Food was just OK. Service was good. Atmosphere was fine. I like the open kitchen look. The reason for the low rating is: ***False advertising*** : The waitstaff promptly tell people: "We are a scratch restaurant. Everything is made from scratch in our kitchen." When we asked for details, they admitted that the bread, the pasta, the desserts and a few other items are not made in house. So... basically, you are a stock normal restaurant: you buy the stuff that's difficult to make and you make the rest. There's nothing special about that. read more

Diverse menu! The Brussel sprout and Kale salad was top notch!! I could have eaten a pound of it. A nice creamy balance of goat cheese that did not overwhelm the veggies in a mustard vinaigrette. Had a great meal at the 110 Grill last night. Their Sesame Ginger Salmon is a regional best bet. Had the good luck to reconnect with GM Dawn Fisher. She spearheads continued improvements in service and quality. Also got to meet a great Khmer American role model in their Chef Chum. He was turning out beautifully prepared plates to rave reviews in the restaurant. Lastly, we were served by the wait staffer, Zak, a.k.a the Z-Man. Ask for him when you go. He has a great memory for craft beers and mixed drinks....and a great personality. Chef Chum, kitchen staffer Patrick, and the Z-man worked to create a new fresh berry and banana dessert (not on the menu) but they will all try to please. Check out the photo on the picture section. Traveling for business, staying next door to the 110 grill in Chelmsford made it an easy choice. Food was great. Server was terrible. No attention, or very low attention. I was quickly seated, ordered a soda, ordered my meal, received in good time, this is the LAST TIME the waitress came back. We stayed at the Radisson and didn't want to travel too far for dinner. A workmate mentioned 110 and so we took a chance. We're so glad we did! The manager was attentive and welcoming. The wait staff (think her name was Diane or Diana) was very perky and professional and gave a great recommendation. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the 110 Chicken ("good stuff" he said). He is super picky and finicky about food, so when he cleaned his plate that was a fabulous review for any restaurant. He said the chicken was not too "garlicky" but was flavorful without being overwhelming. The sauce was just perfect. The angel hair pasta was not over cooked, so that was a big deal for him. The halved cherry tomatoes were fresh and added an nice touch to the meal. Beer was properly chilled and poured. I had a seasonal salad that was really fantastic. The waitress and the manager recommended it and I was reluctant at first, but decided to try it. I was very, very, pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it was. The grilled chicken was moist and flavorful. The feta cheese was fresh and fragrant and just plain yummy. The red onions and yellow & red peppers and black olives would have been enough but the plentiful cubes of cool watermelon made this the best summer salad EVER. Not sure what kind of dressing was served on the side, but it was the ideal accompaniment for this salad. Refreshing and enjoyable. Pleasing to look at and a real treat for the taste buds. Ambiance was really nice. Beautiful, clean. Rest rooms were spotless. The automatic paper towel dispenser was not working in ladies room, but the manager took care of it as soon as we let him know there was a problem. Overall, no complaints. Started with the tater tots poutine...blahhh. Could of been more creative. The Pulled pork mac and cheese was just okay. Tried the apple donut for desert with ice cream on top. We ordered a glass of beer, steak and potatoes for the main course, calamari and oysters for sides, and end the night with a chocolate cake with berries! I enjoyed every bite of it. The medium rare steak that I ordered were perfect and juicy, the potatoes as well! Calamari, good. The beer, and oysters with a squeezed of lime, some tabasco sauce and the sauce on the plate were a perfect combo! And if you must know, I am very picky on desserts and I dont like them to be too sweet. But the chocolate cake that I ordered were plated nicely, not too sweet, and very delicious. This is a great local restaurant