Place was great had a great experience the times I was there. Some people like Fred who take pictures of employees is unprofessional and if theirs a problem you and if you need to speak to management you can do so. Yes they close at 9pm maybe you shouldn't go to a restaurant when it's 2 mins before close. People feel to in titled sometimes. These people also have family they would like to go home to when they have working all day. Minimal Service - Food not up to pricing. Ordered the Chicken Piccata with Gnocchi and was brought Chicken Alfredo with large chunk chicken (not on menu) without asking if I wanted it or that my order was not available. Waiter did not come back to ask if we needed more drinks, coffee or dessert. Just handed us the bill and left. read more

Busy Friday night, table of 2 was over an hour wait so we sat at the bar. Our bartender was personable and friendly but we did have to grab her attention a few times. My sisters and I made a trip to Albany yesterday for shopping, and stopped at 110 Grill for lunch for the first time. The restaurant was extremely clean, and the were managing seating between tables of diners perfectly, which made it comfortable to eat indoors and feel safe, and this isn't something I take lightly. All the service staff was very friendly, including our waiter, Dave (David?). I have to eat gluten-free because of health reasons, this is not a lifestyle choice for me. I love that A: they have an ENTIRE gluten-free menu; and B: it's displayed prominently as you come in, so someone like me knows right away. I've been eating gluten-free for about 10 years. This is the first and only time I've had a real, full, gluten-free menu, not just a little corner of the regular menu, or a few starred items. It may seem trivial, but it means a lot. Dave asked immediately if any of us had food allergies, and then took the time to explain that they are a from-scratch restaurant, which makes it easier for them to cater to special dietary needs. He explained the special care they take to avoid cross-contamination. Everything was done exactly as he said it would be. The food came up pretty quickly, and it was steaming hot! My non gluten-free sisters ordered a burger with sweet potato fries, and a lobster roll with onions strings. I had the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, and had a choice of the chicken fried with gluten-free breading, or grilled. I opted for fried because oh, my God it's been so long since I had a choice of anything but grilled, and I got the garlic mashed potatoes as my side. My sisters raved about their meals, and my lobster roll sister is fussy about a good lobster roll. My sandwich was wonderful. The breading was crispy (I could have cried with happiness) the portions quite generous, and the mashed potatoes are fantastic. At one point I was sitting there with the bowl of potatoes in one hand and eating them with my fork, and one sister gave me a look like, What the hell are you doing? I told her, Don't bug me, I'm into my potatoes right now! We were very happy, and we'll absolutely be back. One suggestion--NOT a complaint. If you don't eat gluten-free you don't know this. Gluten-free bread and rolls are made with a large proportion of rice flour, and rice absorbs moisture like crazy. The rolls or bread always have to be toasted or grilled to have a nice crust, not a slight tan, and they take longer to grill than wheat breads do. Grilling or toasting keeps the roll from soaking up the moisture from the food and disintegrating, which the bottom of my roll did. (This didn't stop me from finishing off that chicken with my fork, mind you!) And one favor to ask: could I have the ingredients and proportions of that fantastic breading used on the chicken? I'd like to be able to reproduce that at home. But believe you me, we'll be back, and we'll definitely recommend 110 Grill. Many thanks! read more

Wanted to come in here for a bite to eat, but nobody was out front to greet us. After about 4 minutes of waiting, a waitress showed up, then another waitress, but instead of greeting us they decided to have a conversation amongst each other for about 5 minutes before one of them turning to us to say there was a 15 minute wait even though the place didn't look busy. Super uncomfortable to be ignored for that long. read more

Plenty of choices of appetizers to share, and the bar staff are quick, efficient and super friendly for being such a busy place. Awesome selection of craft beers. My friends and I went here for happy hour and had a great time! The bartender was super informative and friendly and made great drinks. We ordered some appetizers, The Buffalo chicken nachos, the tater tot poutine, and the buffalo wings. They were all fantastic only thing I would change would be if their wings or crispier . I am basing this review off of 3 visits. The first 2 times the service was good, as well as the food. This last visit, I took my daughter for the first time and we were lucky enough to get Lawrence as our bar server. Lawrence was very friendly and accommodating. (We bonded momentarily over my bourbon choice) My daughter ordered the cajun style salmon with jasmine rice and fries, and I ordered the mushroom demi sirloin, medium rare. The wait was minimal and both dishes were excellent. The best part of the meal for me however is the Crispy Fried Pickle Chips.--Luckily my daughter was with me this time so I didn't eat the entire order myself. The entire meal was very relaxing and Lawrence and Mimi checked on us regularly. On a side note, 110 Grill is opening a new restaurant in Latham, NY which is closer to my home. If the service, bourbon choices and food aren't as good as my last experience, I will drive a little further to Crossgates. read more

