My husband I love little cafes, so we had to stop here on our way through. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered coffees and water, too bad no french vanilla, but the coffee was good! I ordered the pancake platter with bacon. My husband the B & G with 2 eggs over easy and some sausage links. They did not disappoint. Food was good, portions were huge. Next time I have to remember to do just a half order. The place was packed, but noise level was alright, you can carry a conversation.

Very diner-y vibe. Sitting at the counter enhanced that experience, despite being in a strip mall. It was quite busy around 10am on a Sunday. Clearly a popular choice. I chose the pancake platter which includes 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon (eggs your way and meat options are available). It was HUGE. Seriously, way to much for one human to eat. They had a half order and when my eyes had stopped bugging out over the size of my meal, I was wishing I had chosen the half order. The pancakes were fluffy. Scrambled eggs were good. Bacon had a great flavor. Only reason I didn't rate a five was that Husband had asked for extra crispy hashbrowns, and they definitely were not. Service was great. Overall, a very good experience.

The food is always hot and fresh. This place is always busy, but we always receive good service. It's always very clean. I use the restroom in this visit and it was spotless. Things moved along fairly quickly and I would definitely recommend this place. I don't know about the other food I just know about the breakfast there and it is amazing. I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as phenomenal.

Seated immediately upon arrival on a Sunday morning. Staff was quick to say hello and take our drink orders. We had great service with regular drink refills, and our waitress gave us a heads up on the busy kitchen so we ordered a delicious cinnamon roll for the table appetizer. Our food came out hot and fresh, just as ordered. It was tasty-from the chocolate chip pancakes and waffles to the omelettes and breakfast sandwich. We will be back!

When out of town, I always want to find a local joint for breakfast. This place did not disappoint! My kids had the cinnamon rolls, which were enormous. The wife sampled the breakfast burrito, full of delicious eggs and meat. For me, I got the large breakfast plate; complete with to 3 scrambled eggs, 3 crispy slices of bacon, a generous helping of hash browns cooked perfectly, 2 slices of toast and a side of sausage gravy to top it off. I recommend this to anyone that wants a delicious, Midwest breakfast.

Not for the diet crowd. Large portions of decent food and reasonable pricing. The child size pancake covers 3/4 of the plate.

Ambience and customer service were just... there. Nothing offensive, nothing memorable. It's giving "get your order and go," which honestly works if the food's this good. We were driving through from Colorado back to Minnesota and did everything right: ordered online a full 30 minutes ahead so we could just swing in and pick up. We arrive, my sister (who also ordered ahead online) is already walking out with her food. My brother orders in-person right when we get there, and his sandwich--plus two other walk-in customers' orders--come out before ours even starts being made. We ended up waiting over another 30 minutes. More than an hour total from when we placed the order. What is the point of online ordering if the system doesn't hold your spot in line and just lets in-store orders and later arrivals jump ahead of you? It completely defeats the whole purpose. Still... those sandwiches really were exceptional. Almost worth the headache.

We were just here a few weeks ago and I am so bummed to see they permanently closed!! We came during lunch and took advantage of their weekday lunch combo (Tues-Fri, 11am-2pm), which includes soup and a half grilled cheese. You can choose from the OG, Kick in the Cheese, or Fancy grilled cheese, plus either tomato basil bisque or the soup of the day. Honestly? A dream setup. I ordered the tomato basil bisque with a half OG grilled cheese, and wow... just wow. The soup was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the grilled cheese delivered that classic, beautiful cheese pull moment you hope for (and rarely actually get). The cheese had the perfect amount of sharpness and subtle bitterness, balancing everything out so well without being overwhelming.. I seriously could go for one right now! Every bite was comforting and delicious, and I immediately wished I had ordered a full OG sandwich because it was that good. The combo was mouth‑watering, satisfying, and wildly exceeded expectations for a quick lunch stop.

Looking for a place to grab lunch to go and came across Hungry Boyz…read more Decided to try two sandwiches and asked if they could wrap the halves separately. No problem. The Big Kahuna Tuna. Well this fish out of water wasn't a keeper for me. The bread is so soft and phenomenal. There was plenty of Tuna on this Big Kahuna, and I added lettuce, pickles, jalapeños, onion, and black pepper. Banana Peppers on the other half. The flavor just wasn't hitting for me. The tuna is like a paste, not dry, but not moist. The veggies were very light and added no flavor. I am not a fan of a ton of mayo, but this sandwich needs a flavor injection. That bread is seriously awesome and I am curious if the wheat hits the same. Would definitely let this fish go. It felt like a can of tuna on bread with a light mayo. The Lost Boyz - Ham, Salami, Turkey, Pepperoni, and Provolone with salad dressing, lettuce, tomato, oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano. The flavors in this sandwich are really good, excellent flavor. The veggies again were very light and the meat in the middle was perfect, but 2/3rds through and the meat is scarce. I couldn't really even taste the toppings. This sandwich hits, but it's missing like peppers. That oregano should bring some flavor. This place has real potential and the bread is solid. Very soft, good flavor, and holds up excellent. Need equal meat throughout and add some toppings, like "Dear Sammich Maker please don't be scared to add some meat and toppings so I can taste it ". They seem to be skimping IMO and for the price point pickles, peppers, and onions shouldn't be an issue. A half a slice of tomato on a half isn't much or enough. Maybe subway spoiled me or that other place in town The Madhatter where they take you to flavor town. This just came up short for me. The service is outstanding and it wasn't very busy for lunch. I would stop again and try some other sandwiches if in the area. Would definitely request more toppings.

It was getting to be dinner time, so asked my wife to meet me here for my last stop. Every time we've stopped here, we have been impressed with the quality of the food and tonight was no different. I had already enjoyed some Happy Hour specials at another venue, but my wife hadn't yet eaten dinner. She ordered the Gyro & Fries (see picture) and as you might guess, I did try a couple of bites. They've got wide selections of sandwiches and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. The Manhattan is my go-to (Corned Beef, Ham, Salami, Coleslaw & Swiss with Mustard, Mayo & Pickle on an Onion Bun) but I always sub the onion bun out for a hero bun. Every flavor works well with each other, the coleslaw is sweet and contrasts well with the saltiness of the meats, the crunch from the pickle, and finally the mustard cuts into all of them for a beautiful clash of senses in your mouth. Other sandwich pictured is their Tuesday, it's a daily special sandwich you can get on any day. The special pricing won't apply if you get it on another day obviously. The Tuesday was hearty and the cheese on top of it was seasoned well. The peanut butter brownie, very decadent! I don't even like brownies but I always try to snag this one whenever I'm here!
