Today was my first time coming into the Zoli's and I just had the best experience. Sometimes when you come in as a solo diner, the wait staff tend to ignore you because you are a smaller bill or you just don't need as much. I never felt that way at Zoli's. My waitress was very kind and checked in on me enough. My drink was never empty! The food was fantastic as well! They have a great New York style pizza. I tried the Prince Roger's and the jalapeño ranch dipping sauce. All of it was fantastic! Well cooked and easy to pick up and eat. Really recommend the basil pesto on the pizza. The atmosphere is also super fun and Star Wars themed. My husband will certainly love that. Cannot wait for my next visit! read more

We ordered the fried meatballs and they were so tasty. I ended up with the carbonara and my boyfriend had the burger. The pasta dish is not a traditional carbonara by any means. However, it was so delicious. They added corn and bacon to it. The flavors meshed so beautifully and the dish was a home run. I was very impressed by this place. Every dish was well thought out. I saw Zoli's online and suggested it to friends for dinner on Saturday night. My friend called that afternoon for a reservation. When I checked in, I heard others asked if they had a reservation and I got the impression that it might be hard to walk-in on a weekend evening. We had cocktails, appetizers, desserts and took pizza to go. The garlic knots were delicious with crunchy garlic and fresh tasting dough. I didn't eat any of the brussel sprouts but my friend raved about them. The nugs were crunchy but nothing special. The pizza crust was by far the star! The gooey butter cake was a close second. We sat at our table for nearly 4 hours and no one ever made us feel rushed. Our waters were constantly filled, the staff were friendly and just the right level of attentive. We visited Zoli's for the first time this past week. First, the positives: We had the El Supremo pizza. Great taste with a good amount of toppings. The restaurant was nice with a good atmosphere. A few concerns: We each ordered a beer. After a few minutes, the server came back to inform us they were out, and we'd have to make another choice. The El Supremo pizza comes with bell peppers. We're fine with red but do not like green. The server said the peppers on the pizza were a mix of red and green. We asked if we could substitute the roasted red peppers listed on the menu as a topping. They informed us the menu was incorrect and it was the mix. We told them to hold the peppers. When we got the pizza, both red and green bell peppers were on it so we sent it back. They got it right on the second one. We plan to go back because the pizza was really good, though we suggest they correct their menus. read more

Pretty good pizza place in the Addison area. Pizza is 'nicer' NY style, not 'street' NY style, so the prices reflect that. Atmosphere is halfway between a pizza joint and an Italian restaurant. Big fan of Zoli's, especially for Saturday brunch. Yes, I know what you're thinking. Pizza for brunch? And the answer is yes, absolutely. They have a delicious Croque Madame pizza and the Honey Bastard is another go to, if you like spicy and sweet. The other great thing about brunch here? $3 mimosas and frozen strawberry bellini's. If you come outside of brunch, this place is still top notch. Their salads are huge, so if you get one, prepare to share it or take some home (or finish it all, c'est la vie!). The one "downfall" is that there is only one size of pizza, but the upside to this is that you can do half/half. To-go is great as well, but the atmosphere of this Star Wars themed restaurant is too fun to miss. read more