in Chelmsford and a beautiful location with a modern feel and really updated modern but yet classic American food they even have meatloaf. Had some great chicken wings and butternut squash and scallop risotto last night. It was too much for me to eat it all so I took some home but it's good the second day too?! This place is AMAZING! I have celiac disease and they take it very seriously here. The servers are always attentive and the manager brings out my food every time with a allergy stick in it. They even ordered gluten free beer because I requested it. There are very few places I can go and eat because of my sickness and this is my absolute favorite place...Not to mention their gluten free menu is one of the largest I have seen! Never been here before and was recommended by a second generation Chelmsford townie- and I'm glad we were referred, because this was a great find! They had a st. patty's day special- which was great. The boiled dinner was perfect. The greens in their salad (Goat cheese and roasted beets) were fresh and crisp mesclun mix. My fave. Our server, Taylor was a delight. Full of smiles, and very polite. There was a small discrepancy with our meal- and when we brought it to our servers attention she didn't hesitate to get her manager to resolve it. Okay I have to update this to 5 stars-- I was just absolutely blown away by my experience at 110 tonight. The strawberry punch cocktail is deliciously sweet and refreshing. I got the Sesame Ginger Salmon and my boyfriend got the grilled tuna. the flavors of the salmon: sweet, tangy, little kick of sriracha... unbelievable. Because of the blizzard, my wife and I decided to order some food and take it to go. We had never eaten here before, but food sounded good from the menu, so we decided to give it a shot. The facility itself is actually really nice inside. I was impressed. Some high tables, multiple dining areas, and several well placed big screens with sports playing. The hostess was nice enough. She checked on our order when we arrived to pick it up. The food wasn't quite ready yet, so we went ahead and paid the bill. After looking over the receipt a little more closely, I realized they had actually missed a part of our order (a side of fries). I brought it to her attention and she immediately went to the back to correct the oversight. Not long after she brought our food out, including the fries on the house for the oversight, and we were on our way. When we got home we were a little disappointed in the amount of food for the money. The prices are a bit pricey for the small portions. I had the buffalo chicken tenders which were $9 for just 4. I would say 3 of them were "medium sized" tenders, and 1 of them was about half the size of the other three. Fortunately though, the food was really good and the buffalo actually had a great flavor and kick to them. Much spicier than your typical pub. My wife got the roasted butternut squash ravioli and a salad. Her food only came with 4 pieces of ravioli for $11. She also said the food had a really good flavor. Keep in mind, we did order apps and not meals, so that could play in to the small amount of food, but for the price it seemed like we did not walk away with an equal amount of food. I also got a side of BBQ sauce with me fries, and their bbq sauce also has a very good flavor. If you're okay with spending an extra few bucks without getting a ton of food I would definitely recommend checking this place out. 110 Grill has improved since recent ownership change. My husband and I went with my daughter. We got seated at a high table because for some reason, we let our daughter pick seating. The table was wobbly and we struggled a bit to keep our drinks steady. We order calamari to start and boy to I love banana peppers but 100 Grill deep fries them in batter which makes them less healthy of course but taste so much better. I really could have had just the banana peppers as a meal but, they brought out something better. I assume it was fresh made bread with a butter and herb that was just like my mom makes but better (forgive me mother). My husband and I bought got the salmon for dinner, mine was cooked perfectly.. my husbands was just a bit too well done but still great. We will most certainly be back. read more

