Up near Columbus for work and saw this place on Yelp had really great reviews. Also didn't hurt that they offered a free order of their housemade tater tots if you checked in on Yelp. We did just that and they didn't disappoint! Staff had good recommendations including a few evening specials. I went with one of the specials...bone-in pork chop with balsamic artichokes. Meal was hot and flavored well. Drink menu was also unique and the house 101 Old Fashioned was spot on! No room for dessert but it all looked amazing. read more

This was the first 101 Beer Kitchen I had visited. I enjoyed the wings very much, and they left an impression on me to the point that I was really excited to see that one opened up in my neighborhood. I've had the burger and fries, the lobster roll, the pizza and the chicken wings. The burger is, by far, my favorite meal to get here. It's delicious, and I've had it cooked to perfection more times than not. The veggies are always fresh, and the fries that accompany the burger are still on point. The lobster roll is probably on par with the burger in my eyes here. The only issue is that they only have it available seasonally. The lobster is quite tender and really melts in your mouth. The combinations of flavors are delicious but not substantial. The toasted bun it comes on is just fantastic and adds another level of texture to it. The pizza, on the other hand, is quite underwhelming. The service here can be hit or miss at times. Overall it is pretty good. We love 101 Beer Kitchen. Of the dozen or so times eating here, each time has been great. Start your meal off with the wedge salad. I know that probably sounds like a boring recommendation. And anywhere else that might be the case. But not here. They make their own blue cheese. And it sets the tone for a salad that tastes far better than any salad you may expect. The seasonal menu is ever changing so it's hard to make a recommendation from there. But we've never been let down. All the food is wonderful. My wife and I stopped in tonight for dinner. We were beyond impressed with how well this company has responded to the COVID pandemic. Menus have been replaced with online menus and there are guidelines posted for your comfort. Beyond the COVID updates, the food was delicious! we had been talking about giving 101 Beer Kitchen a try for a while and the other night we were able to! they closed at 11, we got there at 10 so we were probably one of the last ones to be seated. though, that did not effect the service that we received. our server, Samantha was great! she was very attentive. she did not make us feel rushed and we felt like our experience was very good! on top of excellent service, the food was even better! we ordered the smoked wings as an appetizer. i ordered the crispy lemon chicken and my girlfriend got the tortilla crusted chicken sandwich. both dishes were very flavorful and great portions for the price. i had enough to take home :) which is always a plus! i normally am not a fan of smoked wings because i feel like they can taste a little burnt and dry, but these wings were AMAZING! very tasty and not dry at all! the crusted lemon chicken was perfectly crispy! the lemon herb sauce was great. overall a great experience and i would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!! read more

Finally I remembered to take a few pictures. For starters my wife had the steak with red potatoes. I grabbed a few of her potatoes and they were delicious. They seasoning on them was very tasty. I ordered the the Pecan Chicken, wanted to try something different. I had side of mashed potatoes and green beans. I have no idea what the sauce was but it was delicious. I think my wife like it as well, she kept trying the chicken and potatoes. Guess I was lucky there were two large breast. This is by far my new spot for brunch in Columbus! First of all, the atmosphere is fantastic. A nice rustic feel and look. Second is top notch service. From the moment we sat down at the bar we were taken care of be it drinks, small talk, knowledge of the beer menu and talking us through the food menu. How often have you asked a waiter's opinion and gotten wishy washy answers or the, "I don't really know" response? Not here. Our waiter took time to tell us about each item and get our input on what we were looking for. I ended up with an awesome local Gose beer and hands down the best Corn Beef Hash I've ever had! Both came highly recommended and for good reason. So third is obviously the food and beer selection. The Corn Beef Hash was plentiful with a perfect balance of flavors coming from the poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. I'll note that this was our waiter's second favorite item on the brunch menu behind the Low Country Benedict. My buddy ordered that and was equally blown away. So much so, we almost reordered each dish to swap! The beer selection was varied and I was able to find several I haven't tried before which is always a plus for me. My partner and I were so impressed from start to finish. The server was pleasant and