Hands down, this hidden gem of a Indian restaurant has always been one of my favorites in North Sacramento. In particular for very flexible hours, combined with friendly service. The attentiveness is comparable to when someone wants to make sure that you feel appreciated. Water refills come without having to badger the waitstaff, and not only is the food stellar in generous portions, each entree comes with with unlimited rice refills. Not having to order a side of rice is a real money saver! If your appetite is bigger and you can manage to come during lunch time, there's an all you can eat buffet (of course there is, if it's on my radar it will for sure have a buffet). Went with a big group, we ended up sharing a bunch of diff dishes, but the food was really good. Started with pepper chicken which was crispy ish and tasted great. We also got chicken chettinad (great like usual), and Andhra chicken. Couldn't tell the difference between both besides Andhra being bone in. First time trying shrimp biryani and it was decent too. Came here with a group eight people on a Thursday night. The place is inviting, comfortable, and we were immediately greeted by staff. We came at 6pm and it wasn't busy. You can smell the aroma of curry as soon as you walk in. It was ala carte, and I ordered the goat curry. Very tender meat the mild spice level was just my blend. The hubby ordered the same with a high level of spiciness. Our friend. an expert on Indian food, ordered this huge pancake-like bread and some dips that were utterly yummy. Yes, she shared with the group as were all in awe of what she ordered. A friend shared his samosas and it was spicy for me, however, very flavorful. I love the variety of Biryanis they offer with wide variety of tiffin combos, by tiffin here means combination of dosa, vada and idlis. My favorite curry here is natukodu (free range chicken) curry, mutton curry and amongst the biryanis my favorites are natukodu chicken biryani, mutton tongues biryani and jackfruit biryani. They also have some good starters like chicken lollipops, chicken Manchurian and variety of tandoori platters. They also run Wednesday specials where you can get 2 plus one Biryani offer. This Indian food was so great! We ordered take out and got chicken korma, goat biryani, lamb saag, and naan. Everything was absolutely amazing. All of the dishes had a little kick but much at all. I don't like spicy and it was very manageable. The staff seemed to be friendly, as we ordered the wrong naan and they let us switch it out with no problem. There is plenty of parking in the shared parking lot. It also comes with white rice for each dish, which not every Indian restaurant does. I door dashed some food from here for lunch right when this spot opened. It came pretty quickly, which is good because i am usually starving by noon. When the food arrived i was sad to realize that the food was somehow all cold. Easy fix for a microwave owner, but i just wished it came hot from the bag. I ordered butter chicken, white rice, tandoori chicken , raita, and garlic naan. After microwaving, the food was good...and i know it sounds gross, but a day later even better. I went here for dinner on a weeknight. The place was not busy. The waiter immediately greeted me an offered any table you'd like. The place is really nice, clean decorated nicely and bright. I ordered Chicken Kadai -spicy; I can never say no to garlic naan and a soft drink. They do offer Indian soft drinks. The waiter listed them but did not mention their flavors, so I went with a Pepsi. Maybe next time? I was promptly served. The food smelled delicious, The naan was fresh with garlic aroma wafting. The chicken was delicious spiced and just right. We came here right when they opened for the lunch buffet! We got first dip at everything. It felt wonderful haha. There were a lot of variety of food to choose from, I liked most of the food. I love that there's spice in some of the food, you can't find that everywhere! The curries were delicious! The mint chutney was tasty with a bit of spice. We ordered takeout from Namaste Natomas, having dined here before. Unfortunately, this time was a big disappointment. I understand that takeout food won't be as hot or crispy as dining in--that's expected. However, they brought our order out as soon as we arrived, and by the time we got home (less than a 10-minute drive), everything was barely lukewarm, if not cold. We ordered the paneer dosa, but the paneer had absolutely no seasoning and tasted stale, as if it had been left uncovered in the fridge. The masala dosa was below average, and while the sambar had good flavor, it too was barely warm. I called to ask if our order had been seasoned because the food was extremely underwhelming. Instead of addressing my concerns, the staff immediately handed the phone to the manager, who refused to let me speak. Every time I tried to explain, she cut me off, insisting that "people like it this way" and repeatedly asking if I wanted a refund or a remake. When I tried to get a word in, asking, "Can you let the customer speak?" she just talked over me, saying this is how they serve their food and that they didn't understand what I wanted. This place is not too bad. I come here when I am too lazy to drive to midtown. My go to is the butter chicken and it satisfies my craving. Great service, authentic food. My only suggestion would be to remove the spiciness from your food or cut by at least half. Every entree that wasn't dessert or a condiment like yogurt was spicy at almost medium level, even though I ordered mild. Vegetable or meat plate was too spicy and I have been eating Indian food for more than 40 years at every Indian restaurant in Sacramento county. For those who enjoy spicy you can always offer more chili or add chili in your entrees but if your baseline is already spicy, well us poor people who can't tolerate it won't be able to enjoy it. . I ordered here on Thanksgiving as it was one of the few restaurants open. Their online ordering didn't work for me so I called it in. We ordered two paneer dishes to go, and paid an extra $5 (per entree) to get them thali style which included rice, naan, a few more sides. I thought the food was really great, portions were huge and they were also kind enough to provide extra plates and utensils for us. These two entrees (plus the appetizer) fed the three of us on thanksgiving plus gave me two more meals of leftovers. I would absolutely come back. read more

