I've used Zoom Electricians twice in the past month and have been very satisfied with their work. Zoom is open to phone calls quite late which is very convenient. For my first job which involved installing a light fixture where none existed, an electrician was sent out the next day to check out what he would need. He then scheduled me for the following day to do the actual work. The electrician and his assistant where in and out within an hour and I was extremely satisfied with the work they did. While they were there I asked them to look at a ceiling fan I wanted replaced with a light fixture and they told me that it would be an easy switch. When I asked for them to come back for the switch (when my new light fixture had arrived, they quickly disassembled the ceiling fan and installed my new light fixture. You do not deserve a high rating. I spoke with them on Monday to have an electrician arrive. I called the electrician when they did not meet the time window, and they said they blew a tire, but they would be there same time tomorrow. Tuesday, they did not show up or call. I called them Wednesday, and was promised an electrician would show up on Wednesday, only to get a call later that the electrician will come Thursday. These people are a call center in the Philippines, who do not understand customer service, and also lied about giving a discount for bad service. They over charge as well! STAY AWAY. Zoom Electric gave $1982.28 estimate for just 1outlet to be installed. And $2594.57 estimate for tv installation and outlet installation both.And charged 75$ for service fee.I think instead of doing the job they rely on service fees as an income.BE AWARE. read more

I used Zoom Electricians in Torrance and would never use them again. They charged 99.00 for a membership service charge just for technician to show up. They charged $380.00 to put in a 40 amp circuit and $180.00 to mount a light fixture. The total charge was 659.00 and the technician was done in 1 hour and 10 minutes. I purchased the circuit breaker from Lowes for 17.00. I told them they overcharged me as a senior and kept calling them asking for adjustment. They gave me the runaround and kept saying they would call back and never did. Seniors beware, companies like this are taking advantage of us. read more
