This looks so good. Looks like Pizza and bagel hybrid

Right near my neighborhood and the most amazing gourmet NY style bagel I've had. love the variety of freshly baked bagels and their customized cream cheese! We ordered the Cinnamon Crunch bagels with honey almond cream cheese and cheddar bacon with plain. We can't wait to try others. Highly recommend.

Fresh bagels made daily. Coffee, cappuccinos, and lattes available with milk substitutions. Plenty of seating inside. Highly recommend making sandwiches with the variety of bagels. And try the different cream cheese spreads! Great customer service! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a New York bagel sandwich - yum!

    Cheers to you, George Costanza!

Soooo many bagel flavors... with breakfast sandwiches and wraps... all made from scratch daily on premises... and Seinfeld on loop on a corner tv. That's gold, Jerry, gold! I first found Zio's when I arrived for a near doctor appointment way too early-and breakfast seemed like a great way to pass the time. I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I liked my toasted sesame bagel with butter so much the first time (to go), I came back three weeks later-and had the toasted jalapeño and cheese with butter, inside. They were both so fresh and filling-I could easily make this a habit. I like that they have a soda fountain (Diet Coke on ice is my bff) and I love that one of the staffers stopped by my table to check on me-and even wrapped up my leftovers (it's a big bagel!) They serve breakfast all day and also have a large lunch menu, from salads and burgers, to cheesesteaks and good ol' grilled cheese. They also have a large selection of deli sandwiches and specialty wraps. I can't wait to come back later in the day and try the rest of the menu. It was bustling-but not hectic. I wish could have hung out longer and soaked up the easygoing morning vibes longer. The workers were friendly and efficient. Parking was a breeze (it's in a plaza along Bruce B Downs, just south of Wiregrass Mall) Oh! And it has a great backstory! (I'll include it in the photos) See ya there!

This was at 9am!!!!! 9am! Not 2 or 3 9am and they had 3 people in line that included me.

So I tried, well attempted to try this place out once before and although I arrived early they were out of bagels. So being the foodie I am I decided to give it another shot now that they have been open a while. They did hand bagels this time but again out of several and it was still early. Now I ordered a BEC, Lox and a cream cheese bagel. Service was ok, I know New Yorkers and Jersey folk can be rude but I've never experienced it at the deli. Not even in the city. So I get my order and this is where I know they aren't NY style. A New Yorker knows that a bagel is second to the spread. You have the in between you either lick or scoop with your finger because it's going to get everywhere. Well this didn't have that. It was like we are living in the 20's and cream cheese is being rationed. With flavors, presentation and all a 4 out of 10. Now onto the bacon egg and cheese, you know what I'll save the explanation, they lacked the egg and bacon again nothing like a New York bagel. The eggs and bacon went on vacation and the bagel stayed behind. This was 3 out of 10, the lox was 6 out of 10 but again don't claim to be a NY deli even Einstein bagel is better and that's saying a lot.

Steak and egg wrap- so good!!

Found my new favorite taste of home in Tampa. I've had Zios twice already, both times so so delicious. The first time I tried a classic bacon egg and cheese on the jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was truly unreal. The bagel was so fresh and soft and the ratio of everything was perfect. Next time I tried a steak and egg wrap and that really sealed the deal for me. The steak was thinly sliced and had amazing flavor, yet the wrap was so simple but in the best way. Honorable mention for the double chocolate muffin I got for my picky toddler, I kid you not probably the best muffin I've ever had. Also shoutout to the employees, everyone is so friendly even when pretty busy. I will certainly be back many more times. The deli is Jersey girl approved! Highly recommend

This place definitely reminds me of a New York bagel shop, but without the stress. I've never seen or had a bacon cheddar bagel before, so I went with that one and boy was it delicious. The bagel was the perfect texture, and they added the perfect amount of cream cheese as well. Everyone working was super friendly and outgoing and made the place feel more homey. I will definitely be back to try more bagels!

I was at Flatwoods for my weekly bike ride when the rain started, so I looked for a breakfast spot--and found this place recommended by Google. It wasn't very busy on a rainy Friday morning, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered a freshly toasted blueberry bagel with almond honey cream cheese (plus a cup of coffee--they have plenty of great options) and, of course, picked up a few bagels to go. By lunchtime, the restaurant started to fill up. The whole place is clean, quiet, and welcoming. The sweet blueberry bagel matched perfectly with the strong coffee. I can't wait to try the cinnamon crunch with salted butter, as recommended by the staff.

