Two words: terrible hospitality. The manager at the Fort Worth Zoli's is one of the most ill mannered, discourteous, underbred and contentious people I've encountered in the food industry. Would give 1 star but I genuinely thought the food was not terrible so 2 stars seems to be fair. It's pretty hard to mess up pizza. But boy oh boy does the manager know a thing or two about ruining hospitality and customer service. We were asked to leave the premises or else the manager would dump out my Diet Coke I brought in while we waited for our to go order. Decided to stay and just eat it there, and the sweaty, uncivil so called store manager decided it would be appropriate to kick our respectful group of three out of the restaurant right before closing. But hey, like they say, the managers always right! Oh wait. Customer... that's how that goes. My recommendation to anybody looking for a bite to eat, is quite literally any other joint nearby. Fort Worth has plenty of other options that would love to welcome you into their restaurant and serve you. Please avoid the woman in charge here. read more

Zoil'a Pizza overall was good. The Brussels sprouts were incredible (coming from someone who hates Brussels sprouts). The jalapeño ranch was perfect and goes great on anything. The pizza was good but not the best I've had. The gluten free pizza was ok but not worth the $5 price hike. Everything came out pretty quickly. The service was ok. I am a BIG FAN of Cane Rosso and have been meaning to try this place for awhile. We went around 1230 on a Saturday. It was busy but not over crowded or loud. There were plenty of places to park and open tables inside & out. The outdoor area is large with a yard and playground for kiddos to run around and play. There wasn't any shade over the playground so I imagine it gets quite hot during the summer days but otherwise would be perfect. There are regular picnic tables, picnic tables with umbrellas, & tables under their large covered patio right off the restaurant. The inside is quirky with fun graffiti art and star wars decor. There is a bar, some quiet TVs with sports playing, a side room that would be great for small parties (if you wanted to be separate from the main area), and a couple arcade games to entertain kids. We were quickly greeted, seated, then attended to by our very friendly waitress. I regret that I don't remember her name but she was very good about trying to sell us drinks from the bar, telling us about the menu, and shared her enthusiasm of some menu items she had tried from their new brunch menu. I got a frozen Strawberry Bellini which was really nice. I believe she said they squeeze their juices fresh. It came in a cute glass and I appreciated the $3 price point! For a starter we got the zucchini fries that come with their proclaimed world famous jalapeño ranch. I think they could proclaim their zucchini fries as famous too! They've got a really nice light pecorino crusting and were not overly greasy or heavy like I have had many other places. The jalapeño ranch surprisingly just had a great jalapeño flavor and was not spicy which allowed my Mom to be able to eat it too (she can't do spice). It took about 5-10 min to get the app so we were pleased. We shared the Feel Like Bacon Love brunch pizza. The Honey Bastard is one of my favs from Cane Rosso so I was excited to try the bacon marmalade on another pizza. It also had ham, blistered tomatoes & mushrooms. It did not disappoint! It has a large flaky crust like cane rosso. I saw other pizzas that were rectangular and looked to be deep dish - so some different options to meet your pizza preferences. They can be considered a little on the higher end of price points for pizza but I believe it's fair given the quality of ingredients they're using. We enjoyed our experience today & would definitely go back. Two opportunities: I would love to see some dessert pizzas on this menu as the ones at cane rosso are life changing. I am a little confused about the creamery mentioned on the side of building. Unsure if it's separate, a part of the business, or even operating. Let me start by saying, I love this place. My last visit wasn't very pleasant due to the unwelcoming hostess. I had some family with me who was here for the first time and she set the tone when they walked through the door which was very unfortunate. Before giving this place a fair shake, they were ready to go elsewhere. After some convincing, we stayed and enjoyed the fantastic food and drinks. Don't miss the zucchini fries or the Bellini! So so of a place...somewhat disappointing The Detroit style pizza was looking promising so I decided to give it a try . Started with the waffle fries loaded with bacon , cream etc. it was pretty good a fairly large portion - 4/5 I also ordered the mushroom pizza Detroit style . The pizza came in after 45 mins (the waitress did apologise and deducted the fries off the total bill as compensation ) but it was a disappointment - very little toppings , a dry dough ...pretty bad . 2/5 I will continue to look for some descent pizza , this is not the place for that (at least not for the Detroit style) read more

