Came here with a group eight people on a Thursday night. The place is inviting, comfortable, and we were immediately greeted by staff. We came at 6pm and it wasn't busy. You can smell the aroma of curry as soon as you walk in. It was ala carte, and I ordered the goat curry. Very tender meat the mild spice level was just my blend. The hubby ordered the same with a high level of spiciness. Our friend. an expert on Indian food, ordered this huge pancake-like bread and some dips that were utterly yummy. Yes, she shared with the group as were all in awe of what she ordered. A friend shared his samosas and it was spicy for me, however, very flavorful. Definitely a place to be if you're craving for good Indian food.

This Indian restaurant in Natomas specializes in Andra cuisine, which is known for its variety of high quality spices. We have been regulars here since we discovered this place. I love the variety of Biryanis they offer with wide variety of tiffin combos, by tiffin here means combination of dosa, vada and idlis. My favorite curry here is natukodu (free range chicken) curry, mutton curry and amongst the biryanis my favorites are natukodu chicken biryani, mutton tongues biryani and jackfruit biryani. They also have some good starters like chicken lollipops, chicken Manchurian and variety of tandoori platters. They also run Wednesday specials where you can get 2 plus one Biryani offer. Please note, spicy can be very spicy here, so if you can't handle spice go mild or medium. The ambience is decent and service is good. I would highly recommend this place.

This Indian food was so great! We ordered take out and got chicken korma, goat biryani, lamb saag, and naan. Everything was absolutely amazing. All of the dishes had a little kick but much at all. I don't like spicy and it was very manageable. The staff seemed to be friendly, as we ordered the wrong naan and they let us switch it out with no problem. There is plenty of parking in the shared parking lot. It also comes with white rice for each dish, which not every Indian restaurant does. I would definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to go back to try different items on the menu. The place is pretty quiet and there is plenty of seating.

I door dashed some food from here for lunch right when this spot opened. It came pretty quickly, which is good because i am usually starving by noon. When the food arrived i was sad to realize that the food was somehow all cold. Easy fix for a microwave owner, but i just wished it came hot from the bag. I ordered butter chicken, white rice, tandoori chicken , raita, and garlic naan. After microwaving, the food was good...and i know it sounds gross, but a day later even better. Naan a little burnt, but i expect very little effort from restaurants when it comes to door dashed orders. I think ill try to sit down and eat next time!

I'm visiting Sac from SoCal and stumbled on this place.. if only we had Indian Food Cuisine this good down south!!! The service and food are perfect!

We came here right when they opened for the lunch buffet! We got first dip at everything. It felt wonderful haha. There were a lot of variety of food to choose from, I liked most of the food. I love that there's spice in some of the food, you can't find that everywhere! The curries were delicious! The mint chutney was tasty with a bit of spice. The service was a bit slow but staff were friendly. We got a bit of stares which was a bit awkward lol but we were the only ones there for a good 15 mins. Would probably go again whenever craving Indian food! It's such a good price @ $18.99!

Tried the buffet recently with my family, and we enjoyed everything. Good vegetarian options such as Vada, Baby Corn 65, and Paneer dishes. They had really good dessert options too, such as the mango soft serve! Looking forward to coming back for one of their dosa nights.

I ordered here on Thanksgiving as it was one of the few restaurants open. Their online ordering didn't work for me so I called it in. We ordered two paneer dishes to go, and paid an extra $5 (per entree) to get them thali style which included rice, naan, a few more sides. I thought the food was really great, portions were huge and they were also kind enough to provide extra plates and utensils for us. These two entrees (plus the appetizer) fed the three of us on thanksgiving plus gave me two more meals of leftovers. I would absolutely come back.

Dinner for 2 on a Friday night around 6pm. Open, spacious dining area, well-lit, music videos playing on the tv. We ordered the samosa, lamb biryani (medium), chicken chettinad (spicy), naan, and a mango lassi. One of the few restaurants for when you ask for spice, they actually make it spicy! Even the medium was a dangerous level! Nonetheless, food was delicious! Lamb and chicken were tender and well-seasoned. Some of the best samosas I've had. Service could've been better - they didn't come check on us after our food was served.

We moved to Natomas in April and still in the discovery phase of the area. We finally found through Yelp, a Great Indian restaurant. Really met our cravings for Indian food. The food was so good that we forgot to take photos when food was brought in, hence the photos of us in the middle trying to indulge the scrumptious spread. Our servers was really friendly and didn't make us wait long for the food. My wife loved the decor and atmosphere. The lovely Indian tune playing created the whole Indian dinner Experience.

I'm beginning to notice a pattern: these aren't cookie-cutter restaurants. They have personality, a playful spirit, and the feeling that some people actually enjoy creating places where people want to gather and belong. Imagine a classic neighborhood diner that wandered into an arcade, picked up some incredible art, and decided everyone should just be happy. The staff are genuinely welcoming, the portions are generous, the comfort food gives solace, and breakfast lovers can rejoice because it's served all day. Whether you're there for a hearty meal or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Roc & Sol has earned its loyal following for good reason. A special note on Janah and Alicia (pictured), who made our family breakfast feel like more than just a meal. With effortless expertise, warm conversation, and infectious energy, these adrenaline junkies created the kind of experience that keeps people wanting more. They seemed to feed off the positive energy they shared with their guests--and gave even more in return. If Twisted Track Station surprised me by the genius of Crazy Matt, his family, and his people, Roc & Sol convinced me it wasn't a fluke. Sacramento needs more restaurants with this much heart.