excited about the menu, the patio seating was nice, the cocktail menu was interesting and extensive, and the food was out of the world. We started with two spicy bloody Mary's and loaded tater tots, and for our main course we split the al pastor sandwich and some black bean soup. Later on, a man (manager/owner?) came out to welcome us because he knew it was our first time there. This is the way a restaurant should be. Everything about the experience was top notch. Great place to grab dinner and a couple of beers. The food, service and ambiance all show off this upscale gastropub. They have some really fun, unique food. We started with the loaded toys and pretzels with beer cheese. The tots were exceptional. The pretzels were not, though I could dip my shoe in the beer cheese and it would suddenly become edible. We then shared their shaved Brussels sprouts pizza and a wedge salad - both were outstanding. Since we had such good food last time, we decided to order from here again and as my sister has two small children, figured it would be best to order to go. I am so tempted to give up on this place since they aren't consistent with the food that they give when the order is to go. The first time I was charged for a bowl and got the equivalent of a very tiny cup (even two of the small "cups" would have barely made a bowl) but I wouldn't have complained. The last time the salad was a good size so it didn't matter that the soup was so small. I made a point to specify bowl over the phone this time and had the person talking to me over the phone read the entire order. Bowl of soup? Check. Salad? Check. Got home and had the same sized soup (barely a cup) and the salad was even extremely skimpy for what you are paying for. I want to like this place and I really wish we had the means to sit down and eat there but I'm not sure it will ever happen and after this last experience, I'm not rushing back. The pierogis were interesting but I'm not sure I would order again. Overall, I could have had a second meal because it did not fill us up and it wasn't cheap either. We have always enjoyed all the dishes we have ordered at 101 Beer Kitchen in Dublin. The staff is always attentive, and courteous. And the food is always prepared with high standards. We particularly enjoy that portions of their menu are seasonal, and will change with the seasons. Their beer selection is very good, and a rotating selection on tap is a nice feature. The southern stack BLT appetizer was soooo good! Though it's a bit pricey considering you only get three small stacks. I also didn't like that I couldn't get a flight of beer. They bill themselves as rustic food and by jolly that's what you get: quality ingredients backed by a kitchen that makes a few questionably stylistic choices (cutting against the grain of the steak in the wonderful salad, using unsweetened peaches for their pie of the day), but absolutely flavorful dishes that delight anyone with a palate that steers towards the savory. Their beer selection, by their very nature, is thankfully top-notch. Their service is also fantastic even during high-pressure, high-volume situations. I take friends here with confidence if I absolutely know I need a place that can grease throats and coat stomachs with aplomb without hitting pocket-books TOO hard. First of all.. Great place to watch a football game AND eat great food. This is not typical bar food. The service was great.. we were seated immediately, and the waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. After debating between many options, I had the Tortilla Crusted Chicken Sandwich which had a nice kick of spice to it. My friend loved the Carnivore Pizza and loved it. I've been here about 6 times now and have sampled almost everything on the menu. Things have been great for the most part except one time when the hostesses completely screwed our party telling us the wait time was 10 minutes while we waited almost an hour and a half. This place is great, they just need to work on what to do when they have groups larger than 6, which is the biggest their tables can seat. I would love to bring my extended family here if they could seat large groups better! I'm not one of these whiney hipsters that gets upset, never says anything, then goes home and writes a bad review. I tell someone if I have a problem, I'm a tough customer but faithful if you treat me well. Kendra and Thad took care of use and made things right. I suggest talking to either one of them if you have any issues, don't get mad over something not right, they will work hard to take care of you! Let's start with the beers....they change fast. My first time I had a Victory Festbier which was awesome...the next time I went the menu changed. I then had something from somewhere else and it too was gone next time as well. This is good and bad... Good because you get to try new stuff all the time...bad because if you find something you like it might not be back! This too can happen with the menu as it will be changing 4 times a year. One of my favorite parts of the menu...everything is $15 or less. The food is way underpriced...I've paid more than double for shitty appetizers at chain restaurants as well as entrees. This place is a bargain based on the taste, quality, and portion of food. As with all of my reviews, I'm a local kinda guy and this place buys local and serves local. Here is what I think of the current menu: Appetizers. The butternut squash perogies are pretty much like crack...so good you can't stop yourself from eating more. We get this every time we come in. Loaded tater tots...pretty darn good. Deviled eggs...this is actually the only thing on the menu I didn't like. I disliked it so much I complained and they took it off my bill. They just tasted odd to me. I was so excited this was on the menu as I loved deviled eggs. Everything else on the menu has been done well and different...these may be a bit too much different. I would gladly give them my grandma's recipe and I bet in a blind taste test they'd win. Soups and Salads. The Ale and Cheddar soup is amazing. I've only ever had soup like this at a place in Michigan where it was $150 for my wife and I to eat. It's got a very interesting, thick, almost grainy consistency to it...a very hearty soup. The pork croutons are just icing on the cake. My wife and I usually split the bowl. The wedge salad is almost a meal in itself...it definitely is if you add grilled chicken. And adding chicken doesn't mean just a tiny bit of dry chicken...this chicken is spiced right, cooked right with lots of flavor and is as big as two of the chicken patties on a McDonalds fried chicken sandwhich. The salad is fresh, green, with just the right amount of toppings. My wife gets this every time and she can cut it right down the middle and split it with someone else easily. Sandwhiches. The 101 burger is huge, and great...but go to a burger joint, try the other food here. The grilled salmon burger is pretty darn good, big dark bread, big piece of salmon, i ended up with half a sandwhich the next day for lunch. The pork schnitzel was the first thing I tried and while it was good, it wasn't my thing. It too was huge. The Autumn grilled cheese is very different and a good choice for lunch. You get two sandwhiches, lots of onions and cheese...my kids like the beet chips but I love the fries here so I have them swapped out. The Harvest pizza is amazing...sweet and salty, lots of flavor. The Forest pizza is great too. I wish you could order then thin crust and crispy The Baslamic Marinated Steak is probably the best thing on the menu. This thing has so much flavor and is so tender it almost melts in your mouth. The Herb Roasted Chicken is so full of flavor I'm not sure how they did it...the chicken they put on the salads is similar, but this has more to it. This is also one of my wife's favorites The kids menu is amazing. They serve them on orange trays and let the kids pick from an assortment of sides. Our kids usually share one meal and get fries and apple slices as a side, then we have them switch the dessert for grapes. My one daughter is gluten free so they will make her grilled chicken at no extra charge if she wants. The desserts are awesome. The chocolate mouse is thick and rich. The pumpkin bread pudding is one of the best bread puddings I've had. The salted caramel pot du creme is like a creme brule without the carmelized top...and it has big pieces of rock salt on the top. read more

After reading the many glowing reviews I finally got to have lunch here with my brother. While this strip center location is no showplace it hides a warm inviting open space with large windows that highlight the simple but tasteful decor. Keeping this review simple, a great menu with a wide selection of items that would please most tastes. Paired with dynamic team service makes this place earn it's 5th star from me. OK, time for me to gush. The Pretzel Crusted Chicken Sandwich was a full juicy breast that was ever so lightly breaded but still had that wonderful pretzel "crunch" to each bite on a nice roll of substance with smoked gouda cheese, petals of spinach, poblano mayo and tomato jam. I love, love, love 101 Beer Kitchen! It is one of my absolute favorite places for brunch. The vibe is great, they keep a bottle of lotion in the bathroom, the food is fantastic, jalapeno vodka makes for a top notch Bloody Mary.....I could go on and on. The staff is on point - and considerate. Today my daughter had her arms in her shirt - without us asking, they turned the air down and came over to tell us they noticed she was cold. Service is attentive - even the slightest delay in getting back to you, is acknowledged. From what I hear the owners originally wanted to open a brewery, and this is the near term plan while they work on the long term goal. I had the Apple buttered grilled cheese, and the Mac and cheese (with andouille sausage and blue cheese). A couple Ballast Point IPA's washed it all down. Fantastic place to grab some great brews, excellent food and great conversation. The place gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so plan accordingly. read more
