The food, when it eventually came, was decent. We were served our main course around 75 minutes after we sat down. The waiter was slow, but when the food finally arrived it was hot, so presumably the kitchen was also slow. The waiter seemed to also have tables on the other side of the dining room (on the other side of the big bar) from our table, which doesn't seem very efficient, and perhaps contributed to why the service was so slow. Very disappointed in my last two experiences here. I ordered from here in September and the food was excellent, though a few condiments and utensils were forgotten. However the past two times I have ordered from this restaurant the food has taken over an hour to be made and the orders have ended up being cancelled because they have taken so long. The food is outrageously overpriced for what you get. The waitress offered to bring us salt and pepper and ketchup for our meal and totally forgot , no explanation no apology. My wife's meal was literally inedible, she tried to eat it but it wasn't clear that it was actually food in the " chicken" sandwich, looked like something that you scrape from the bottom of your shoe. I'm not one to write bad reviews, but here is my first. My husband took my daughter on a daddy daughter date Friday Sept. 6 to 110 Grill. It wasn't busy. They were sitting on the patio outside. They sat there for 30 minute and no one came by, not even to give them water! No one even came by to say hi. In fact other waitresses and people looked at them walked by and served other tables. They had a reservation for 6:15pm and left at 6:45pm. Used to be our favorite restaurant. We won't be going again. It was too late to go to dinner somewhere else so they picked up take out. So much for the Daddy Daughter date. They told the hostess, but upon further evaluation, they should have told the manager. Worst service we have ever had anywhere in Hadley. DO NOT GO to this 'restaurant'. Not only are the servers RUDE, the service was horribly slow. The food used to be good here but now its not even worth going here because of how slow the service is. If you have 3 hours to waste then it might be okay, and the place was not even half full and Im not surprised. People dont have 3 hours to wait for food and deal with rude servers. It was my teen son's birthday and instead of being polite he server had the audacity to belittle him for going to get her, even though we waited 45 minutes for our order to be taken and then 2 hours later hadn't even gotten the dessert I'd asked for not only from the server but from the hostess. What a disappointment, the food was horrible. The mac and cheese was just pasta with cheese thrown on top, absolutely disgusting. The fried chicken was still red and the onion rings soggy and undercooked. The chefs must be training and rushing to meet demand, hire more staff. The better the food, the more loyal your customers. Hopefully we hit this restaurant on a bad night. We were seated outside by the fire once the bartender (who looked at us several times), that was the last positive. The manager did not respond to our confusion over the lack of chicken and cheese besides to roll his eyes and say something similar to "it is what it is." He and the bartender wee then seen watching us through the window talking and laughing. Our waitress was pleasant and removed the nachos from our bill. We told her what happened with the manager and bartender and her demeanor changed. Especially when we told her that this was some of the worst customer service we have experienced. She told me the bill total and became angrier when she saw me out down cash with a low tip. I don't usually do that but three people acting inappropriate was too much to handle. If I could give more stars I would. Pretty much the whole menu can be made gluten-free, I even got to try gluten-free beignets which were absolutely delicious and a fried chicken sandwich! I can't tell you the last time I had so much to choose from on a menu.. never actually! On top of that, Tom our waiter was super nice and helpful, like seriously great, and honestly the whole team including the kitchen seemed to be having a good time and enjoying their jobs and each other which was refreshing to see. We were welcomed warmly by the hostess and seated immediately. Waitress was additionally kind and accommodating providing us with warm bread and a garlic and herb butter on two occasions. I ordered the lobster risotto and was extremely disappointed being a $30 dish. The lobster tasted far from fresh and the risotto was not prepared properly seeming to be cooked rice with sauce poured around it. This was the first time I have ever sent food back. The staff were quick to try to accommodate me by offering another dish which was very kind. My friend ordered the burger and was also disappointed. First the entire menu seems to be over priced for at best okay food, the high prices were complimented by a disastrous kitchen that took 50 mins to produce a simple steak and cheese. Pretty good restaurant overall. Their drinks were good, which was nice. The nachos were different but good. The cheesesteak was surprisingly good definitely will order again . The waiters were all exceptionally nice. However, the head waitress was the opposite. She had 3 different opportunities to make up for her blatant disregard and rudeness. Either she doesn't like men or she hates customer service. I walked in looking for condiments and she blatantly ignored me and went off to wipe tables. I came here for the first time with my partner. The staff was super accommodating with my food my food sensitivities. They made me feel at home and respected. I ended up ordering a chicken sandwich and it was phenomenal. The fries were amazing as well. Been here twice in the last month. The drinks are decent and the food is pretty good (not great). The servers are all very nice.... but the food takes so so so long to come out it's obnoxious. A last minute decision to stop here on our way home to CT, and we were not disappointed! The hostess was kind, efficient, and energetic. Our waitress Ivory was tentative, but not overbearing. She explained the background of the restaurant and the menu in great detail to us along with being patient in allowing us to take our time look over our options. I ordered a simple steak salad with a balsamic glaze and was amazed at how tender the steak was. My S/O ordered the pulled pork Mac & cheese & finished the