I absolutely love Zingo's! Such a treasure. The PB and J smoothie is life, and the vegetarian classic is a staple. Love it.

Came for lunch the other day and really enjoyed it. We split the feta salsa, which was only about $4 for the smaller size and I thought was pretty good (and decent sized)-- tasted like fatoosh salad and tabouli mixed with feta cheese. I got the junk salad (for $12, but probably worth it) and It was one of the better salads in the area. The dressing, the feta, the gyro meat, the chicken chunks, everything on it was really delightful-- I would recommend this to someone that really likes big, different, tasty salads. The person I was with got a gyro, which was pretty good as well. It is one of the better Mediterranean spots in the area, but not the best. read more

Usually find myself at Zingos whenever I am in the area. Zingos is my favorite place to get a gyro. You have to get it Zingo style though. They grill the pita so that it is crispy and flakey. I usually get one of their smoothies toppes with whipped cream. Im not usually a salad person, but I have an exception when it comes to Zingos. Their junk salad is amazing and is loaded with chicken and lamb. Its two meals for one. read more

Zingo's is a neat little place that historic downtown Perrysburg has to offer. It offers a semi modern/classic vibe setting to enjoy a quick bite to eat. The service was quick and the food was good. Unlike some area Mediterranean options, the flavors were well balanced. Not too bland or too overwhelming. Love any of their sandwiches Zingo style, especially chicken tawook. Cool setting in the summer when the outdoor seating is available. Added on to the restaurant which more than doubled the dining room section; this took care of issues getting a table. Not sure about authenticity blah blah blah, but I like it!! read more

This it the first Mediterranean/Arabic restaurant I've ever been to that was not operated by Mediterranean/Arabic people. Although a lot of "traditional" sandwiches and dishes are on the menu, there are also some unique "Americanized" renditions using traditional ingredients. The hummus is very good, the pita chips were very fresh. I had a tawook that was to be expected, the lady had the feta cous-cous that was really good. Seating seems limited, and carry-out may be just as good as dining inside. read more

Great Vegetarian Gyro. Amazing vegan chocolate cupcake. Delivery is usually prompt unless they are very busy. If that is the case, they tell you when you order that it may take them longer than usual to deliver. In house, the restaurant is very clean and the staff is very pleasant. read more

We had the gyros, the Lebanese chicken wrap and the falafel wrap. The gyros was probable the best I've ever had. The meat was perfectly crispy and the taziki sauce was thick and had a hint of mint with the right amount of cooling cucumbers. The Lebanese chicken wrap was equally as good, especially the tangy pickles and uh-MAZEing garlic sauce. The pita chips were crunchy and flavorful. I wish we lived by it! This place is neither Greek or Mediterranean. The lentil soup was awful, and why on earth is it puréed. The feta salsa was tasteless...mostly diced cucumber with little feta and no seasoning. The gyro was uneatable and had to be sent back. The pita was ice cold and the gyro meat seemed to be straight out of the fridge and heated in the microwave. read more

After spending three gorgeous days on Put-in-Bay with less than tasty and healthy food, my husband and I were hungry for some decent food. Thanks to Yelp, once again, we traveled a short distance off the toll road and found ourselves at Zingo's in Perrysburg. The restaurant was quite busy inside and out because it was Friday, at noon on July 3. But Oh, so many possibilities. We grabbed a menu and got in line to order. The line moved quite quick. The cashiers were very helpful, friendly, and patient. We paid the cashier, were given a number to place on our table and in a short time, the servers, who were also very friendly, attentive, and helpful, brought our lunch. My husband ordered the gyro, Zingo's style, and said it was the best he's ever had...and this coming from a hard to please hearty eater. Me? I ordered the perfect vegan falafel salad with just the right amount of tomatoes, radishes, parsley, cukes and warm falafel atop a huge mound of Romaine. The salad actually included fresh onions and tahini dressing but I eat neither. The menu claimed award winning carrot cupcake. My husband considers himself a connoisseur of carrot cake. Although good, "Not the best", was his comment. I love cherries so I had to try the Oatmeal Toffee Cookie. This was incredibly disappointing (thus one less star otherwise this would have been a five star review). The menu stated "crisp oatmeal cookie overflowing with dried cherries, toffee, and chocolate chunks. I think the baker lost track of his/her recipe because I dissected the cookie and found NOT one tidbit of cherry nor saw or tasted any caramel. Pure disappointment. If I rated our main lunch items minus the sweets, this would easily have earned a five star. When we travel east again, we will definitely drive out of the way for lunch, but not dessert. First time here. Casual, fairly busy, a bit noisy. Order and pay at counter, take a number to your table, and they bring the food to you. Had the Feta Chicken which was a good sized portion. The combination of the seasoned chicken, grilled vegetables, and bits of feta was just delicious. Bed of couscous under it all was a mild base. Reasonable prices. So in love with the Mediterranean Junk salad with Gyro & Chicken meat and all things necessary for a great salad with or without the salad dressing! Awesome flavors regardless. Only drawbacks it ain't a cheap lunch (which sometime you just gotta go there) and they NEED MORE HELP for lunch service. I spent 20 minutes getting my food. Too long for a lunch service. Worth the wait? Heck yeah! But boss is gonna catch on to me being late returning from lunch at some point. I'd give 5 stars but I can't because of the time issue. read more
