I am really good at making Italian dishes myself, so I am always disappointed when we go out to eat to an Italian restaurant, and I could have done it better myself. Zuccarelli is different though! I really liked the Spaghetti Bolognese and I also had their Spaghetti Carbonara. I also appreciated the presentation and choice of plating. This place is a disaster. Placed a seamless order for delivery at 6:45pm on a Friday night. Seamless went to pick up the order and there was no acknowledgement for over an hour. I tried to call the restaurant 6 times and it continues to ring with no pick up until the call failed. the seamless driver called from her cell and I heard them yelling at her simply for asking about the order status. I came here at the recommendation of my hotel's concierge. I love Italian food so I was anxious to try this place. I was immediately greeted by a friendly and efficient staff. I received a serving of warm garlic knots with just the right amount of garlic and texture. I started out with a glass of the house Chianti and a cup of minestrone soup which was basic but very flavorful. This was followed by a sizable portion of chicken parmigiana with spaghetti in a marinara sauce. The chicken was tender, breaded lightly with a thin layer of mozzarella cheese. The spaghetti was well cooked but a little bland for my taste -- until I added a litter red pepper and a spoonful of the garlic sauce that accompanied the knots! I managed to finish everything and was definitely satisfied. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who is in the mood for home-style Italian food. The locals seem to enjoy it. All the yelp reviews show garlic knots/rolls and this garlic bread was just awful. Toasted bread with garlic powder and butter. Just awful. Dry and over-toasted. Took one bite and couldn't take another. The pizza was good! Big slices, large pepperoni, and a good amount of garlic. Had two slices and the husband finished the rest. It's the pizza that saves this review from a two star to a three. Would buy pizza again -- but the poor sides show that this place is a hot or moss for sure. read more

I've eaten at Zuccarelli a number of times. They seem to be best known for their pizza, however, of the pizza and pizza slices I've had, though good enough, nothing I'd be inclined to rave about. People also seem to know them for chicken wings, but of the ones I've had, I'd be inclined to avoid in the future. Where I do find them shining are in some of their other foods and they have an exhaustive menu offering with plenty of them, and in their specials of the day. Along those lines, I found their appetizer of "Clams Organata" and, when they have it, any one of their fresh snapper dishes to be particularly good. On my most recent visit, my basis for this review, I went for their Veal Francese, $15.95, which was a pretty good deal in that it included a good salad, garlic rolls and a side of spaghetti which they will do up just about any way you might like it. I had my salad with a house Italian dressing which came on the side, meaning you pour it on yourself. The dressing was zesty in taste and the salad itself fresh and well composed of the basics of onion, lettuce and tomato. The veal francese came with the veal being tender, breaded over and covered with a good fresh to the taste sauce combo base of butter, lemon and white wine. It was also of good portion size, being five slices of tender, you could cut it with your fork, veal. My pasta, which I order as simple garlic and olive oil, came perfectly al dente in texture with the garlic having been just right and the oil itself with having a pleasant cooked in garlic flavor to it. Beyond the dishes I've mentioned the two other things that make me a fan of Zuccarelli is that I've always experienced the friendliest of service with a seemingly happy, humorous, rather uplifting and pleasant wait staff. Also when ordering wine, I've found the glass to be full; none of this nonsense half glass pour so common to other restaurants. read more

Coming from Philly area and having eaten in some authentic Italian restaurants there, I was pleasantly surprised to see such an authentic restaurant/ pizzeria in south Florida. They started with some buttery garlic bread, and I have to say, it was the best I have had so far. The entree portions were well sized too. Well priced for the quantity! The service is equally great!