entire plate -- something he never does! For drinks, I ordered a cider and he an IPA, both were served generously. The pricing was more than fair -- especially with everything being made from scratch, with conscious of food allergies. The atmosphere of the restaurant was simple. The front appeared to have a patio with a fire pit (it was raining and 23 degrees) which I'm sure is great on a nice night. The inside was dimly lit, simple Christmas decorations hanging around. The bar was to the front of the restaurant and most of the dining was seated towards the back. my wife and i enjoy this place as she has to eat gluten free and they offer a very large gluten free menu,, i ordered the chicken pesto pasta.... some of the chicken was cold and raw inside.... i showed our server and she said oh no let me get you another... the second one she brought over was much better but still not cooked enough for me but i finished it and it was good... the server was awesome and she didn't charge me for the meal, also the manager had come over to apologize.... handled it the way it should be handled especially with the cost of dining out now.... read more

for mother's Day they sat us at the bar to eat even though there were many empty tables all throughout the restaurant. normally I don't mind sitting at the bar, but it was pretty painful sitting at the bar because I have an injured leg and I'm wearing a leg brace. while seated at the bar, we had to sit there and listen to lots of loud shrieking and private conversation among the staff. the shrieking was so loud and consistent that I ended up getting a headache. it was just excessive loud screaming and yelling by the staff the entire time. there was no rhythm to the madness, you just had to sit there and listen to their loud, private conversations. I could barely even hear my daughter speak. it wasn't even about work or food orders, it was all non work related nonsense. after my fifth time asking for a table, because I'm surrounded by clean empty tables, they finally sat us at a table that was already vacant since we walked in, who knows how long before that, too. why not just see this at that table in the first place? I'm clearly in a leg brace and not in the best position to be sitting at a bar? trying to talk to the restaurant staff was like talking to a wall. they didn't care that we wanted a table. they didn't care that we wanted the Wi-Fi password. it was the most bizarre experience and I will never return. also, the appetizer was barely warm. we got the spiced up tater tots app. rest of the food was okay and probably would have been tastier if I didn't have a pounding headache from sitting 5 ft away from a screeching group of employees. bottom line: if you're going to force people to sit at the bar, make it an inviting me and peaceful atmosphere. We with friends that have allergies and this is the best worry free restaurant to bring people with food allergies. We had calamari appetizer. The calamari was the entire fish. Crispy lightly breaded and mild sauce. Asian noodles, beef stroganoff, fish and chips and burgers. Everything was delicious and plates were clean. The burger was made medium well and Swiss cheese was just oozing out. the fish and chips crispy and so flavorful. Perfect portions . The fries are thin fries and also crispy. Comes with tartar sauce as a very small dish of cold slaw. The stroganoff haze chunks of steak and mushrooms with a very creamy sauce but my husband said it tasted funny and I reminded him they were gluten free noodles. He also had the apple desert which was amazing no ice cream. Other allergy! The Asian noodles looked great but can't say anything because I didn't taste them and according to my friends they order it all the time. We went here a couple of weeks ago and were not greatly impressed with the experience. At first glance it presents as a higher end place with nice furnishings. However, this ened when I saw they had basketball on the large TV in the bar. I ordered a blueberry beer and my wife ordered a Light beer, my wifes beer came with blueberries in it maybe if the bar staff paid closer attention to detail and less to the low brow TV content this would have not happened. It appeared the kitchen could not keep up with the 3/4 full house our food was very slow to come out snd they did not prepare my sister in laws' entree so we had to wait even linger. I've been to other 110 Grills and have enjoyed my experience. The waitress told us this place is newly opened. This was made very clear during our visit. We were seated pretty quickly, and our waitress seemed friendly. We ordered the chicken nachos as an appetizer which she said she'd put in right away. Close to half an hour later, someone else dropped them off at out table and scuttled away. There was NO chicken!! How can you not notice that!!!??? Our waitress was no where to be found so I approached someone else at which point our waitress appeared, apologized, and said she'd have it redone. A few minutes later she returned with the same order to which had been added five or six pieces of dried up chicken chunks. A manager came to the table to apologize. Our lunch was served about 45 minutes later. Two of us had ordered burgers medium-well. They were rare. Given the amount of time, you'd think they'd have had time to be cooked. The same manager came over, offered to have them redone or get us something else. I wasn't about to wait another 45 minutes so returned the food, and she did give us credit for those. I should add that while waiting for our food, there was plenty of time to observe the operation. On two occasions I saw food delivered to the wrong tables. One of those was to a table still looking at their menus! How daft can you be. Another table had to wave down someone to indicate that this wasn't their food. Now I can't be certain, but it looked to me like that food was given a stroll through the waitstaff aisle and then re-emerged at another table. This is against BOH regulations. I won't even get into the ordeal to pay the bill for this substandard fare. Maybe it will get better. I won't know. read more

Our trip to LL Bean in Hadley was derailed in a great way as I walked into the new restaurant next door w the outdoor fire pit catching my eye. The bartender, Rita is equally warm as well as the Canberry twist on a Manhattan my manhattan snob girlfriend is loving! My local stout is smooth and I'm a fan of 13 of the 16 taps being local!