The menu looks amazing. Unfortunately that's where it all ends. We had 5 adults and three kids. It took no less than 15 minutes for me hem to even take our drink order. Another 15 minutes or so for us to get them. When we did get them one of the 4 beers that was ordered was wrong. The 2 appetizers that we ordered came 10 minutes or so apart. Then when the kids food came out one of the orders was missing. About an hour in we finally got our food three of the four burgers we got were over cooked and the fourth burger came out as a beef burger when a turkey burger was ordered with everyone's fries being cold and nearly inedible. To be fair this could be a one off but based off of this experience i cannot give them another try. There are better places to go to for sure read more

after reading the good reviews I'm wondering if I was at the same restaurant. 5-10 minutes after being seated we finally got menus. Waitress took our order & eventually brought my coffee, in a cup (not mug), no saucer, no spoon. Stirred it with my fork, went to sip & noticed the cup was dirty. Waited another 5 minutes for waitress to pass by & showed her the dirty cup. All she said was "I'll get another. 2nd cup came (still no saucer or spoon) & yup it was just as dirty as the first. After another 5-10 minutes our food came & I showed her the dirty cup #2. She didn't even bother to say anything, just took it away & brought cup #3. Now I'm thinking 3rd time is the charm but.... nope! Meal's finished, no water, 3 dirty cups of coffee, no spoon. Not pleasant at all. read more

Let me start with the fact that this place is gluten-free. It doesn't have a couple gluten free options-it has a full menu of 30+ items that are gluten-free. Plus, most of their core menu items are gluten-free whether you order it that way or not. They use sustainable food practices, which means more humane meats and fish items. Everything is made to order- nothing in the freezer and nothing pre-prepared. Drinks are amazing. Food is more amazing. The knowlegeability of food allergies is absolutely top notch. This is a welcome edition to the Albany area. We will be back. I can't wait to try more of the menu and HAVE the ability to try something new each time we go. Big shout out to our waiter Rich! I've only gone one time, but it was a great experience. The place is in the mall, a little small and partially in the open, but my hostess allowed my friend and I to choose our booth, which was a little more tucked away. Our server Amy was accommodating and friendly, and the chef offered to create a dipping sauce after we asked if he had any raspberry sauce for our sweet potatoes. It was like a raspberry and curry combo that was fantastic. Overall, the location is decent, food was good, people were awesome. I'll probably go back. read more

Nice addition to the usual "mall" type restaurants. Everything is freshly made to order and they are extremely allergy conscious. It was a great day for soup, so I had their homemade tomato soup and was not disappointed ~ it was delicious! I have stopped in a few times while doing shopping at the Mall. Food has been great and service quick, friendly and efficient. The last time I stopped in I was Timber who was working at the bar took my order. Everything was great and all the modifications I made to my salad were correct. I could see she was getting ready to close the bar for the night. I was glad to see that they put covers on the taps at night to keep contaminants out. We were confused but continued to wait. 3-4 minutes later she came back and said it would be another five minutes until a booth could be set up and suggested that we sit at the bar (with our three kids) if we didn't want to wait. They must not have been well staffed but the least they could have done was communicate appropriately. We chose to leave and I will not be back. read more

My boyfriend and I were excited to try this new restaurant because if the food was half as delicious as the Yelp photos made it look, we knew we would not be disappointed. And we certainly were not. This place was amaaaazinggg! Definitely going back soon. To begin, our waiter, Egypt, was a sweetheart. She explained how everything on the menu can be readjusted to accommodate allergies or a gluten free diet, which I think is a great idea for any restaurant. It shows that they have every customer in mind. I had the mango smash cocktail, which was rum, mango syrup, lime, lemon, and mint. Loved the fruit and mint combination. They went well together. Then for dinner I had the turkey burger. The only note I'd give about that would be that I wished they'd toasted the bun it was on but other than that it was delicious! My burger came with a side of sweet potato fries. Thank god they were a perfect little side serving because I could have eaten an entire plateful if they'd let me. Then lastly we had the coconut key lime pie for dessert. I was a little nervous at first because it came out in a bowl that looked like pudding (see attached photo) but it was a refreshing finish to the experience. I called and ordered for pick up. I'll start with the good. My partners salad was made as described, with added chicken that was boxed separate from the salad. I ordered the 110 Caesar salad, with added tomato and cucumber. It was good, but didn't have tomato or cucumber which was disappointing. We also ordered the Buffalo chicken dip, which was more like Buffalo cheese dip. It was so greasy and mostly cheese, also $15 for a 1/4lb container of dip. Not a great experience. Went with a few friends. The waiter was lovely and friendly. He suggested we get a carafe of the specialty drink to share "since its cheaper." That would have been true if there were two more people at the table or we could handle more than one of the very strong, but tasty, drink. The bread was amazing, but probably the best part of the meal. We split the tatertot poutine, which was ok. You pour over your own gravy and a cheese sauce, rather than curds. Food came very quickly and the waiter was attentive. I ordered the chicken pesto pasta, which I did not like at all. One friend had a burger and brussel sprouts, which she said was very good, though she didn't like thatc they left the hard ends on the sprouts. My other friend ordered the vegetarian stir fry, on the waiter's suggestion, which she called "disgusting" and sent back. He brought her a burger, which she very much enjoyed. The waiter probably thought we were still working on the drinks, because he disappeared for about 20 minutes after we said we weren't having dessert and we wanted our check. Overall, I probably wouldn't go again. If I ended up there, I'd get the burger. read more