For Sunday breakfast, I wanted to have a bagel, so I decided to visit Zio's New York Bagel & Deli. Upon entering the deli, I was pleased to see many people enjoying their breakfast, which added to the lively atmosphere. After discussing with the server to find the best bagel option, I decided to order The Western White Wrap Bagel along with a hot coffee. The service was prompt, and within 10 minutes, I received my order. The bagel was delicious, made with ham and freshly toasted to perfection. It was hot, tasty, and truly finger-licking good. In addition to their variety of bagels, Zio's New York Bagel & Deli offers Boar's Head sandwiches and a range of other breakfast and lunch options. I highly recommend this place for a satisfying breakfast or lunch experience.

I arrived around 2:20 p.m. and was let in by a worker at the front door, who told me they were closing shortly and suggested I head to the deli first if that was what I wanted. Once I walked in, however, a cashier yelled to me that they were closed. I was a little confused because I had just been let in by a worker who knew I was coming inside. From there, the experience felt a bit chaotic. There were quite a few people in the store, and I felt like the workers were very displeased by my presence. I honestly felt like I was a bother. I completely understand that I arrived close to closing, so I tried to be respectful of their time and rushed through the store to grab a few items. I had driven an hour to get there, so I wanted to at least make the most of the trip. When I went to check out, I initially got in one line, and the cashier was finishing up with the customer already there and directed me to another line, so I followed her instructions. I had a basket with my items and wasn't sure if I was supposed to empty it myself. There wasn't an obvious place to leave the empty basket, and the cashier never indicated that she would take it from me. I apologized and explained that it was my first time there. She told me that next time I should come during the week so I could browse more. As I was leaving, I noticed so many people trying to enter the store and being turned away because it was now past closing. That made me think Mazzaro's may want to reconsider its Saturday hours. They are clearly a very popular and well-known store, yet being open from only 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and being closed on Sundays makes it difficult for people who work typical Monday-Friday, full-time hours to visit. I take responsibility for not checking the hours before making the drive, and I understand that the employees were probably ready to go home. However, I still think there is a difference between enforcing closing time and making a customer feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, I did not feel warmly greeted or welcomed during my visit, and it put a damper on the entire experience.

Got the roast beef club on cuban bread, added mayo and pickles, and it was toasted to perfection. The roast beef was so rare and tender, the bacon was one of the best bacons I've ever had (insanely crispy but not oily, and maintained it's crispiness the entire meal even though I'm such a slow eater). The tomatoes and lettuce were firm--didn't squeeze out of the sandwich or make a mess. And I'm usually not a fan of pickles but it was so fresh and added a flavor to break up the meat + bread taste! The service was phenomenal. It's a family-owned restaurant and everyone is so nice. The guy who took my order was so patient and helpful (I was having major decision paralysis). The vibe is clean, spacious, cute, and super homey / themed. It's also part grocery with German bevs, snacks, and dried goods (and also fresh goods behind the counter and on the menu ofc). Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won't be returning. I stopped in around 3:00 p.m. and was happy to see it wasn't busy. I went to the deli counter, waited for someone to serve me, ordered my chicken salad, grabbed a soda and chips, and headed to the open register. As I walked up, the cashier called another customer over ahead of me. I waited while he spent several minutes deciding whether to pay cash or by card because of the 4% card fee. I continued standing there with my three items, to the point that I actually set them down and debated walking out. Then, instead of helping me, the cashier motioned for an entire family to come to the registereven though I had been standing there waiting before they arrived. After that, she waved over another customer, and I had to wait while a mother and her two teenagers decided which desserts they wanted. Again, I stood there patiently. When it was finally my turn, there was no greeting, no "thank you for waiting," nothing. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have a pickup order?" I said no. She then motioned for my chicken salad container, saying she needed it. I placed it on the scale and set my other items on the counter. The cashier then asked, "Are you okay?" I simply shook my head because, honestly, I wasn't. Instead of recognizing why I was frustrated, she continued talking, making comments, and escalating the interaction rather than simply ringing me up. At that point, I asked, "Do you want to argue? Do you want me to go back and forth with you?" I then asked who the manager was. She pointed to a woman beside her, who identified herself as the owner. I asked if she could ring me up instead. Even then, the cashier continued making comments. It was only after she continued engaging me that my voice became louder in response. Rather than addressing the repeated comments from her employee or asking what had happened, the owner immediately said, "Do not raise your voice at my employee." That response was disappointing. There was no concern for the customer experience, no apology for repeatedly being skipped in line, and no attempt to resolve the situation. There was also no acknowledgment that the interaction had been escalated by the cashier's continued remarks before I ever raised my voice. The irony is that I have spent a significant amount of money catering from Frankie's Deli over the years because my customers love the food. Good food will bring people in once. Great customer service keeps them coming back. Sadly, this experience ended that relationship for me. There are plenty of places with great food, but respect and customer service matter just as much. One final thought: this is Florida not NY. Hospitality goes a long way. The aggressive, dismissive attitude I experienced isn't what I expect when supporting a local business. I won't be back.