Zoli's NY Pizza pictures looked too good not to try it out. In the mood for pizza and I jumped at the chance to suggest this place when a friend asked where I wanted to go for lunch. As we approached the building, the parking lot looked small and not too busy. Is that a bad sign? No, that meant we got seated immediately when we walked in. The place looked large, clean, and the bar looked great. I was digging the modern clean take on the old brick pizzeria. The Waffle Fries Pat's Way came out first in a cast iron boat shaped dish. The waffle fries were cooked almost through, with a little fullness of raw potatoeness. The pickles were juicy and the peppers, weren't spicy but added a pretty good flavor to the fries. In my opinion, the fries could have used more sharp cheddar, mozzarella and the pepperonis definitely were crisp. There was a good amount of pepperonis on top that were almost completely dried as they were cooked through. Roasted Corn Carbonara surprised me. The noodles were al dente and the sauce was silky smooth and creamy. I wasn't sure about the corn, but it was really good with each bite. It was just a very subtly crunch with the bacon bits and noodles, that tasted so good. And the egg on top of the dish was a shiny rich yellow that broke over the noodles and made it look even better. The Christian Pescroni Pizza was the star of the show and reason I decided to come test out Zoli's. I can't say that this is a NY Style pizza, but it was really good. The crust/bread was thick and held the pizza pretty well. I checked the bottom of the pizza and it was beautifully and evenly charred. The medium-thin pepperonis curled up nicely and held a little bit of the oil, the fresh basil wasn't burnt to a crisp, and jalapeno pesto was a good addition to the flavor profile of the marinara. Need I say it?.. There were no left overs for this one. In conclusion, there were a lot of unexpected things, from the corn in the carbonara to my pizza coming out round instead of square, but everything was still pretty good. The plating, presentation of food, and taste. I'd say definitely try the Christian Pescroni and check this place out if you're looking for a good slice. I'll be coming back for it and maybe try another pizza soon. read more

Really good pizza! We ordered the frozen strawberry drink for only $3 and it was really good! It was strong for my liking but my friends loved it!! For our starter we debated between the fries and the nuggz (fried mozzarella balls) and we ended up going with the nugs, per our waitress' recommendation! They were sooo good! These little balls had the perfect cheese pull and tasted amazing. For our choice of pizza we went with the fat staxx and put the ricotta on the side. We loved this pizza so much! Every bite was so crispy (our favorite) and delicious! My husband loved the ricotta, while I loved the Jalopeno pesto. However, I didn't realize that this pizza didn't include any actual pizza sauce so I would make sure to pay attention to the description of the pizzas! I'm not even sure when this place opened, but I used to live down the street on Midway for 11 months and. Ever noticed it. My little cousin is visiting this weekend, and he found it while trying to decide what he wanted for dinner. Every single item I had was beyond delicious. I cannot even suscribe the flavors that the 'Dope Sopp' pizza had. The pizza was sweet yet tangy with a nice crunch. The M.O.M. was delicious! The waiter convinced me to get a desert so I got something chocolate with ice cream on top (can't think of the name but it's posted)... I will definitely be returning. THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS ok, i first ordered one of their pizzas through uber eats. Excellent. Now i will say its on the pricier side for a pizza/pasta joint. The atmosphere on the inside is awesome. Tons of music and star wars references and decorations. Even their pizza boxes feature Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and a Stormtrooper. Nerding out and enjoying the place as a hangout aside, the food is incredible. Particularly their pasta. I do with they would experiment and expand their pasta selection a bit more, but what they have is excellent. The chicken parm is more of a southern deep fried chicken vs the mallet beaten patties most places do. The vodka rigatoni had this great acidic bit in the sauce. Most of their pastas come with a garlic bread crumble which makes an amazing texture contrast and a boost of buttery garlic flavor. On top of all of this, they sell a jalapeno ranch dip. All of the proceeds from purchasing the dip goes towards an animal shelter. read more

Just terrible service tonight. Hostess MIA when we arrived. 10 more minutes to get seated despite plenty of open, clean tables. Sat for another 10 minutes before we were acknowledged by server. Placed entire order when she showed up. 5 minutes to get our water and 10 minutes to get our drinks. Ordered 2 pies because half of table wanted el supremo pie and the other half wanted buffalo chicken. El supremo comes out, you guessed it, 10 minutes before buffalo chicken. Despite the features noted that pets are welcomed, we showed up with our lap dog, were seated, then was immediately asked by the manager to leave because they do not allow pets. We had a pizza several years ago in south dakota that was incredible - a ceasar chicken buffalo style...... We have been trying every pizza place under the sun to see if any of them are even CLOSE. None are. We tried Zoli's version yesterday and trust us, the Buffalo Chicken pizza is a complete dud.... It had more celery and carrots on it than it did cheese. And the toppings were 3 full inches from the edge of the crust. Taste was pedestrian. Don't waste your time or money on that particular pizza, a complete joke. read more

