 4 or 5: 1- even though I ordered my salad to go, there was no mention of utensils, so I got all the way to the beach before realizing, I had no fork! 2- the sausage and mushroom pizza I ordered had barely any mushrooms at all on it! 3- while the pizza hit the spot, it was definitely nothing to write home about... it was a-okay and convenient for the beach but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here otherwise. Ok, what?! Umm this is like a Blaze, Pieology, or MOD and I'm here for it. THIS IS PERFECT FOR BEING RIGHT BY THE PIER AND HOTELS!! They offer GF Cauliflower crust and have a "bottle shop" drink set up. There's something for everyone. The inside is larger than what you'd expect from merely walking by. It's also operated under the same umbrella company as it's neighbor 333 Pacific--so if you've eaten there, you know this place will be good! I wish they had vegan cheese... but I imagine that wouldn't sell before going bad, so I understand the hang up there. (But, maybe something to look into for the vegan and dairy intolerant folks. I mean, assuming the cauliflower crust is also vegan, otherwise the vegan point is moot.) The staff were friendly and actually caring in their craft. The dining area was clean and well maintained. (This is no easy feat in the summer, on a weekend, this close to the beach. KUDOS!) We will most definitely be back!!! read more

Pizza was reasonably priced and one is enough for two with salad. Service was fast, food was good. One pizza was up to 5-6 toppings so, it was good! I love pizza. It isn't my favorite food (steak), but it's up there. And it's definitely my go to "normal" food (not a special occasion). It's delicious, it's not SUPER unhealthy, and it's usually reasonably inexpensive (especially for a full meal). I've been to this place in Oceanside on several occasions. I have never had a bad experience here with the service or the food. The pizza has always been very good. They have several options to choose from, and I think you can even "build your own pizza" if you want to. I always just order straight off the menu. I've always called my order in ahead, and then by the time I'm at the restaurant my pizza is ready to go. The pizzas are small enough that I can eat an entire pie in a single serving, and would probably serve as a meal for a larger individual (or a hungry one), but they're also small that two adults could probably split one if they wanted to. They also have a row of refrigerators filled with beverages in the line to check out. I've never eaten in the restaurant, but it seems like it has a nice vibe. The restaurant is also only a few blocks away from the beach. The one downside to this location (and all of downtown Oceanside really) is parking. There is a lot in the block just north of this location, but it is paid. I've never been able to find street parking at this location. Paying for parking might not seem like a big deal when you're dining in, or spending an afternoon, but it's a bummer to have to pay to park if you're just picking your pizza up. That's more of a complaint with the city though than with the restaurant. Overall, I like this place and will definitely be back. Highly recommend. read more

Well it's 11/8/2025 @ 8:40 I've called 4 times before now but no answer. I walked down before 8:30 and I'm told they are closed by the crew inside. All over my hotel is advertised they close at 9pm. this place was walking distance from the hotel i was staying at. it was also right by the pier but it was too cold to walk over there so we sufficed with just enjoying the view. i always go for a basic pepperoni pizza. i'm so glad i went a different route. the bbq chicken pizza was sooooo good! i rarely eat pineapple on my pizza but for some reason, the pineapple and bbq went so well together. as for the buffalo pizza, the white sauce wasn't really my favorite. it personally had a weird after taste. i would definitely go back and try different flavors! read more

I am here on a mission trip with my church from South Carolina, and we were looking for a spot to have dinner for 30+ people. ZigZag Pizza was closing when we came by, and they were so kind to stay open for us and serve our incredibly large group. We were all so thankful to have a delicious meal after canvassing the city, and the employees were absolutely amazing... they took our orders and made our food in such a timely manner and with such joy. Their drink selection was absolutely fire and so was the pizza. The cheese pull was insane!!!! I would recommend everyone new and seasoned in the area to stop by and check them out! I would also like to add that the ranch was out of this world... like better than Wing Stop ranch. ALSO they had ice cream! I just had an absolutly awful experience here. We drove an hour to try and get safe food for my children with Celiac while on our west coast roadtrip. The reviews on the Find Me Gluten Free App were good! When we got to counter and ordered 2 GF cheese pizza for my sons, I explained that they had Celiac. The counter person asked if they were at risk for cross contamination? I explained that they were, but that I had read online that they use a separate cooking space, changed gloves, ect. He looked at me and said "we're in the business of flour, its busy, accidents happen, there's a very good chance that cross contamination will happen". I asked again about the protocols that I had read about online, and he replied that it was busy and "people make mistakes". It was 6pm on a Friday, but only moderately busy, plenty of open tables. The manner in which he was speaking was almost a threat. He was clearly annoyed that he was wasting his time with our conversation. I fully understand that unless we're at a dedicated GF restaurant there is always a chance of Cross Contamination, but typically staff are confident in their protocols. I explained that my children would get sick from Cross Contamination, looking for a "we can try our best, or let me check with the kitchen". He just stared at me. We canceled our order and left. We're 1.5 years into my kids' diagnosis and I've never felt so belittled or dismissed by anyone before. Just yesterday at a Mexican restaurant in LA, the host was able to answer some questions and politely explained that their cooking surfaces were probably unsafe. He apologized and we politely left. No big deal, not their fault. I always appreciate honestly, but I've never experienced anything like this interaction at ZigZag. read more

Came here after walking around a bit on the pier and wanted to eat something my hubby and I could split. We came across this place and decided to split a pizza. The pizza was 11 inches. We ordered ticket to paradise-one that has chicken, bacon and some pineapple and was drizzled with some mango habanero sauce that was absolutely delicious. This place is decent. It's comparable to Blaze Pizza, in price, cheaper actually. Solid selection of toppings AND they don't overload the pizza with them. Ingredient quality doesn't seem quite as high as Blaze but if you account for their prices, it's a pretty good deal. I'll easily go here over Blaze. Nice, pretty cute interior for fast casual. It was fairly busy when I came in and service was quick. Update: This place currently has a 4% surcharge. I agree with the other reviewers, adding a 5% supplemental fee is deceiving for a customer. Raise your prices instead! Im sure im not the only tourist who did not noticed it until I got my receipt. It was my first and last time I will be eating here. I gave a 20% tip and it shocked me that they also sneaked that fee in. The service was decent.
