A friend and I went out to dinner at 110 Grill last night and had the best experience! It was my first time there and our server, Mattie, was absolutely amazing! She was honestly one of the best waitresses I ever had and she was so sweet and made sure to make our dining experience so great! The food was amazing and everything came out very fast! This place is absolutely nothing special! Prices are very high, menu is lack luster at best! This place is trying really hard at being a "classy place" but is failing at every stop. They need to remember what town this place is in! They really need to think about revamping the menu and lowering the prices!! I've been here a few times since they opened in Rochester and all times have been a great experience (from wait time, staff, food, etc.) I went last when they were doing V-Day specials and I am begging that they put the Lobster Bisque on the normal menu... it was so deliciously good and there aren't many places that (a) do it right and (b) have it on the menu. Loving having a good place to eat in Rochester! Add the bisque please!! I do have to say one negative which is why I'm giving 4 stars - my husband ordered buffalo wings on our last visit and found a small piece of hair on the celery... ugh! Good atmosphere, really nice vibe when you walk in. The place is gorgeous to look at. The wait staff is really nice. I got a turkey burger, It had goat cheese on it with cranberry relish and caramelized onions on a focaccia bun. My boyfriend had the Cajun chicken sandwich and it came on a pretzel bun. Comes with bacon, lettuce and tomato. I tried the banana nut martini, big fan. My boyfriend tried the chocolate Manhattan. He reeeally enjoyed that. If you leave room for dessert I highly recommend the peanut butter cascade. 2 things about the place that I found for downfalls was... even though they have a really nice open kitchen they really need to have the kitchen staff wear hair nets. There was a lady in the kitchen with long hair and it wasn't in a net or even tucked up into her hat. I work in a restaurant and I feel like that's huge, especially if they're going to have an open kitchen for the public to observe. Also is a little pricey compared to the competitive restaurants around the area. We got 2 beers, 2 mixed drinks, 1 appetizer, 2 sandwiches and 1 dessert and our bill was like $90 and change. The 110 Grill in Rochester does a surprisingly decent job with their outdoor patio setting to effectively subdue the fact that you're situated in the middle of a massive parking lot. Instead, the ambiance is nicely preserved by use of good boundaries, yielding an inviting atmosphere and pleasing environment. My fiancé and I decided to try this place out of the blue. The bar is really nice, and as a bartender myself I look for quality beer pours and clean speed wells, it passed the test. Meghan was really patient as we sampled a few interesting beers on tap before deciding what to get. They have 16 taps, almost all are local plus the usuals like bud light. 1st time here, waited for the novelty to wear off.. 4 of us for dinner.. made reservations this time, as the last time we were going to try it over hour and a half wait.. so.. food we had, the fish and chips, I was told they were good, had the steak tips, orders them medium.. cooked perfectly in my opinion, but not well enough. My husband had the chicken parmigiana.. he like it, and me I went simple.. onion soup, although not French onion soup.. it was ok but a bit salty & steak and cheese sub.. also very salty.. our waitress was awesome!! Overpriced and cold. Martini was watered down as it was mixed and left in the shaker with ice for the waitress to retrieve it from the bar. My $22 110 Beef Stroganoff was cold when it arrived at the table and didn't taste like stroganoff. Had to ask for straws for my kids drinks twice. French fries are not hand cut and tasted like frozen fries you buy in a bag at Walmart. If 110 Grill wants to get their restaurant kicked off to a good start in a notoriously bad town for cuisine, HIRE PROFESSIONAL WAIT STAFF!!! 3 small steak and cheese sandwiches a chicken sandwich, a bowl of average onion soup, cold beef stroganoff 2 sodas a bud light a craft beer and a watery martini is NOT worth $124.26. I have eaten here several times now. Always consistently good food. We are always asked about allergies because they will make a special order if you have an allergy. However, here it was heavy on the lettuce and balsamic, light on the bacon and blue cheese. The portion was large and my friend ate every bit of it, so I assume she liked it more than I. We went to the 110 Grille because of the gluten free food options. What we found was perfection! In every way, the server was educated on gluten free and was able to have a conversation where we felt safe eating at this wonderful establishment. Cora was our waitress and she spent a great amount of time with us discussing the gluten free menu. A very happy employee who clearly enjoys her job! That tells customers a lot about the atmosphere of an establishment. Way to go Cora! We spoke to the owner of the restaurant and raved about how happy we were at finding this gem! Beautiful new restaurant with a light atmosphere and wicked good food. A small chain that has about four locations in MA. Almost everything is made to order and made in house which is a big bonus for anyone with allergies. Very decent drink selection and brings in new life to Rochester. read more

Disappointing. I ordered a New York Strip steak, medium rare. The description of "21-day dry aged" sounded good, unfortunately the description was better than the meal. The wait was long, 40+ minutes, and the steak was served medium-well. I didn't want to send it back, as I had waited so long, and how bad could it be? It was no better than a steak right off the shelf at a supermarket, in fact, not even as good. It came with "roasted" brussels sprouts which were practically raw, and tough, and a little bowl of watery garlic mashed potatoes, that were tasty, but the consistency of clam chowder. My first time at 110 Grill; I love the large bar area and atmosphere. The menu is my style with tuna, salmon and a Mediterranean flair. Had the chicken caprese, which was very good and cooked well.