Fun environment with Star Wars decor and other cool art covering the walls. After hearing such great reviews, we were really excited to try the pizza but ended up a bit disappointed. The Long Hot Summer (pizza of the month) was missing the caramelized onions that were supposed to be included, and generally lacking in toppings. The NY white pizza was better, and I really liked the sesame seed crust, but the bottom of the pizza was still covered in flour that gave it a dusty taste. We also tried the O.D. burger which had cheese reminiscent of McDonald's and really dry beef. The pickles were great but overall the burger was not worth it at all. It also included fries that were sadly unseasoned and similarly dry :( Our food took a while to come out (30+ minutes after ordering), but the restaurant was really busy so it may have been a one time thing. Came tonight to enjoy a shared birthday with my mother and our whole family. Our server, Joshua, was amazing with a large group. The pizza was spot-on. The homemade marinara sauce was absolutely phenomenal! Pizzas were flavorful and they have some great and unique toppings. Well I'll start by saying that they have a great customer experience. 8 out of 10 on service. Server was ok in explaining likes and dislike about the menu. We also lost a key that day on Friday night and weather was pretty bad on the weekends and Monday. We thought we lost our key at home. That pizza was worse than little Cesar sadly. Nugz was ok. The cheese was hard. It's not gooey and melted when you bite into it. About $2 too expensive. And server said zucchini fries are the best seller. Yeah they were good I think but it soooo small to charge $13 for it! The portion is for 1 person in the app. And it cost arm and a leg. If you want to charge gourmet price, you're in the wrong business. This is pizza place and it's family friendly pizza place. If you have 2kids you better order 4 or more appetizers round. What's not to like about zolis? Have kids, let them play on the playground. Have a fur baby, they have an expansive outdoor area. Like saving money, come during happy hour. It's a win win Food- there have been wars over pizza but here you don't have to choose. They have two options for pizza style, Michigan style ( not pizza in my opinion ) and what they call New York style, although I would consider it more California ( I like both so that was the pick for me ). Pizza came out hot and fresh and I appreciate they let you split one pizza for two flavors. We also ordered the zucchini fries which were a hit! Service - we came during happy hour so it was poppin! Service was a little slow but we were watching the game so no biggie. Everyone was very friendly and inviting. To start off, the service was amazing and got everything right. Our waiter did a great job at assisting us. The wait was a little long and took a bit for the pizza. The restaurant outside was crowded so we decided to eat inside. Going on to the food it was amazing! One of the best pizzas I've tried. We got the Pizza of The Month which was "R.I.P Mrs. Piggy". It was delicious. The reason for 3 stars is because when we were done eating we decided to let the kids go play. That was a mistake. I've seen more injuries at the playground than anywhere else! The playground itself is okay but my kids got hurt a total of 4 times and I saw other kids constantly fall too. This is more of the parents fault for not watching their kids but the playground has un even ground so it makes it much harder than it already is for little kids who can't balance well to not fall. This place is pretty dead on the Sunday afternoon I stopped in, but everything comes to a halting stop when the Dallas Cowboys are playing. Great service from Layla! I started things off with the Baked Spinach Dip was very tasty. It was a little bit on the soupy side compared to most spinach dips I've had, but no complaints. I split a round pie: 1/2 Heim Time Supreme and the other 1/2 their award winning Dope Sopp (light on the hot soppressata). The pizza came out maybe 10 minutes after ordering- piping hot with an excellent crispy thin crust. Both pizzas were excellent, but I liked the unique contrasting sweet and heat of the Dope Sopp best. The Brookie Sundae was pretty filling. Definitely more of a rich brownie than a cookie. i'd recommend asking for an extra scoop of vanilla ice cream to soften it up. Great meal and worth a stop if your pizza fan. read more

