Vermicelli with grilled chicken, shrimp and egg roll.

Every time I do get a chance to eat at 108, I can say the service we get here is exceptional! You'll get a family vibe coming into 108 and that's how you'll feel with the service you'll get from the owner. Usually I would order the Vermicelli with chicken, shrimp and egg rolls. But I'm glad I did, because everything was seasoned perfectly and the fish sauce to add on salad was perfect! Very satisfying and a whole lot of food!!!

Back again for take out and really enjoyed my meal! The restaurant was fairly empty dropping by around 2:30pm on a Saturday afternoon, a handful of tables eating in. I know competition for Vietnamese food is tough in the Seattle area though this place is consistently delicious, service is friendly and helpful, food is ready very quickly, prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Pho is solid, the meat is fresh. Bun (rice vermicelli) bowls are very good, the grilled meats are well-marinated. Will be back if I'm in the area!

On my first visit, I ordered Bun Bo Hue. When it arrived, I could instantly smell the broth. It smelled rich and full of umami. The slight aroma of the shrimp paste made me eager to taste the broth. It was everything I imagined and more. It was one of the most satisfying bun bo hue broths I have ever had. The soup was filled with meat and had my favorite, pork hock. On my second visit, I ordered the Special Rice or Egg Noodle soup with egg noodles. The broth was light, but savory & so satisfying. Again plenty of meat and the noodles were perfect. On my last visit, went back to the bun Bo hue because it's just one of faves & also ordered fresh spring rolls with grilled pork. The rolls are huge & a great value for the money. The broth was just as delicious but my noodles were lack luster. They were broken and not cooked as much as I prefer them to be. On my visits, service has always been good. The people are nice and friendly. I did notice that some foods come out quickly like pho where as some of the other soups can take up to 20 minutes or so. No complaints from me as the soup comes out piping hot & fresh. Good and authentic food.

The server was super nice. Let me request changes. I got grilled chicken instead of the stringy white chicken that is usually in pho, and egg noodles. Though I should have stuck with the white noodles in hindsight. I just wanted to try it out. The spring rolls were absolutely delicious! The price was kinda high for a single person eating pho at $31, but I guess that's the price to eat out alone now. The restaurant was very clean. I'll be back for sure.

Being from Houston, I am particularly picky when it comes to pho and the Seattle area's pho scene definitely leaves something to be desired. However, 108 has probably been my favorite spot so far in the area for great pho. Broth is rich and packed with all the right notes and flavors and a generous serving and selection of different meats for the combination pho. Noodles were the right texture and not overcooked like so many of the pho places I've tried. This is definitely more of a mom and pop type of shop and the interior or service isn't anything to rave about, but if you're looking for a solid bowl of pho, you should definitely swing by the next time you're in the Kent area or stopping by IKEA.

I wanted to try something different and the reviews and pictures on Yelp looked yummy. I called in a to go order consisting of a fresh shrimp roll and fresh pork roll and the special fried rice. I asked them to add some broccoli also. When I walked in everything looked good all the Vietnamese decorations and things like that. The person who I paid said there were three items, and he may have said what they were but I guess I assumed that the order was correct. I didn't actually eat the food for a couple of hours. When I did open it to eat, I found the shrimp rolls and pork rolls, and I also found what I think is called the combination rice dish.. so not quite what I ordered, but it tasted pretty good. I'll probably give them another try.

When we walked in, there was a smell of cigarette as if i walked into a smoking portion of the casino but it eventually went away. (we don't smoke so it wasnt us. lol) Food was surprisingly good despite having an OKAY food rating. Sorry if the only picture i got was the spring rolls but those are really good. they were made fresh unlike a restaurant that we've been to before and you can tell it was pre-made. But anyways, we also got Banh Xeo which i thought tasted a little burnt and a little too oily but flavor-wise it was good. Then we had to try their Beef Stew with Egg noodle. It was delicious but since they garnished it with Cilantro, it was overpowering the beef stew flavor. Service was ok. There's a bit of a language barrier since we actually said no mint or basil on our spring roll but it still got added on there which is not too big of a deal. Atmosphere was clean although it looks like they only had the server and 1 cook in the back working so there were few dirty tables from previous customers when we got in. Bathroom was clean and well lit. Prices were reasonable as well. All in all was good

