My husband I love little cafes, so we had to stop here on our way through. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered coffees and water, too bad no french vanilla, but the coffee was good! I ordered the pancake platter with bacon. My husband the B & G with 2 eggs over easy and some sausage links. They did not disappoint. Food was good, portions were huge. Next time I have to remember to do just a half order. The place was packed, but noise level was alright, you can carry a conversation.

Very diner-y vibe. Sitting at the counter enhanced that experience, despite being in a strip mall. It was quite busy around 10am on a Sunday. Clearly a popular choice. I chose the pancake platter which includes 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon (eggs your way and meat options are available). It was HUGE. Seriously, way to much for one human to eat. They had a half order and when my eyes had stopped bugging out over the size of my meal, I was wishing I had chosen the half order. The pancakes were fluffy. Scrambled eggs were good. Bacon had a great flavor. Only reason I didn't rate a five was that Husband had asked for extra crispy hashbrowns, and they definitely were not. Service was great. Overall, a very good experience.

The food is always hot and fresh. This place is always busy, but we always receive good service. It's always very clean. I use the restroom in this visit and it was spotless. Things moved along fairly quickly and I would definitely recommend this place. I don't know about the other food I just know about the breakfast there and it is amazing. I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as phenomenal.

Seated immediately upon arrival on a Sunday morning. Staff was quick to say hello and take our drink orders. We had great service with regular drink refills, and our waitress gave us a heads up on the busy kitchen so we ordered a delicious cinnamon roll for the table appetizer. Our food came out hot and fresh, just as ordered. It was tasty-from the chocolate chip pancakes and waffles to the omelettes and breakfast sandwich. We will be back!

Great food! Eggs and hash browns were both cooked perfectly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because none of the staff wore masks.

Five Hours on the River + Cheba Hut = Damn Near Perfect…read more Went back to Cheba Hut and yep -- still love this place. We came in after about a five-hour float down Beaver Creek, grabbed some drinks, hung out at the bar and demolished an AK-47 French Dip and a Thai Stick. After five hours on the water, it absolutely hit the spot. The bartender was fun, easy to talk to, and added to what we already like about this place -- it just has that laid-back, fun vibe. Good food, good drinks and good conversation. Prices are pretty typical, but if you get there after 8, happy hour kicks in and the bar gets downright cheap. Definitely worth knowing. The AK-47 was hot, cheesy and perfect with the au jus, and the Thai Stick was a great mix of chicken, pineapple, pickles and everything else packed into it. Both sandwiches were loaded and exactly what we needed after being out on the river all day. Cheba Hut has become one of those places we know we can walk into, grab a seat at the bar, relax, eat well and have a good time. Go. We'll be back again and again.

We were just here a few weeks ago and I am so bummed to see they permanently closed!! We came during lunch and took advantage of their weekday lunch combo (Tues-Fri, 11am-2pm), which includes soup and a half grilled cheese. You can choose from the OG, Kick in the Cheese, or Fancy grilled cheese, plus either tomato basil bisque or the soup of the day. Honestly? A dream setup. I ordered the tomato basil bisque with a half OG grilled cheese, and wow... just wow. The soup was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the grilled cheese delivered that classic, beautiful cheese pull moment you hope for (and rarely actually get). The cheese had the perfect amount of sharpness and subtle bitterness, balancing everything out so well without being overwhelming.. I seriously could go for one right now! Every bite was comforting and delicious, and I immediately wished I had ordered a full OG sandwich because it was that good. The combo was mouth‑watering, satisfying, and wildly exceeded expectations for a quick lunch stop.

There were at least 8 people who came in to order while we were there. I can tell it's a lunch favorite. We ordered Grilled Cheese of the Month Quesabirria and it was fantastic I would say it just needed more Consomé. We also ordered their Cuban sandwich and it was really good! This place is a classic hole in the wall but it was very clean!

Looking for a place to grab lunch to go and came across Hungry Boyz…read more Decided to try two sandwiches and asked if they could wrap the halves separately. No problem. The Big Kahuna Tuna. Well this fish out of water wasn't a keeper for me. The bread is so soft and phenomenal. There was plenty of Tuna on this Big Kahuna, and I added lettuce, pickles, jalapeños, onion, and black pepper. Banana Peppers on the other half. The flavor just wasn't hitting for me. The tuna is like a paste, not dry, but not moist. The veggies were very light and added no flavor. I am not a fan of a ton of mayo, but this sandwich needs a flavor injection. That bread is seriously awesome and I am curious if the wheat hits the same. Would definitely let this fish go. It felt like a can of tuna on bread with a light mayo. The Lost Boyz - Ham, Salami, Turkey, Pepperoni, and Provolone with salad dressing, lettuce, tomato, oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano. The flavors in this sandwich are really good, excellent flavor. The veggies again were very light and the meat in the middle was perfect, but 2/3rds through and the meat is scarce. I couldn't really even taste the toppings. This sandwich hits, but it's missing like peppers. That oregano should bring some flavor. This place has real potential and the bread is solid. Very soft, good flavor, and holds up excellent. Need equal meat throughout and add some toppings, like "Dear Sammich Maker please don't be scared to add some meat and toppings so I can taste it ". They seem to be skimping IMO and for the price point pickles, peppers, and onions shouldn't be an issue. A half a slice of tomato on a half isn't much or enough. Maybe subway spoiled me or that other place in town The Madhatter where they take you to flavor town. This just came up short for me. The service is outstanding and it wasn't very busy for lunch. I would stop again and try some other sandwiches if in the area. Would definitely request more toppings.

This will be a regular stop on our drive to Chicago. Happy to report that the drive thru lane moved pretty quickly and by the time we left 30 min later, that had cleared. As far as food goes, we tried the original with fries and the Nashville hot (as a wrap) with brussels sprouts. We both thought our meals were fantastic. I would put their brussels sprouts up against anyone's! The fries were also battered lightly and resulted in a crunchy fry with a nice light flavor. I like that they have a variety of seating inside and it never felt like you needed to vacate your space quickly. In fact, I noticed some shelving with board games, so they definitely welcome groups who want to enjoy good food and hang out. There is a large picnic table for groups or communal seating and some individual stools near the ordering counter for singles or anyone who just wants to sit and watch the world outside those windows. You can get your sandwiches grilled, fried, in a wrap or in a salad. For me, all great options but the original fried is my go to- large, always perfectly cooked and juicy chicken. Outdoor patio seating in addition to indoor and (let me repeat what exceptional service) they find you even when you change your mind and start one place and end in the other.