We had a party of 8. It was a going away/good luck dinner for myself and another co-worker. Food was okay. I had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and onions rings. Meatloaf was good, a little bland, could of used more seasoning in the ground meat. I can say the same for the mashed potatoes. Onion rings were a little soggy and very thin. Just yesterday, I visited the 110 Grill in Chelmsford for the first time, and I was blown away! I can't believe that I've been missing out for so many years! The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When my friend and I first arrived, we were greeted with a very warm welcome by the hostess, who also gave us a few menu recommendations (which I ended up going with and was very pleased). Our server was also very kind, and handled my gluten allergy very seriously (the 110 Grill has a very extensive gluten free menu that I look forward to tasting everything on). We even made contact with one of the managers (who brought over all of the allergen-free food directly) who was also extremely kind! All in all, fantastic food, wonderful service, and a great all-around energy in the restaurant. I look forward to dining here again! (I almost forgot to mention that as I was leaving, I nearly left the food that I had boxed up to take home on the table. Luckily, the hostess was very attentive and she stopped me before I left to make sure that I got my food. Just another example of the awesome service!) read more

My kids got the cheese burger sliders and finished everything on their plates. It was topped with a mealy under-ripe tomato, a bit of lettuce, red onion, and a bland mayo. Fries were standard frozen warehouse fries. Grilled cheese and tomato soup were also very average and not flavorful. Cheap ingredients and subpar seasoning seem to be the story here. Not worth the money. read more

This restaurant will definitely become one of my regulars. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is that, like most restaurants in New England, they keep the temp too low for me. We started with a calamari appetizer. I have tried this dish at many restaurants and often found the coating to be blah. Not so at the 110 Grill. Their coating was well seasoned and crispy. It made my husband almost wish he'd ordered the fish & chips. On the other hand, he was pleasantly surprised to find that his "Cure" burger (burger with an egg, bacon, and chebese), which he'd ordered well done, actually was. So often they arrive still pink. The bacon was crispy. My own order of cucumber and avocado tuna consisted of perfectly seared slices of pink tuna on a bed of rice, topped with thick slices of ripe avocado and the solid inner part of the cucumber sliced as thin as the pickled ginger generally served with sushi. I might have used a more piquant sauce on the tuna but otherwise it was delicious. In addition to delicious food, the 110 Grill has a full bar including a nice selection of wines and unusual draft beers. read more

The customer service and food were exceptional when my family and I came here for lunch last weekend. My husband had the turkey burger and I had the salmon burger. Both were delicious and the fries were super tasty, too. The menu is creative, reasonably priced for what they deliver and there are also beers on tap for four dollars! They offered us a free dessert because they said the food took a little longer than expected to come out. We honestly didn't even think it took a long time, but appreciated the gesture and the complementary ice cream for our two-year-old daughter. My family got this salad for takeout and it was very disappointing. We assumed as the featured salad it would be a good option but they provided us the vegetables barely prepped, including each end of the tomato without the stems cut out. Not to mention none of the tomatoes were ripe. The balsamic dressing was overly sweet and seemed more like molasses than anything else. Expect more when spending $18 for a salad. My husband and I had dinner here last night. It was our first time and sadly most likey our last as well. The staff and service was very good but the decor was lacking and felt cold, nothing special. Although they do have a cute cozy looking corner with a few club chairs and a gas fireplace that would be a nice spot for a drink or two. The main issue is really the food. The brucetta for an app was actually quite good but the entrees we had were fair at best. I had the bone in rib eye, ordered med-rare, came out med almost med-well. The mashed potatos were cold and the vegetables were tasteless. My husband had baked haddock which had some type of sherry crust on it which he enjoyed initially but said it was too overpowering after a few bites. He did say the fish alone was very good and fresh however. Risotto side lacked flavor and really needed some seasoning and his vegetables were tasteless as well. It seemed like an older crowd when we were there and most seemed like regulars from what we could tell. Really would have liked to enjoy the food more since there are so few choices of good restaraunts in our area. Kudos to the young staff though for their great service. read more

I have been to the 110 Grill weekly (for business meetings) for the last 6-7 months. When we first started meeting here, the food was really just okay; and in a few instances not good at all. Over the last 2 months or so, the menu has been revamped and the food quality has gotten much better. The house garden salad is always fresh and the dressings are very good. I like it with grilled chicken as well. I th ink the prices are reasonable. The menu does have a couple of diverse options; such as quinoa cakes. I would have given 3.5 stars if that were an option since, I do see improvements. I hope they continue to update and change the menu on an on-going basis. The service has also gotten much better. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. I did notice this week, that one of the best waitresses is pregnant - I don't know if she will return or not, but I hope they replace her with someone equally as friendly and attentive.
