Always a very long wait behind everyone who is ordering, they often take phone calls as you just stand there waiting for them to simply hand you your bag of food and go. What a treat to find a healthy and delicious alternative to the fast food crap that usually greets us while traveling along I 80. I'm often flummoxed driving through this area by the lack of quality eats...and I'm here so often during lunch time! Even with the help of my handy Yelp app, I have, time and again, chosen what I thought was going to be a decent meal, only to be disappointed. Today we ventured a little further afield, and drove about 5 miles off of the highway into the picturesque village of Perrysburg. The Yelpers got it right this time, and we had a quick and delightful meal before heading back out on the road. Vegetarians and omnivores alike will find much to enjoy on this menu of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean plates. I had the Mediterranean Junk Salad, minus the gyro meat. This is the salad that I would make if I was to put everything I like best on one plate. The tahini dressing was perfect with the other ingredients, and the salad greens and veggies were just as fresh as they could be. They cube the chicken before grilling it, and it was cooked perfectly. Service is fast and friendly, and they have outdoor seating during the warmer months. People are calling this salad pricey, and maybe it is for this neck of the woods, but not in my book...not for what you get. I will return and try more. read more

Went to Zingo's last night with my other half and one of our great friends.....The menu was simple and everything sounded great. We were greeted by a friendly girl who was very knowledgeable about the menu and sides....I was caught back by the prices though....I do have to say they seem high compared to other Mediterranean restaurants in the area. I felt like my wallet was a bit "Zingo'd" for what I got:-) We both ordered the Chicken Tawook which came with a side of almond rice and a few small piece of pita bread.....Like I previously stated the food tasted well but for 2 Chicken Tawook Entree's , a sweat tea and a water was nearly $35 dollars which I felt was extremely overpriced....I would definitely recommend you going here for lunch which is more affordable but I wouldn't recommend paying their dinner prices....There are better more affordable Mediterranean places in the immediate area where you get just as much if not more bang for your dollar! read more

Due to a poorly timed parade and an accident, we could not make it to Zingo's until two hours after we called in to order food. When we finally went to pick it up, we found that they had offered us the same original meal they made two hours ago. It was lukewarm, salty, and an all around terrible experience. I myself had to throw out the cucumber sauce, because I refused to put my family at risk for a dairy product that they had not even bothered to try refrigerating. Your thoughtlessness is truly revolting. I should have never paid. read more

Great food and smoothies! They have some unique entrees that are mediterranean-based, but better (in my opinion) than super traditional options. My favorite is the feta chicken dish! The smoothies are really good too, and nothing is super expensive. read more

Really enjoy the vegetarian classic. The chicken tanoak also has a wonderful flavor. The serving sizes are generous and the ingredients seems fresh. The service is spotty and there is generally a line up to order or pick up to go orders....kind of frustrating to see your meal getting cool while several people in front of you order and pay for theirs. read more

I don't think there is any restaurant out there that has it all going for them like Zingos! I have been there several times and every meal from salads to entrees are unbelievably fresh, delicious, and hand made to order! Their own salad dressings are out of this world.....no bottled dressings there. I am vegan and there are so many choices for me. Healthy, fresh, unique, delicious, fast, great decor and friendly people....nothing better. I could eat there every day and not get bored with it. read more

Nice friendly atmosphere but thought the food was just ok. We tried the humus and we're not very impressed. The gyros were a very generous size. The meat had decent flavor but was dry. The pita for the gyro and the chips for the humus were on the dry side too. They do have an interesting drink menu with some good choices you don't get many places. read more

Our guilty pleasure = Junk Salad. Your life isn't complete until you've had it. We ask for all gyro meat, otherwise it's 1/2 gyro & 1/2 chicken (chicken is quite bland compared to the gyro meat). The peanut butter and jelly smoothie is seriously ridiculous as well! We love this place. read more

We was in town for a business meeting and asked about a good greek restaurant and Zingo's was recommended. We ordered off the menu; I had the large greek salad and the Zingo gyro and let me tell you they was great, the greek salad was fresh and crisp and it was loaded with feta cheese. Zingo's is a solid lunch spot. I've only tried the Mediterranean Junk Salad but it's too good to try anything else. It has gyro meat, chicken and a variety of vegetables. It's extremely filling too. We went to Zingo's as the result of having read favorable reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed! Having eaten a lot of Middle Eastern food in Dearborn and the surrounding Detroit area, we were not planning on being impressed; however, the Gyro meat, alone, at this restaurant is worth a rave review! The wait staff were helpful and very pleasant and the options were varied and imaginative. We were there at lunch and my husband had the lamb gyro and the hummus (from their pick two menu for $8.75) and I had the chicken tawook sandwich with the chicken rice soup (same two-fer menu). We thought our lunches had good value in that they were tasty, a good sized portion and freshly made. This will definitely be a return destination!! read more

Two stars today~ normally I'd give 5. Manager with a chip on her shoulder. :/ We love Zingo's and frequent it at least 3 times a month. My family and I go there for dinner, lunch dates with friends and coworkers and take-out often. Zingo's isn't cheap, but it is worth every penny and the staff has been friendly and exceptional...except for today. Today I had lunch with 4 friends(all of our checks each around $12-15 dollars). After my $15 lunch I ordered two additional coffees for another $5. I was pouring my coffee and ask the lady behind the counter for some almond milk. I am vegan and every time I have ordered coffee in the past, one of the ladies just hands me a carton of almond milk and I pour about two teaspoons in my coffee(just like I do at Paneras). Today this particular lady said "Yes but there will be an upcharge". I had already paid for my coffee and did not want to get back in line to pay for my CREAMER. Besides, I had never been informed in the past that creamer was extra and had never been charged. I informed the lady of this and she informed me that she was the manager and that they charge extra for creamer if it is almond milk. And honestly, it wasn't the money, I was already $20 in on lunch...it was the principle. She refused to give me the creamer and I walked away. Also 3 of us at our table wanted to purchase the vegan cupcakes to take home.When I asked if they were going to bring anymore out , they said "No they haven't been iced yet." Well, we were there for another hour after that and the cupcakes never made it to the cooler. It seemed to me that this particular manager did not want to be bothered with us today. And she wasn't worried about Zingo's losing money due to her laziness and poor customer service. Because Zingo's did lose money today. Our next lunch date will be at Stella's. Hire a new manager, Zingo's. The young lady who worked during lunch today on April 30 does not care about making customers happy, nor does it appear that she cares if Zingo's keeps their loyal customers. read more

I mean Zingo's is hands down the best. I have lived in perrysburg for nine years and never went here. Then this year I decided to go and that was the BEST decision! I now go every single week. The BEST is the junk salad. In this salad you get gyro meat and chicken, olives, feta, chickpeas, tomatoes all covered with a delicious dressing. The gyro's are fantastic as well, you can get them original in a pita or "zingo's style" which is grilled and made a bit crunchy. The hummus is the hands down best I've ever had. This is a MUST STOP if you are in the Perrysburg area. read more

Definitely hit or miss. Today a solid miss. Person taking my order said that the soup of the day was Italian vegetable and it was "excellent". I ordered a cup and a side of veggie grape leaves. Well the soup was Campbell's Minestrone right out of the can and the grape leaves ice cold. Have had excellent soups in the past there like the curried carrot and the Greek tomato with orzo.