The service was good at this place but we really didn't care for the pho. Ordered the spring rolls and Pho Ga, the chicken in the Pho Ga was in huge chunks and really dry the broth wasn't very good, had an odd taste. The spring rolls came with a good sauce but the rolls themselves were just okay. They also had some soap opera playing on the TV and the volume was crazy loud which was really annoying. read more

One other table and I walked out. The service is excruciatingly slow with no apologies. 30 minutes and still no bowls of pho. It's the easiest thing to make, should be quick and fast. I walked up to the counter to ask how long it would be and the girl literally said "you need to wait". Wait my ass! I left and a couple who came in after left too. BAD service. After reading the reviews, we're glad we didn't have pho. read more

We've been coming here for over a year now. One of my hubby's coworkers took him here for lunch then he brought me. It's a family owned restaurant close to Ikea. No ambiance to speak of but they do make some delicious bahn mi sandwiches. I prefer mine without the scrambled egg but hubby loves it just as it is. Nothing beats their special sauce or the price! Just watch out for speed bumps and pot holes in the parking lot. read more

This is a must go if you like Banh Mi. They have the best Banh Mi in the Seattle area, and also really good Vermicelli! I usually grab the Vermicelli for dinner, and order a Banh Mi to go for lunch the next day! read more

Crap service, ok food. This lady server reached over my 5month old baby with some hot food, when my wife politely asked if she could not do that again, in fear of spilling the food on baby or knocking over the car seat. The server's attitude totally changed. Dropped off my Vietnamese coffee and literally threw the straw at us. I said out loud,"thank you for throwing that!" (Sarcastically). My wife's drink came later with no ice, our food came last in our party of 17(We were 2nd to order). had to ask 3 times just for a box. Pho broth tasted ok, but by the time I got it, I already loss my appetite. To the lady server, sorry if we hurt your feelings but maybe next time, use some common sense and NOT REACH OVER BABIES WITH HOT FOOD!!!!!!! read more

mmm - fantastic rice dishes. We get the one that has everything on it: rice, pork chop, prawn, shredded pork, egg, quiche - mix it all together and all I can say is yummy. The vermacelli dishes are also good, but they are know for the rice dishes with the big prawns. read more

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Everything I've ever ordered tasted good and well prepared. I especially like their egg rolls but they have amazing rice dishes as well. I've been here multiple times and their customer service is outstanding. The owner is so sweet and she always serves fruit at the end of the meal. Definitely a must try! My only complaint is I wish they had a location in Bellevue!! read more

By far one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. My boyfriend and I were regulars here when we stayed in Kent. The owner always greets us with a huge smile and quick service. Usually we always order the same thing so he would know and ask if that's what we are getting. I love the number 65 (rice plate with beef short ribs and a jumbo prawn and an egg) and my boyfriend would get the combination pho. The prices are great for the quality and sizes. They have a lot of options from noodle soups, rice plates and even family meals. Last time I went in the owner asked us "Did you guys move I haven't seen you guys in so long!" or when my boyfriend goes without me he would ask "where's your girlfriend?" He is so kind, maybe what makes the food tastes even better. I think I'm actually now craving that #65 writing this review lol might have to make a visit soon! read more

Love it! Convenient location - although it's a little hidden away (behind the Harbor Freight store) but now that I've found it... I'm so glad. Uncle makes everyone feel like family. He's always happy and welcoming. He treats the kids like family - he'll put on cartoons on one of the big tvs. He brings out a bowl of pho for my daughter right off the bat because he knows she loves her noodles. The portions are huge and the prices are fair. I've tried their rice plates, noodle salad bowl, pho, and can't wait to try more... Yummy! read more

I love this spot for lunch - it is near my work. The staff is always so nice, and the food quick and awesome. Everything is beautifully fresh and tastes awesome. I found my favorite dish, and can't get past it! Other items I have tried on the menu are wonderful as well. read more

I was looking for some southeast asian style congee and found this place on Yelp. They had it and it was good! I was so happy. Make sure to get it with the ginger sauce because that stuff is amazing! A lot of other stuff on the menu were pretty good like the pho and grilled chicken. I wouldn't recommend the fresh spring rolls or smoothies though. Great customer service! read more

