Was looking for breakfast spot close by in the Ozone Park and I am glad found 101 Cafe. The breakfast is fresh and tasty when compared to other places. The pancake taste great and is made fresh daily. It is a family business and runs with love. If you visit 101 Cafe, just ask for Mike/NAV who will take care with you and mention Leo refer you.

Old school diner, everyone is polite and the food is always delicious. It's very clean here and the black coffee is really good. I love the free refills and great breakfast specials .

Stuck at JFK so searched for a local spot and came upon this refuge about 10 min away. Wonderfully kind and attentive service and yummy breakfast and coffee, generously refilled with a smile. Just what we needed on a rough morning.

Decent breakfast with decent price. I like the pancake there, well done. Food has good portion. Will come back

One egg, sausages, home fries with toast, juice and coffee or tea

A small local yet very antiquated American diner that offers simple and budget conscious meals known for breakfast and brunch. This small diner's interior is frozen in time of appearance with the standard booth tables, retro metal bar stools bolted to the ground with upholstered seat, white coffee mug wall clock with a moving silver spoon pendulum, wall attached three coffee mugs with steam emitted each imprinted words representing "cappuccino, coffee, latte." I like admiring their coffee mug clock and the three wall coffee mugs. 101 Cafe fends the standard small Mom and Papa business servicing the Southwest Queens, NYC community of Ozone Park. The breakfast menu is extensive yet very simple but a package. Yes, ice cream sodas and milk shakes with one or two scoops of actual ice cream continues to exist here for a throwback to 1910 era. I opt for one egg (any style), three sausages, home fries, toast with butter (jam is given as an option), small juice (apple, orange or cranberry), coffee or tea all inclusive for $7.75. I did not have to wait too long of an eternity for my order to arrive at the table. The female waiter appears baffled as I arrived alone to dine alone... oh well, that is my life now! Service is adequate, attentive and efficient. Patrons' bills are hand written on a "guest check" order pad which adds further to the non-technology 2017 era and rang on a old fashioned manual cash register. Delivery is available. No alcohol. Minimal TV screens are blaring and no annoying boisterously loud background music. Note: Closed Sundays year round.

Consistent and delicious food. I usually get their sausage egg & cheese and iced coffee. It's usually around $6 and they don't take very long to make it. So far it's been one of the best deli SEC I've tried.

I've been here many times over the years, and stopped there right before our Winter weather decided to take a dump on us. I ordered a BLT with extra mayo, fries, coleslaw and some pickles. It was very good. The place is clean and has the sort of decor you'd expect in just about any diner type setting. Now that it's stopped snowing, I was thinking of venturing there again tomorrow for some more. Cheers!

Diners are an American staple for a casual dinning atmosphere serving American cuisine. To me,…read morediners are nostalgic, retro-style features of chrome stools bolted to the floor, booth tables, the hustle of staff, bus boys handling bus tubs for table clean-up and laminated large spiral book menus. Diners remind me of Edward Hopper's "Nighthawks" 1942 painting which encapsulate the atmospheric setting of an urban diner at night. I enter as usual, as a party of one, and the Maître d' ushered me to sit at a booth. I waited and waited to be service again. The male waiter at first took my order and subsequently later provided water. I needed cold water on a hot summer day for a cool down. This restaurant has its Independence Day holiday decorations lingering which is very simple and minimal. The menu has a Victorian horse carriage image with the driver dressed in black jacket suit coat tail and black top hat. This business name Esquire is relatable with attorneys. I have always worked with attorneys (past and present) and find them intelligent with perspective. The Original Worlds Fair $18.85 Saturday brunch for Belgian waffles and fresh strawberries with whipped cream was delicious. It was fresh, fluffy and delicious at $18.85 + NYC tax = totaling $20.50. I hoped for strawberry syrup the same embedded on ice cream as topping. I am always enamored with strawberries. The male waiter provided pancake syrup and butter for reasonable accommodation request. This male waiter did check-in during my meal which I was astonished and appreciative that I am, at long last, NOT invisible. Oh! I am human. I am a customer. I often dine alone. I exist to matter. I am one life in the smallest measurement. The check bill is distributed the old school way - handwritten on a claim check form perforated at the top. The air conditioner is fully functioning and I sustained a phlegmatic disposition. Facilities is relatively clean.

There are lots of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This diner offered a discount for paying by cash. I ordered a breakfast of 2 eggs, ham and hash brown with rye bread. My grandson ordered a chicken panini. We were both happy with our food. I loved that they gave a free orange juice or coffee with the breakfast order. The sausage tasted stale, the egg portion was quite small, and the pancakes were a bit tough to cut through. The French toast was good and was probably the highlight of the meal. I also ordered the pancakes with Nutella, but they were very bland. Instead of simply drizzling Nutella on top in circles, it would have been much better if the Nutella had been incorporated into the pancakes themselves for more flavor. The service was decent, but I had to repeatedly ask for coffee refills, which was disappointing. Another concern was that the diner does not provide plastic utensils, nor do they offer hot water to sanitize the silverware if requested. The ambiance can also be an issue depending on where you are seated. The restaurant was very loud, and the tables are placed very close together, causing customers to frequently bump into chairs while moving around. Overall, my experience was satisfactory, but there is definitely room for improvement in both the food quality and dining experience.

The place is charming not big but its really a fast food place not a restaurant. I tried their chicken sandwich and it was amazing! Service was ok and wait times for food were a little slow but nothing bad. Staff were friendly and they work their butts off! I think the only complaint i might have is i wish they had more variety of food, maybe a few simple entree's. Would definitely go back and eat here.

The buffalo chicken sandwich was VERY spicy but delicious. Crisp fries were on point. Wings were large and great crisp lemon pepper rub was just the right blend and the sweet chili was not 'hot' at all (which was great for me). I had the best mozzarella sticks ever with just right marina sauce. Absolutely excellent service. Place was not crowded and thus one person (Anthony) was all roles except the cook and was very expedient! It is a local neighborhood restaurant and thus the ambience reflects that....so while the chairs don't encourage sitting for long time and the outside does not scream come in, the music was really good and had us singing along. When back in NYC, will definitely return.