Overall this place is worth the confusion of figuring out how to get into the parking lot! Spoiler alert: the Jake's parking lot and Zoli's don't connect. Easiest way is your off belt line on to midway is to pass it and do a U turn and then turn right into its parking lot. Now the food... this pizza is so delicious and the salads are shareable with splitting a pizza. The staff is very attentive and courteous and the vibe is so fun. Also ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR ON MONDAY! The food is great albeit not consistent. Some days your pizzas and pastas will be overflowing with flavor and toppings and some days you cannot find a pepperoni or meatball in sight. This place really needs to work on their front desk/phones/catering and possibly employ a manager who is actually present at the restaurant during open hours?! The same dimwit answers the phones and takes orders that go into the abyss. I've shown up to pick up catering orders that "were never taken". I've been given other customers' orders. I've tried to make up for this by calling multiple times in advance to confirm my order only to be told it can only be confirmed the morning of??! Please just use an online system instead of this terrible staff member who appears to be nothing more than a warm body that cannot answer a question about the restaurant to save her life. read more

I just walked out. It should *NOT* take :15-:20 minutes to bring a side salad. When I checked to see just how long I had been waiting it might have been upwards of :30 minutes. There was no way in hell I was waiting longer. Jake's next door was able to bring out freshly fried tater tots in less than :05 of my ordering them. They were also able to deliver my made to order burger in less than :10. I simply can't grasp how a side salad is more complicated to make than a burger and tater tot's. I won't be back. And thus ends the Addison Pizza Drought. My wife and I have lived for 3 years and never found a pizza place in Addison / Far Northe Dallas we would visit twice. Lo and behold Zoli's arrives! We ordered pick up and I'm so glad we did. Some of the "less positive" reviews on here reference service or temp of pizza when delivered; we largely circumvented both by ordering for pick up and the service I got during even that process was excellent. This place was packed on a Tuesday and that is never a bad sign! We ordered the Christian Pescroni and I'm so glad we did! the jalapeño pesto is surprising and delicious. It wasn't spicy per se but had a persistent peppery undertone that really paired well with the oil and nuttiness of the pesto. I will say at first I thought it was pretty ballsy for them to not have a Supreme Pizza (our normal go to for the first time at a new pizza place) but this pizza was like Pepperoni Plus! The toppings were well spaced, balanced, and each bite was uniformly yummy. I was afraid the pesto would be too salty but it was just right; all the salt was in the pepperoni where it should be. There is a nice cheese to topping to sauce to crust ratio in our pizza, and I love the thickness of the round pizza (the "thin" crust version). That's something we'd really been missing in other pizza, and this way you don't feel like you need to order it with extra sauce just to get enough sauce. Worth noting too that the cheese and toppings "adhere" well to the pizza; sometimes you take a bite of other pizza and the damn thing comes right off the crust and your left with the world's largest cheesy bite and then a whole lot of bare crust. For what it's worth this pizza pairs well with a good ol IPA as well! We also got the Chop Salad, which was well balanced and a light counterpart to the pizza. One pizza and one salad was a perfect amount for two people that want to be satisfyingly full but not overly full. All in all great experience and will definitely go back; can't wait to try their other scrumptious pizza offerings (hello, Everything Bagel Crust) and Seinfeld homage "Big Salad" and "Fusili Jerry" FYI we have now eaten there in person and it was phenomenal! Kids' size pasta for $6 is the best tasting kids meal I could imagine! Can't believe I didn't order the Chop Salad sooner... very yummy. The spinach artichoke dip is seriously up there for best I've ever had, and I am not exaggerating. To me you should do what we did and get the CBR, and use the everything crust to dip in the spinach artichoke dip! read more