We ordered the samosa, lamb biryani (medium), chicken chettinad (spicy), naan, and a mango lassi. One of the few restaurants for when you ask for spice, they actually make it spicy! We moved to Natomas in April and still in the discovery phase of the area. We finally found through Yelp, a Great Indian restaurant. Really met our cravings for Indian food. The food was so good that we forgot to take photos when food was brought in, hence the photos of us in the middle trying to indulge the scrumptious spread. There aren't many weekday Indian buffets left in Roseville. Curry Leaves, India Oven, Bombay Cuisine & Indian Sweets used to offer buffets, but now only available on the weekends. There doesn't seem to be enough interest for these buffets to keep them available on the weekdays. I saw that this place offered a weekday buffet for 17.99 for lunch and thought I'd give it a try. Upon entering, I was disappointed that the buffet was really limited as far as variety. There were a total of 16 trays on two steam tables. There was also a small condiment bar next to the buffet tables. The first table was vegetables and the second mostly chicken and lamb. The vegetable side wasn't very appealing to me. Egg rolls, onion pakora, cut green beans, vegetable biryani, sambar, butter paneer, etc. The meat side had the typical lamb and chicken curry, butter chicken, Manchurian chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, chips, finely ground vegetables that was sweet. The place had no more than three tables being used and I was dining alone by 1:30 pm. The place was clean with Bollywood being played on a large screen television. The tandoori chicken seemed like it was reheated from the day before, dry and grayish in color. Not everything was bad, the lamb curry was falling off the bone. Curry chicken was tender with a great tasting sauce. Butter paneer had a rich sauce with tender pieces of paneer. The atmosphere was chill. The guys working there never picked up my plates and they leave a pitcher of water on the table. I'm not picky about service in a buffet because I want to eat in peace. The only reason I would come back is mainly because they had chocolate and mango flavored soft serve machine. That was the highlight of my meal. Yum, yum, and yum! During my finals week, all I craved was samosas. This place is the only place that is generous with their sauce when I ask for extra sauce. They have excellent customer service. We've been eating here for several months now getting the lunch buffet and dinners to-go. The food quality is consistently good no matter what you get. Heat levels are medium-high so make sure when you order to request your preferred spice level. The buffet has about a dozen options plus usually three to four sweets. I also love that they offer southern Indian dishes for when I need to have dosa or idli. The staff has always been super nice and pleasant to talk to. I went here with my boss for the lunch buffet a couple of weeks ago. I had never eaten at an Indian restaurant before. My boss said a buffet like this would be a good way to try many things. He was so right and my mind was blown. Everything was excellent. So much flavor, things I was a little scared to try just because it doesn't look like American food were actually very good. There was not one thing that was not delicious. The restaurant itself is very clean and its a cute place with nice ambiance. The workers were friendly and smiling. I would definitely come back here again and now want to try other Indian dishes. I still am thinking about some of the food I had that day and it was a few weeks ago now. I took my very large group of family and friends - almost 20 people, after my graduation to Namaste Natomas! My graduation was finishing late - around 8:30-9 pm and they were so so kind and agreeable to letting us stay for longer. My family ranges from 20s - 80s and so it can take longer to order. They were really patient with us as we worked through everything from start to end. Besides that, the food was amazing! We ordered several appetizers and our group cleaned out all of those. Everyone ordered very different main course items from biryani to butter chicken and dosa - everything was very solid! Would highly recommend coming here. My family is definitely a group of picky eaters and being Indian and from the Bay Area - we like to think we have a lot of good Indian food at home and at restaurants too! Delicious! I was really surprised when I found out the previous place closed but was looking forward to trying the new restaurant taking its space. Everything we ordered was 5 stars! The South Indian flavors were spot on and super authentic! The North Indian dishes were creamy and very tasty. Then there's the biryani's! This is how real biryani is supposed to taste!
