They were able to seat me for my pedi right away but had to wait about five minutes before starting my pedi, which they did let me know ahead of time. I love this place! I'm so picky about getting my nails done, especially gels, but Zio nails continues to impress me. They do such a good job and it seems that they schedule their appointments in a way that ensures the room is never too crowded so you always get a calming, spa like experience rather than the typical rushed nail salon experience. I had sent a message previous to coming since the reviews were so great! I wanted to know if they have LED light for gel and the bases that do not wreck your nails.. I got a great email back from Jenni (I think spelling) saying yes with the prices which are great compared to other places! Finally got a chance to come in and see for myself! They are so nice here and want you to be happy! Jenni also explained their sanitation which another review mentions and is still the same. It was a great atmosphere, easy listening music and food network on the tv! I'm pretty picky when it comes to where I go and I will definitely return. I went here for the first time today and loved it! At 3 pm on a Tuesday it was very empty and I didn't have to wait at all. I got a gel manicure ($30) and an eyebrow wax ($10). Neither had a cash discount but I saw that a basic pedicure or manicure are a couple dollars off if you use cash instead of credit. I went there today for a regular mani/pedi.I had an appointment which was done last minute. I came in about 10 minutes late and they still took me and was very nice about it. They are very clean and used a new set of tools for each customer. The technician was also very polite and gentle. I didn't feel rushed at all and I also liked the fact that they did the mani after the pedi. Yes, you are there longer because of that, but at least your pedi was already dry by the time they got to your hands. I would definitely go back and refer them to all my friends. read more

This place had a lot of positive elements, they are clean and use new tools on each customer which is a plus; however, customer service is horrible. I asked for a 10 minute massage and they said they didn't have time because they had other customers, mind you there were no other customers waiting. I told them that I was also a customer so what happens to my service? Which went ignored. It's disappointing to say I will not be coming back or recommending friends and family. Seriously what a great nail salon, I live in Englewood and found this place when I had to get my car serviced at Honda. They are friendly and work together as a team. They have a great selection of regular colors and gel colors. They don't charge extra for the for the pedicure foot bath. They have three scents of foot baths to choose from. The massage chairs work and helps make you feel relaxed. They clean their tools which come out of a packaging. Came across this nail shop few months ago and gave it a try and now only come here! The place is very friendly and very clean. I like that all the files are disposal and not reused. Tools all come out from sterilized pouches. I usually get the gel polishes and love it! Lasts well over two weeks. Keratin gloves at the end is also very nice touch-also disposal. Kind of upset. I have been coming here since they have been open. I have noticed the increase in clientele. Before, they were pretty good about scheduling appointments and if they didn't have enough time for you. They would tell you sorry but we can't do a particular service because they have another customer. It's upsetting to know that Jin is no longer here. She was very on-top and punctual about that. I am sitting here in the pedicure chair now as I am typing this review. Danny usually does a great job. However, my appointment was scheduled at 4:00 PM, and he started my service at 4:15 PM. There was another customer in the chair and he just started to begin to do her nails. This is the second time this has happened. There was another time where another technician needed assistance. It took away from my service. They do a really good job here. My only thing I would say is please don't try to overbook , or if you have a walk-in kindly tell the customer that you already have had another appointment booked. You would only be able to do a certain service. I am disappointed. There is a language barrier so Danny the manager wouldn't understand. I was never offered a percentage off or anything. I really enjoyed it plus like all the reviewers said - it is super sanitary. I def enjoyed the pedi more than the mani. This place is cozy and cute and the best part is I wasn't rushed. They didn't overbook and actually refused a few clients because they were busy/closing. For the manicure, they put on anti aging keratin gloves + loved my nail shape. I do like coming here, however if my feet do not feel smooth after a $25 pedicure it is not because I need a $60 spa pedicure or a $10 callus removal; it is because the technician should actually use more than few strokes of a pumice stone. I've been to countless places where they could be packed and 10 people walk in ant they tell everyone 10 minutes, and then rush you the paying customer who had an appt. So I was in the area and looked up a place that does nice nail art and found Zio... I walk in with my mother and we have natural long nails and so I tell the lady we are getting a regular mani and pedi, no gel. She tells us to pick our color and so I tell the lady that I want a design I saw and she says that's only gel so I'm like fine I'll just choose something simple which was a nail halfway painted red with 3 dots on the side (just dots) and she says no that's with gel just because it's going to take too long to dry , I accept and then just decide to do a full on red nail. We proceed to sit down to do our pedis first and ask if the massage prices are just for full body or also feet and they say nicely feet also so me and my mom say we both want 20 min massage on our feet 10 minutes each foot and let me tell you all three nail techs start talking in their language laughing and with a discouraged look and all we understood was massage so it was safe to say they were talking about us. Anyways we get our pedis and when I go to get my nails I tell her I want the red nail with the French line and she just totally told the guy to finish me up and she'll finish my mom smdh .... so if your getting gel I recommend but if you have natural long nails and want a design DO NOT EVEN BOTHER! read more

The place is not bad so I am not going to lie. The prices are good and occasionally you get a skilled person to do your nails. But I am very disappointed with my experience today. I got this guy who was very rough, impolite and finished my pedicure in 15 minutes. When i asked him to be gentle - he shouted "F***K". The owner/manager heard but but did not seem to mind. This is the reason I needed to write the review. I can understand that you may get an employee who is not always as skillful or polite but for the owner or manager to be supportive of that behavior is unacceptable. read more

i have been going to the same nail place for a while now but moved and it's a bit far to travel to so i yelped some nail places around my area and landed here. the reviews are pretty on point- i started with my eyebrows and lip waxing- the young woman was friendly, quick and efficient. i then go to get my pedicure and this is where they lost a star from me - the guy barely spoke two words to me and just didn't seem that friendly. the water was also just on the brink of luke warm which isn't that enjoyable. the pedicure itself was nice, i liked that i was able to pick between lemon, green tea and lavender.. the foot massage also was good, it didn't seem rushed like a lot of other places feel. i ended with a gel manicure, they have SO many colors to choose from... the older gentleman that did my nails was friendly and personable. i liked the music they played here. overall i had a good experience and will be coming back for sure. i highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality work! read more