This is specifically for their square pizzas. Ive been to Cane Rosso before and enjoyed my experience every time, especially for the honey bastard. When I found out that this place was also owned by the same guy, I had to check it out. Ive been on a square/detroit style pizza craving lately. I know Thunderbird Pies is the current ghost kitchen that runs out of this joint, but of course, they dont sell those pizzas on the weekend. I saw that Zoli's offered their own square pizzas on the permanent menu and decided on that. One I saw the honey bastard was an option, I knew what I was having for dinner. Due to COVID I wasnt gonna dine in, but theres definitely no doubt that whoever decided on the interior design and merchandise were huge fans of Star Wars and Wu Tang Clan. I wouldnt be surprised if they have to pay a pretty penny to Disney for using Star Wars images due to copyright, but I digress. I pizza smelled wonderful. I wish I could own a candle and have my whole house smell like this pizza. The toppings are top tier quality, with no cutting of corners in how they receive and prepare the ingredients. The bread itself though was the biggest disappointment. I love how this pizza has a high hydration in its dough and its not dense like the Pizza Guy's Pan Pizza. But its a little offputting when it feels like Im eating a car wash sponge with pizza toppings. I saved about half my pizza and heated up on my pizza stone the next day. The reheating on the stone did crisp it up to a more reasonable level, but at the expense that the crunch was more of a pretzel rather than crunchy yet soft inside. Maybe their square pizzas are not always like this, but for almost $30, I wanna know for sure that Im going to have the best experience I can. I definitely want to try the regular hand toss pizzas, but for now, Im avoiding the square pizzas as I want to sink my teeth into a pizza and not be able to gum it down like thick cotton candy. read more

First "visit" to Zoli's, but of course things are rather different with COVID-19! i did a takeout order via Uber Eats. I parked and went to the door and there's a sign that reads, "Stay here for pick up orders". I appreciate the precautions they're taking to keep their staff/community safe. I did the "Lil' Troy" pizza. Put it in my car and literally the smell of pizza & seasoning made it hard to not just dig in in the parking lot. The Lil Troy pizza consists of: vodka sauce, mini meatballs, stracciatella, hot cherry peppers, mushrooms (I added on) and my favorite.. GARLIC BREAD CRUMBS! Idk who thought to put this on pizza but give that man/woman a promotion, ASAP! This added so much flavor to the pizza.. Only thing I would change is requesting EXTRA of this lol. Only flaw was they gave me soooo many mushrooms. Was literally falling off the pizza, I love mushrooms but it was a little too much for me. Me and wife just moved into the area and order this place for delivery for the first time, the food had great flavor however pizza and nugg were ice cold and we also order the ranch (which ended up being the best thing from this dinner) was spilled and miss ...to give the company a chance I called up there and let them know it was my first time and how I was displeased I spoke the manger Wesley and said he couldn't speak on the behalf of door dash and made it sound they are at fault for this...the only answer he had after pointing this out is "it's up to corporate how they would like to handle it" .........with as many other option as this area has I would recommend saving your money read more

Amazing experience here. Lots of seating- either at the bar or at tables. I chose the bar, since I was dining alone. I went with the mozzarella nugs- so cute and so tasty. The appetizer portion was quite a lot for one person, but well worth it. For the pizza, I had a lot of trouble choosing one. I went with the CBR Pizza (with the everything bagel seasoning on the crust.. yes.. drooling). It was AMAZING. Unlike any other pizza topping combination I have ever had. The crust was to die for. I loved it. I loved it so much that I went to a Marshall's store, bought a glass container, so I could pack some pizza in it and bring it home on the plane with me for my fiance to try. The pasta carbonara is tasty but the menu describes it as being served in a bowl as big as your face. It is true, the BOWL is big but unfortunately the pasta filling it isn't. $13 was way too much to spend on a tiny bowl of pasta especially when it doesn't come with anything, no bread, no side salad I may return some day but a DIY pizza can easily run $20 so not sure this is the place for a cheapskate like me read more
