Excellent service!! I broke my metal frames, but the (pricey) lenses were still intact, so I wanted to get them fixed. Thankfully, the company I purchased from online sent me new empty frames. I then needed to find a place that could put the lenses onto the new frames. Found Zoomer through Yelp and Google, and I'm so glad I did! First, they were so nice and ready to help as soon as I walked in. When I explained and showed my glasses, I was told they can get it done in 15 minutes. Literally probably not even a full 5 minutes, my glasses were ready. Free of charge! Since I was there already, I proceeded to ask questions. My prescription is high, and they even noticed how thick the lens were. They told me they'd be able to make a thinner lens and gave me a quote right away. The price was not bad at all! They even told me it would be ready within 2 hours. I also asked if they accept insurance, and the answer was no because they're a third-party shop; however, what can be done is to use their invoice to file a claim with insurance for possible payment. So happy to have found this place three years ago! This business definitely has a niche and the hallmark of it is based on their great service even after point of sale. They really backup their product with fantastic customer care. I get my family's lenses all done thru here but I am also grateful they make time to adjust and repair our frames (many times just walking in with no appointment). They give you a receipt that is fully compliant with your vision insurance so you can get whatever the out of network reimbursement is. They also have a great assortment of frames. You go in there and you see the lab on sight. There is a comfort of knowing these guys know what they are doing and they are fully accountable for the finished product. This place is AMAZING! I needed emergency eyeglasses and found this place on Yelp. I read the reviews and tried the place out. I am more than satisfied. My aunt and uncle will be going there next. My aunt and I met Marco on our way out, but Rudy helped me out and was so kind, professional, and very helpful. Even wrote notes on the back of my prescription so I can be more informed on the lens he gave me. Plus, they give you this amazing kit to take care of your glasses and a sturdy metal case to put them in. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!! Oh and very fast. TWO of my glasses were ready in under 30 min! (No one was there though as I went as soon as they opened). (I would suggest getting frames at Target as I did if you want cheap frames. I got some new frames and just needed some lenses made. Found Zoomer well reviewed on Yelp and they're 5 stars for a good reason. They're a small (3 person?) shop in a brand new building. So customer experience is very personal, no bots, no answering machines, you're talking to the people who will be making your lenses. Excellent customer service, lens selection/quality and very fair pricing. LENS SELECTION: Marco took care of me and made the whole process super fast, clear and honest. I have really bad eyes so my lenses are thick. When choosing lens thickness, he used a cool app to show me what the difference would be. And he said straight up, I don't think you need the extra thin one cos it's not gonna make a noticeable diff. He didn't just upsell me blindly. Anti scratch, anti reflection, blue light, its all included, no a la carte upsells that gouge the price. I got clear lenses but they also have transitions and sunglass lenses. LENS MAKING: Your mileage may vary depending how busy they are but I think I only waited 15 min or so and my lenses were done. They noticed one of my lenses had tilted slightly while being ground. They had me try them on first, I couldn't tell anything was off, but they immediately remade that one lens. This attention to detail and integrity feels rare nowadays. That's why I prefer small businesses cos they care more about their reputation and customers. LENS QUALITY: I've gotten frames and lenses from Warby Parker for the last several years. In comparison Zoomer's lenses seemed a little sharper. Can't comment on the long term durability etc. yet. But their prices are lower than I'm used to paying so it's a no-brainer.