Ok people if you have kids and you love a good patio... then this is your place to be!! There is also an option for indoor dining as well, but who can say no to a play ground and a decent open field for the kiddos to run around play instead of staring at an iPad and waiting for food. My kiddo is a little older and still enjoys throwing a football with a friend versus sitting at the table. Now food recommendations: my go to is always the Mac and cheese!! You can find it under the Snacks & Shares and it's called "Return of the Mac" but it's plenty as an entree. I also recommend washing it down with a mule...preferably a pomegranate mule it's so refreshing!! Of course there is always pizza and other pasta dishes as well for you to try. The business cannot address it if they do not know about it. My impression now, is they do not want to know. I'm writing to share feedback about a disappointing experience at your Fort Worth location on 5/11/25 (Mother's Day). My family and I arrived around 10:30 a.m.. The restaurant wasn't busy, and we were seated quickly, which was nice. The patio began to fill up shortly after we arrived, but the inside was empty; Giving this for context, as I know it was Mother's Day, but not yet busy. Our server, Noah, didn't seem overly interested in being there, or particularly welcoming. When I asked for a Miller Lite, he simply said, "We're out," without offering an alternative and didn't seem to care. Throughout our visit, he remained unenthusiastic and offered minimal communication or hospitality. Appetizers arrived without issue, but when our entrées came after a very long ticket time, my stepfather was mistakenly served the chicken parmesan sandwich instead of the meatball sandwich he ordered. When Noah finally returned to ask how things were going, he didn't apologize for the mistake or show concern, but said he would re-enter the correct order. No update was given for at least 30 minutes while the rest of us ate, and Noah avoided our table during this time. I watched as he looked at our table and the missing food, but never came to provide any sort of update. At this point, I got up and went inside looking for a manager. I stood at the bar waiting for 10 minutes without ever being acknowledged to my amazement, as the inside of the restaurant wasn't busy. I eventually gave up, deciding it wasn't worth missing time with my family and I would make another attempt later. I did attempt a second time and was met with the same result. This left me feeling upset and defeated, as the bottom of the menu clearly asks to let a manager know instead of giving a bad review on Yelp. After my second attempt to find a manager, I gave up and decided that I would write a review and not ever return. In watching how the employees interacted with customers and the lack of service in some cases, I concluded that this is unfortunately likely a management issue, which has resulted in a lack of proper training and leadership. After receiving our check, we realized that the chicken parm sandwich was still on the bill, which prompted my wife and I to finally seek out the manager near the front of the restaurant. The manager (whose name I didn't catch), quickly noted the chicken parm sandwich had been removed from the bill, to which we apologized for missing. However, after explaining the disappointing details of our experience in honor of the request at the bottom of the menu, she minimized the situation by saying Noah is "just shy and I'm trying to get him to come out of his shell". She mentioned that she has talked to him before and will talk with him again. At this point, the restaurant was in full swing, and I acknowledged that I knew it was busy at the time, but for most of our visit - it wasn't. I was honest with my perceptions that the employees didn't seem interested in being there and lacked a sense of care and concern for their guests. Her response to this included how customers were being "extra hostile" that weekend, due to a lack of outdoor reservation capacity, which made it seem as if her guests are to blame. While I understand service work is demanding, this response felt dismissive. I again explained my patience with the situation and told her that it appears to be poor training / management. She continued to dismiss my experience and thoughts, and at this point, I'll admit that I cut her off and told her that it appears she may be the problem before I walked out. Customers are guests and should be treated as such. I spent over $200 on an experience that was meant to treat my family on a special occasion but ended in utter disappointment. The appetizers and pizzas were good but that's where it ended. The way everything was handled, from the lack of hospitality to the long wait time for a corrected food order, to the lack of acknowledgement of my presence on multiple occasions in a nearly empty room, to the blatant disregard for my business and dismissive response to all of this, is just ridiculous. This blows my mind. Had things gone differently, we would have spent more on drinks and desserts, but instead we gave our business to Suzie Cakes and Van Leeuwen for dessert and HG SPLY for more I'm sharing this feedback because supporting local businesses in my community is important to me. I take pride in Fort Worth and enjoy rewarding those who work hard and provide great service. If this were my restaurant, I'd want to know where improvement is needed. Zoli has been on our radar for a couple months now since I began a quest for Detroit style pizza here in the FTW/Dallas area. We ended up here today for lunch after erroneous FB foodie page intel took us to Central Market for a Muffuletta sandwich that does not exist, at least at that location. Zoli is a very cool venue and it is expansive. I dunno how many diners Zoli can accommodate but it is a lot with both inside and patio seating in addition to bar seating. We elected to sit at a booth as it offers padded seating comfortable for old timers. The menu offers a very nice range of apps and sharables, salads, sandwiches, pastas and pizzas... both traditional round and Detroit style. The wine list is limited but adequate for a pizza and pasta joint. As the offerings were unfamiliar to me our server (the bartender today) recommended the Smith and Hook Cab which proved to be a great compliment to our pizza. On Tuesday and Wednesday wines by the glass and bottle are half price! Sweet! The store serves beer, of course, as well as cocktails. I failed to take a pic of the Detroit style pizza menu and there is not a pic posted here on Yelp nor is it to be found if you go to the store's website from Yelp. So I cannot recall the name of the pizza we ordered but it had sopressata, sausage, caramelized onions and orange peppers and sautéed mushrooms. It was everything we are looking for in a Detroit style pizza. Lights out Detroit style perfection. So good. We were full after one piece but it would have been criminal not to have had one more piece while this goodness was still fresh. So, of course, we did. Cannot tell you how much we enjoyed this. Zoli's is the brainchild of Jay Jerrier and crew of Cane Rosso fame. So you know you're in Big League Pizza Nirvana territory to begin with. And this store lives up to the reputation and then some IMHO. Looks like it would be a great family venue as beyond the patio seating there is a large area where the kids can play. read more

But the service was absolutely off the chain. I'm a bit embarrassed that it took us so long to try out Zoli's. From the same great minds behind Cane Rosso, Zoli's not only has that great pizza, but so much more. The setup and vibe is completely different from that of Cane Rosso - it has a tremendous outdoor play area that will keep your kids busy for hours, a large outdoor dining area, and a colorful interior filled with NYC and Star Wars pop-culture mash-ups. Where Cane Rosso is more of an old-school pizzeria, Zoli's is definitely new age. While you can expect the same great pizza quality at Zoli's, their lineup also has some pies unique to just here as well. We opted for the NY White and the Fat Staxx and both were great and had that same delicious crust from Cane Rosso. There are also plenty of other menu items to choose from with a noodle and sandwich menu as well as a brunch menu. The square pizzas were also highly recommended so we will have to try those out at the next visit. We plan to make Zoli's our go-to spring/summer pizza family outing location and hopefully the food deities will forgive me for my ignorance of this great spot. It checks all the boxes for us and now we also don't have to drive across town to get our Cane Rosso fix. If you were like us and have yet to try it, stop in and enjoy some pizza. read more

Finally, Fort Worth has good (and I mean, really good) pizza. I have always found good pizza a rarity around here, but Zoli's truly delivers. We visited on a weeknight and loved sampling from their extensive menu.
