In over 30 years of living in Florida, these are the best bagels I have had here!! Everything is made fresh. We love the everything bagels, chive cream cheese, lox cream cheese and the egg salad was delicious! Not to mention the chocolate chip muffins go fast in our house. I saw reviews about timing and service issues I hope that doesn't deter people. I have not experienced that and it is a local business getting started so I hope those people go back and give it another try. Zio's New York Bagels are really great. The food is wonderful and tastes fresh every day. I've been a couple times now and everyone is very friendly and helpful, great service. Gives off the ambiance of a nice mom and pop shop. Also the price is very reasonable too and they support first responders. read more

Unless you truly know what bagels should be--and about the only way you could is if you're old enough to have lived in a city where old country Jewish owners worked their bagel shops every day, their livelihoods dependent upon their product--you have been deceived by all the faux "authentic" bagels you've experienced. These at Zio's come the closest in taste, texture and authenticity. We'll never see the old bagels again (too many factors beginning with the degenerated quality of all ingredients in this country), but at least we can count on Zio's to present us the only link to that glorious past. Considering it was their first week of opening, I had a smooth experience. The young man at the counter was friendly, got my order right, and best of all, the bagel hit the spot. After trying a number of bagel spots claiming to be NY or NJ bagels, I've been disappointed over and over. Well, finally that has changed thanks to Zio's. First , I tried an Everything bagel with nothing on it to really get a sense of the bagel. After passing the test, I ordered 1 with veggie cream cheese, and 1 with Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. Both bagels traveled well as it was a 20 minute drive home. They did not lose their chew. My kids and I shared both bagels. The bagels were fresh, the outside had the right pull and chew, while the inside gave you the soft doughy goodness. After reaching a long awaited sense of satisfaction, we decided that we will return the next day. Next day we went with my fav, Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese. There was a good amount of meat on there. I took 1 star off for two reasons. On both days, I ordered an Everything bagel with nothing on it and not toasted or anything. I like to enjoy a bagel without any dressings. The seasoning on the Everything was burnt on both days. Toasting those would not be fun. The second thing is, for. NY style bagel, I think it's lacking a little volume. They are a good size in terms of diameter, but felt that they were lacking height. Nonetheless, I'll be returning. This might be my bagel spot. read more

Have been here twice. First time they were very disorganized and unsure how to make what I ordered. A week later they were better. I do like their bagels...chewy and freshly baked. However, i do not like their cream cheese spreads. I tried 2 of them and both were bland and didn't seem to be a good quality cream cheese. read more

I got chicken sandwiches on Kaiser rolls for me and my wife. Pretty good. We previously got a bacon and egg on roll and it was excellent.

This was the second time I've been here. The first visit was opening weekend and there was a lot going on. The wait was a little long. My bagel had almost no cream cheese on it. I ordered the cheddar everything bagel and once it had cream cheese, it was really good. Today they were definitely less busy, but it was still a lengthy wait. I received the incorrect bagel and had another wait to get the correct bagel. The cashier said they now had 30 orders they were working on. When I received the second bagel, it was burnt. I couldn't tell if it was the cheddar everything bagel I ordered. After waiting twice, I didn't want to wait again so unfortunately I just tossed it. They did want to know why so I let them know it was really burnt and they apologized. However did not offer another one. I left and went elsewhere. I was disappointed as the first visit, the was good. I really hope the establishment can improve. read more

Ordered a classic bacon, egg, and cheese on an egg bagel and it was amazing. Brought me straight back to being a kid on Long Island. Bacon wasn't chewy and the egg was perfect. First off food is 5-Star!!! Best bagel I've had in Florida. However service sucks. Staff seemed overwhelmed when it wasn't that busy. Screwed up my order by giving it to the wrong person. Then had to ask me what I ordered since I waited so long. Got home and they gave me the wrong food! Ugh! So annoying. But, when I bit into the (wrong) bagel - omg!
