    Veg Samosa

Honestly I was fairly disappointed to say the least. Service: staff was kind but the service was slower than most restaurants I've been too. It was 7pm on a weekend night and it wasn't very busy. My appetizers were my LAST dishes to come out BUT my entrees came out quick. You do have to order either at the front or using the QR code and just make sure to write down everything that you order to prevent mix ups. I had to remind the staff of my appetizers even after had eaten my main entrees. It's a nicely decorated place with plenty of seating. You can absolutely have a date night or celebration here. Food: the veg samosas were delicious but only one of my orders came with their dipping sauce while the other did not even after they arrived very late. The chicken tikka masala was delicious don't get me wrong but it bowl did not have much chicken and I felt like I was mainly eating a bowl of sauce. Thankfully I had ordered their garlic naan to make it worth it. I am intrigued tho as every other place that serves chicken tikka masala typically provided rice on the side so this was definitely a first. The chicken biryani was delicious though I have to say. Lots of rice and plenty of chicken which was nice. One thing that threw me off was that they provided me bottled water as I sat down without telling me they charge for it! In my 20 years of dining in the US, I've never encountered a restaurant that charges for water and they definitely should let people know that they charge for water because at that point I might as well pay for a different drink like a soda. Overall, be-careful when dinning here. The area is really bad and make sure to keep track of what you order. Extremely disappointing.

New Indian restaurant in town [Sacramento CA] A friend said that we should try this new Indian restaurant. First of all, locating the place was not the easiest because there is no clear sign directly leading to the restaurant so if you see IHOP just know you are at the correct parking area. Inside is clean with lots of seating including booths and tables in the main dining room. This is a counter-service restaurant so after looking through the menu you must place your order at the register area. You will pay at end of your meal (also at the counter). I'm not very familiar with Indian food and the menu has a wide variety. They have 3 binders (menus). I think they must make more because there were 3 of us and we already took 2 of those binders. I chose Butter Chicken because that's all the Indian food I know that's tried and true with me. I asked for zero spice. While it was very good it was definitely spicy for me. Next time I may need to request for negative zero spice. Rice was complimentary so thank you. I had to ask for glasses of water at the end of our meal. Apparently, they don't automatically serve glasses of waters! First time I've heard from any restaurant. We were given bottled waters. Okaaaay. It was nice catching up with friends though... this is a fairly new restaurant and the interior aesthetics were nice. I believe they will offer buffet soon. Easy access from the I-80 freeway. Tried this new restaurant and it did not disappoint at all. The food was so flavorful, authentic, and clearly made with care. I had the dhaba paneer with naan, which was rich, satisfying, and full of delicious flavor, and my husband had the biryani, which was equally amazing. Everything we ordered was so good, and it's always exciting to find a new spot that actually delivers on taste and authenticity. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

This new restaurant in town is exciting. Their Biryanis are pretty damn close to how it's made in Hyderabad. Authentic aroma all over the food. The ambience is quiet and pleasant. Their menu has some unique dishes that are flavorful and true to the taste. Must try are Nizami chicken dum biryani, Kaju chciken fry, Goat Haleem, Orugallu kodi pulao, Irani chai

Ziyafath's Hyderabadi Restaurant 3830 Northgate Blvd Unit C, Sacramento, CA 95834 If you have been waiting for REAL Hyderabadi flavors to hit Sacramento... the wait is officially OVER. I stopped by Ziyafath's Hyderabadi Restaurant and even though they've only recently opened, the place was absolutely PACKED. Catering orders flying out the door. Non-stop traffic. The energy inside told me everything I needed to know -- Sacramento has already discovered this gem! Let me tell you about the food... Gobi Manchurian - Crispy, bold, perfectly coated, and exploding with flavor. The balance of heat and tanginess was on another level. Not your typical version -- this was elevated. Vijayawada Brinjal Biryani - I have NEVER had biryani like this in my life. The spice blend they use is something you just don't find easily. Deep, aromatic, layered flavors that hit you in waves. Every bite tasted authentic, rich, and unforgettable. Honestly? Nobody in Sacramento comes anywhere close when it comes to this kind of taste. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. You can taste the authenticity. This isn't watered-down flavor. This is bold, traditional, properly executed Hyderabadi cuisine. And the service? Absolutely top tier. Sikandar is an amazing manager -- welcoming, attentive, and running a tight ship even during peak rush with catering going out nonstop. BIG NEWS: They mentioned a BUFFET is coming soon. If the regular menu tastes like this, the buffet is going to be insane. I already know it's going to be one of the hottest buffet spots in Natomas. Sacramento... this is not a place you "try someday." This is a feast you DO NOT want to miss. If you love authentic spice, real biryani, and bold South Indian flavor -- go experience Ziyafath's Hyderabadi Restaurant for yourself. Trust me... your taste buds will thank you.

I stumbled into this little gem through Yelp with my daughter for our monthly mother/daughter date. I didn't know they just opened for business for a few weeks but I'm very glad I went there bc the service was superb and the food was delicious! What attracted me to go were the decorative pictures on the wall. We had the butter chicken which had a perfect kick and was very flavorful. Their garlic naan was also made to perfection. The texture and garlic were on point. Can't wait to go back and try their other menu items. Definitely go and give them a try for Indian food.

Delicious food and very authentic Hyderabadi taste. Masala Chai was on point. I hope they arrange Ramadan Iftaar buffets which will be a hit.

Love their food! It's a new restaurant in town right behind IHOP. Decor is simple and prices are amazing! Fed a group of 8 people under $200 and we ordered food to eat and to take with us! Portions are decent sized and dishes are delicious. Definitely worth trying in the Natomas area!

This time during our dine in we had the most negative experience at this place. We ordered choley bhaturey, 2 pieces of Samosa and the tandoori platter for the dinner. The samosa were very average, the choley bhaturey were good but when the tandoori platter arrived it looked loaded with red color, upon tasting the meat tasted and smelled bad, also the flavors were totally off. We raised the concern with the server and mentioned have had only one bite the whole thing was untouched, their solution to the situation was no refund, they can instead give a curry in exchange which was barely $10-$12, while the platter costed whopping $28.50 plus taxes, which we didn't accept and left the place. This place has a very basic ambience but I always rated this place well due to consistency in taste of their vegetarian food, and always ordered with instructions to go easy on oil. We have decided to never visited this place and would not recommend it either and if you are all this place, please avoid their non-vegetarian dishes.
