This was our first visit to 110 Grill. It's challenging to eat out when you have Celiac and must eat gluten free. Many places just don't 'get' it. I'm happy to report 110 Grill DOES get it! I had the fish and chips and WOW, was it good. Eating gluten free usually means almost never having fried food because most places don't have a dedicated fryer. This was a treat! The food was SO good. My mother got steak tips with her salad and it was so tender it melted in your mouth. Cooked perfectly. That being said, our hostess was rude and did not smile once as she greeted us and less us to our table. Both my sister and my mother are very short, topping out at just 5', and when we had mentioned that the booth that we were seated in was very tall for them as their feet would dangle she said rudely, "that's what the bar is for." their feet did not reach the bar underneath and dangled for our entire meal. Waited over an hour for a table for 2. They were busy but after my meal I realize why. It takes forever to get your food. They even "warn" you before you order. Our sever told us that everything is made to order because they are very focused on food allergies. That got me thinking right away. Just don't cross contaminate. It's as if they feel every other restaurant is getting people sick or not paying attention to allergies. Anyway, to our meal. We ordered soft drinks and we only received one after about 5 minutes. After a total of 15 minutes I asked the server where my coke was and then told me they had to change it. That bit of info came 15 minutes after the fact and then I got my coke. We ordered some fried pickles that were delicious. A very small portion for the price, but delicious. My wife ordered a beet salad, and I ordered a cheesesteak. 30-40 minutes later our food came out. It was busy but that still seemed a little long. All in all, the food is pretty good. The rest? Meh... Update 10/20: Added a star because this visit was much better. Everything was done well and in a timely fashion. I had the meatloaf which was absolutely perfect. If I had to make a note about the dish it'd be to not put the Sriracha ketchup on the potatos. read more

Had an amazing experience here. Our server was really really awesome and was totally understanding that we are on the whole 30 diet. She wasn't too familiar with it so she asked lots of questions and made sure everything we ordered catered to our dietary needs. On top of that, the food was GREAT!!! Already going back again for more because the Kale Brussels salad is to die for. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because of the ambiance...it's really basic in that sense but that's not a huge issue, it's in a mall after all. But overall would recommend to people who are gluten free and have special dietary needs because everything is made FRESH for you. read more

First time for this eatery. Our waitress Stephanie was great. She asked for any food allergies and went over the special menu section of the menu with us. Firecracker shrimp was awesome. Side chili sauce was the bomb. Wish there were more than 6 shrimp for the $14 price. Caesar salad was soggy and could have been topped with more shaved parmesan. This was the worst take out service I have ever experienced. I ordered online an hour ahead of the pick up time I selected. When I got there, the hostess informed me the food wasn't even close to ready. I waited about 15 min, annoying but not a huge deal. When I got home I got a call from the restaurant saying they forgot to have me sign the credit card receipt so I had to come back. I have never heard of such a thing and was about to refuse when I realized they didn't give me one of the entrees I ordered! So I reluctantly went all the way back, signed the receipt, picked up my cold food, and went back home. And I get that mistakes happen, but the staff were completely unapologetic, no one cared at all. I will not be going back. read more

We visited my son at University at Albany and he wanted to eat at this restaurant. We were a little disappointed since he told us good things about this place. Our waitress was very nice and friendly but service was slow. The place wasn't busy but it took them almost 30 minutes to bring out the food. The food was cold the meat a little chewy and over cooked. We asked no onion in the salad but the salad was full of onion. They tout the restaurant serving all local and fresh stuff, but a lot of the items on the menu are heavy and kind of basic, so difficult to tell. I thought the service was friendly and attentive, but others in my party thought server was overly talkative. Entrees were reasonably priced, but watch yourself with drinks and sides. Usually steer clear of brand new places so there's time to work out the wrinkles but the Yelp reviews convinced us to hit this place sooner. Glad we did! Obvious right from the start that there's good management. Attentive and efficient servers, and every employee we encountered was courteous and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed being there. The food didn't disappoint, either. Not a massive menu, but lots of well thought out options. A good gluten free menu, too. Meat loaf isn't something I'd usually order in August, but hearing the waitress describe it for someone at a nearby table sold me. It was remarkable! If you're relying on GPS to get you there, it's in a mall. Ours delivered us to the entrance where there is a big Uno franchise. If yours does too, walk right on by it and head down a flight, bear right and then left at the next corridor. I wish I could leave 0 stars. Our experience tonight was ABSURD!!!!! First of all I'm service was extremely slow, I was not too upset about that because it was obvious our server was new. Food took a while, again didn't really mind too much, once our food got to the table it was NASTY. The preparation and presentation was 0/10. We finally were able to find our server and when she asked if we needed boxes I said no the food was all very nasty. My gnocchi was under cooked and swimming in sauce, and the crispy chicken was hard as a rock I couldn't even cut it....my sons mini burgers were ice cold, and my fiancés burger was just over all nasty.....I said we'd just like to leave and pay for what we ate. Our server set our check down and said "I am sorry I wish I had a better response but it was the kitchen" my fiancé and I (restaurant workers for over a decade) looked at each other in disbelief. We just paid our bill and left we were so upset we paid full price for food we didn't even touch. Our waiters name was Joseph who was fairly new but did an amazing job and took care of all our needs, we didn't even know that he was a new employee. I don't know why this place gets such a high rating. I ordered food for take out and let's just say it was not worth the price I paid for. The cup of clam chowder soups were very salty so we had to dilute it with sone hot water inorder for it to be edible. The chicken pesto pasta entree was tasteless and super oily...NOT worth $21. I also ordered a half Cyprus salad with the pasta which was pretty good but I had also ordered a full Cyprus salad and a full Ceasars salad as well....to my surprise, both the side Cyprus salad and the full Cyprus and ceasar salad were the same size...but the price they charged for the full salads were twice the amount of the half salad. When I called the restaurant to ask why the salads were the same size but I was charged double for my full salads, the man on the phone said "we ran out of the small containers but the full salads should be bigger". When I told him all 3 salads were the same size, he said "I don't know, I didn't package them. I'll refund you the 1 salad" and just hung up on me. It's been 2 days so far and no refund yet. Also, they charged me over $3 for packaging so I would not recommend taking out food from here ever! read more