I'm half Vietnamese so I have had my fair share of Vietnamese cooking to say the least. I started with a nice appetizer of grilled pork. It was seasoned to perfection. Almost as if my mom was in the kitchen working. For an entree I ordered the Pho with everything but tripe in it. It was some of the best I've had. Not too sweet or overly spiced. Just right. The people next to me ordered the rice plate with grilled pork and prawns and it was enough for two. This place does it right. And the prices are pretty low. The icing on the cake was the owners. Very nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place. So Phoking good read more

Been here twice and I love it. First time going there I got the crab and beef rice dish. It was delicious. A lot of flavor too! The guy that helped us is really nice. He even put cartoons up for the kids. Second time I got congee. He put in extra eggs and meat. ''fo you i put extra, don't worry bout the price'' hahah he's so funny. read more

Nice quiet restaurant. The owner who was also our waiter was very energetic and gave us excellent recommendations. We came in towards the end of the day and he explained to us he was trying to get rid of some excess inventory so we got huge portions. I did have to knock off one star because our pho noodles were slightly overcooked but everyone's rice dishes looked and smelled amazing. I will be back. read more

I used to be a regular there, but I haven't been there for a while till a few days ago. The place was dead. I was the only one there. I ordered the pho, and it wasn't as tasty as it was before. Did it change ownership? The quality of food has gone down. The good thing is that the price is still very reasonable. read more

Our go to spot for pho. Really good broth and great service. I always ask for lemon for my water, this place already puts lemon in their water. I'm sure this restaurant would be consistently busy, if it was more visible from the street. I'd definitely recommend this spot. read more

I've ate a lot of Pho, because let's be honest- nothing beats Pho after a night out on the town. This place rocks because the owners are cool, the food is great and predictable, and finally it is CLEAN. To me, if you got all three of those things at a Pho spot, you're in the green. Not to mention this place is right next to a major Asian market - so if you need to get some shopping done, even better! read more

Went there last Saturday with my daughter and we had a blast! Great owner who will bring a smile to all faces, he even through in a extra meatball for my daughter's pho and I never had a empty water glass, now that's customer service! Been a Pho fan for about 5 years and it's one of my top three places...BIG servings of meat and noodles..and I Love that! Would have graded a 5 but had to ask for chop sticks, apparently us white guys use forks???? ;-) I WILL BE BACK... read more

My wife and I eat here at least once a week and have done so for over a year. The owner and his wife are ALWAYS attentive and very helpful. I am never let down by the Pho, no matter what one I order. However, to broaden my knowledge of the cuisine, I always ask what do they recommend. I am NEVER let down with their recommendations. Whatever I get it always tastes good. My only negative comment is that the servings are LARGE. But,every bite is goooood! read more

Best Vietnamese sandwiches!!!!! Trust me!! It's not on the menu and you have the just order it but they know what they're doing! I've never had a Vietnamese sandwich that has a fried egg on it and the dressing they use omg!!! Try it and see for yourself! And the staff here is amazing! I love coming here because it's probably the only Vietnamese place that has excellent service and the people working actually want to be here. I love this place! read more

Fresh, fast, good, & cheap. We ordered 2 orders of the spring rolls, the beef stew, & the bun bo hue totaling $26! All was very good & flavorful!! I don't need to go all the way to Seattle to get good bun bo hue as I tried another Vietnamese pho restaurant in Kent & it wasn't too good, but here was great! Both of the soups had very tender meat in it and the portion was big. I Recommend this place, especially around the area if you don't want to go all the way to Seattle. Will try the pho next time. read more

Used to be our favorite Pho restaurant in Renton, Kent area. Today's Pho came with soup that was too salty and not very savory. I finished just about a third of the bowl. My wife noticed the same. Is it just us, or have you experienced a "change in recipe" from these people? Service was fine, and the place is clean. I used to agree to the 4, 5 star reviews previous to the visit today. read more