The restaurant itself was already VERY loud, with customers talking, laughing, and enjoying themselves. We actually appreciated the atmosphere because, as parents of a toddler, it made us feel more comfortable dining there as a family. Shortly after receiving our food, my toddler became upset and started crying. The OWNER approached my husband and asked him to REMOVE OUR CHILD FROM THE RESTAURANT. My husband, being the respectful person he is, complied and took her outside. At first, I was confused about why he had suddenly left until he called me and explained what the owner had told him. We had JUST received our food. At that point, I asked our server to remove the untouched items from our bill. I made it clear that I was more than willing to pay for anything we had already touched or consumed, but I was not comfortable continuing to give my business to an establishment whose owner had just asked my husband to remove our toddler. The owner then approached me, and I explained how inappropriate and upsetting I found the situation, especially considering how loud the restaurant already was. I could barely hear my own daughter over the overall noise in the restaurant. Her response was that "people were looking at me," which is why she asked my husband to take our daughter OUTSIDE. That response was extremely disappointing. She is a TODDLER. Toddlers sometimes cry. We were not allowing her to run around the restaurant, destroy anything, or behave dangerously. She was simply upset and crying. If noise was truly the issue, then why was our child singled out in an already extremely loud restaurant? What makes the experience even more uncomfortable is that we already felt we were greeted rudely by our first server. I do want to recognize the gentleman who was calling names for the tables. He was very kind and welcoming, and I appreciated his professionalism. As for the owner, I am extremely disappointed that someone who owns a restaurant would treat paying customers and their child this way. Families with young children deserve to know what kind of environment they are walking into. If children, or the normal behavior that occasionally comes with having toddlers are not welcome in your establishment, that should be clearly communicated to customers before they sit down and order food. We will not be returning, and I hope no other family is made to feel as unwelcome and embarrassed as ours was today.

We enjoyed both plates, specially enjoyed the complexity of flavors in the chicken and waffle with the fig syrup. Will say portions were huge. Here's how everything rated: * Shrimp Po' Boy: 3.75/5 * Double Cheeseburger: 3.5/5 * Mac & Cheese: 4.5/5 * Fried Cauliflower: 3.5/5 The shrimp had a great crust, and that romesco sauce with the buttery fried cauliflower was seriously addictive. The burger had a nice kick thanks to the hot link tucked inside, and the mac & cheese? So creamy and cheesy--definitely a standout. The lemonade leaned more tart than sweet, and the Arnold Palmer was refreshingly solid. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Right away, Mama Goose (the waitress confessed this as her nickname) greeted me with a no nonsense and friendly attitude. This is a person you would hope to greet you, and at the same time you would never want to cross. The interior was very throwback to a time when this diner likely first experienced its hay-day several decades ago. Everything was clean, and the bathroom was so big, it was the size of my first apartment in San Francisco. Water refills were fast, and I ordered an omelette with no meat. It was very tasty, but the potatoes really stole the show with its perfectly crisp and seasoned portions. The prices are very fair/affordable. I felt welcomed here, just like I was visiting a friend in their home. It is clear that regular patrons keep coming back, and all are remembered by the staff. I highly recommend this experience!

The crispy tater tots on the side really set it off. It's also my son's favorite place to get a waffle, although I didn't get a picture before he dug in! The waitresses are always warm and friendly. They don't just provide good service--they understand true hospitality and make us feel welcome every time. Love all the Rooster decorations too ... definitely gives an old diner vibe with amazing food.

We order the eggs Benedict with country potatoes, breakfast burger and breakfast tacos. It's always nice to be served breakfast and enjoy a place close to home. The potatoes were fried pieces of potato and garnished with a tablespoon of cooked peppers and onions. The burger was better with beef and pork, egg topper. The tacos tasted like cooked hamburger meat, not chorizo. It could be us, as our expectations were more in line with the Portland Oregon breakfast scene. Toasted Rooster is definitely a step up on those waffle and chain breakfast stops, put two steps behind the Portland breakfast scene. The thing that bothered me the most was the sales tax. They are charging sales tax as if they are in the City of Sacramento, not the county. The extra1% they charge I hope that the staff gets the $$

The food, service, and ambiance were all terrific and made for a comfortable, delicious experience we will be returning to soon. We had tried going there once before about 6 months ago, but the wait was too long for our schedule that day. Yesterday, our party of four showed up at 11, and the wait was only 10 minutes. Our server, Kristin, was amazing. She answered our questions perfectly and without hesitation; she was always there to refill iced tea and bring anything additional we needed - the service was flawless in every way. We were at a booth for four, and the booths are comfortable and clean. The layout of the restaurant is efficient, and perfect for the dining experience FSC is offering. And the food? Off the charts 5/5! I hadn't had pancakes in a long time, so I ordered the blueberry pancakes. The two pancakes were both massive and delicious. Fresh blueberries in the batter and on top, and they were perfectly ripe and flavorful. I can't envision anyone actually finishing all of it, but I was happy to take home leftovers. The pancakes were fluffy and light, among the best I have ever had. I also had a side of the house-cured bacon, which I requested crispy, and which arrived perfectly crispy and delicious. Mrs. K had the blue cheese burger and loved it. I was granted a taste, and I agreed. Juicy, prepared exactly as ordered, and served with exceptional fries that were crispy outside and soft inside. Our friends had various forms of eggs and bacon, including a dish FSC calls Beggin' For Bacon. The egg dishes looked perfect, and our friends confirmed they tasted as perfect as they looked. FSC gets a ton of 5-star reviews, and they deserve every one. We will be returning soon and often, and obviously, I highly recommend FSC for your next breakfast/lunch outing.

My daughter and I were in the area and hungry, I wanted to show her the restaurant I used to love. It's still amazing and the same quality and great service. Wait is a bit long, but worth it and the food comes out correct and quick. I had veg head omelette with sourdough toast and potatoes. My child had the Mickey Mouse pancake with fruit and eggs. 10/10 food and service. Thank you for making our brunch date out a smooth and delicious experience.