Portion sizes are smaller and pricing matches, respectfully, so you can try different things. I'd say as an adult, you could order a couple plates and you'd be more than full. Food was 3.5-4. Sorry, I can't confidently rate it any higher than a 4. We had to try the beef noodle soup 3.5/5. Broth was good. Vegetables were romaine lettuce which wasn't authentic, but fine. Beef was definitely on the leaner side and definitely tougher (maybe because it was so lean), so maybe this was to cater to western tastes? I ordered a beef salad, chicken satay, and a side of rice. The dine-in menu I was given did not list any prices, which I found unusual, but I didn't think to ask before ordering. When I received the bill, the beef salad was $25, the chicken satay was $15, and the side of rice was $5. The chicken satay is listed online for $10 before tax, so I was surprised to be charged $15. The final total was significantly more than I expected for these three items. I regularly order these same types of dishes at other Thai restaurants and typically spend under $40. I would have been perfectly fine paying more if the prices had been clearly posted, but being presented with significantly higher prices after ordering left me feeling taken advantage of. My advice to future customers: ask for the price of every item before ordering, especially if the menu doesn't show prices. Again, the food was good, but the pricing transparency needs serious improvement. I hope the restaurant addresses this because customers should know what they're going to be charged before they order.

They have plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate all party sizes. They do have a bathroom but you have to go through a long, scary hallway to get to it. The tables have probably the cutest container for their chili oil but I appreciate that they have napkins, sriracha, hoisin, and utensils on the table. The employees don't really check in often and they didn't really come by to fill our waters until we were down with our meal. The service was also pretty much non-existent, it wasn't rude but just felt rushed and cold.

I recently returned to 108 Restaurant for the first time in a few years, and I'm happy to say it's just as good as I remembered! We came by on a weekend evening and were surprised to see it was only us and one other table dining in. Despite that, our server was incredibly kind and attentive, checking in on us often and being very patient throughout. I ordered the combination pho ($14), and while the menu only showed one price and size, our server asked if I wanted a M, L, or XL bowl. I went with the medium, which ended up being the perfect amount. The broth was clean and aromatic, the meats were tender and plentiful, and the noodles had just the right amount of chew. I also appreciated how fresh the toppings were, especially the basil and bean sprouts, which really elevated the dish. Their menu is a combination of Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Not a huge menu but the dishes are of good quality and quality entree options over quantity for sure. The ingredients are fresh and some of their dishes are very uniquely made here and not seen in other Vietnamese restaurants! Definitely come try their own unique creations. We ordered the following for lunch: 1. Red Pho: Pho with reddish broth due to the spices. Never seen it anywhere so we gave it a try. It is like a lighter version of Bun Bo Hie broth but with pho noodles and proteins. 2. Caramelized shrimp with steam eggs: A rice dish with a blanket of eggs and sautéed caramelized savory and sweet shrimp (tôm rim). The flavors of the shrimp is DELICIOUS! Honestly if that entree comes by itself with some steamed veggies, that would have been like home cooking mom makes! The savory and sweetness of the sauce for the shrimp is just spot on! The shrimp is perfectly cooked, not over cooked at all! 3. Milk Tea for dessert and it was perfectly made: not too sweet and you can really taste the black tea flavor coming out with the cream. Very good!! Their quality is superb and there were so many items we would have loved to try but there was no way we could have tried them all in 1 sitting. Will have to return for sure! We ordered sandwiches and drinks the next day. The Vietnamese coffee and peach tea were good, not too sweet. As for the sandwiches, the bread itself is thicker than most banh mi bread but the flavors of the sandwiches are delicious! Perfectly prepared with all the fixings. I am just very impressed with the quality of the food and the flavors, the friendliness and hospitality of the wife as a waitstaff and the amazing food from her husband, the chef. Come try this place if you haven't. It is top notch: Amazing and delicious food!

I've always wanted to try this dish because it looks pretty good and when I did try it, I was not disappointed. The chicken was marinated just right. It had a sweet and salty taste to it even though it was fried and with the pickled veggies, they complimented it more. I would definitely order this dish again. The dessert drink with grass jelly and coconut milk is amazing delicious!! I really like the owner here she is super kind and always smiling. They're really busy in here, but her service is always good to us. As for the ambiance, the place is small, cozy and warm. It can get pretty loud in there because of how busy they get.

So I decided to get a ban MI and there was hardly any sauce in it at all, it was really dry. There wasn't much meat in it either. It feels like a nice authentic viet place but the lady serving seemed annoyed before I even sat down. I like the atmosphere, but maybe it was just an off day.
