My biz partner and I went in on Saturday night fairly early and the place was already getting busy. We were seated right away and our server Quin was there in a flash. Quin was AMAZING! Super friendly, nice, knowledgeable and HAPPY! She made our whole experience extremely memorable even though mid way through our dinner she was slammed! Apparently there was a big party there and that was holding the kitchen up. Even with that, it didn't take a ton of time to get our dinner. We took dessert to go, bread pudding and it was fab! The only thing that saved this place was our waitress . I wish I could remember her name but she was very sweet. We went to celebrate our anniversary. It took 15 minutes to get acknowledged, we ordered and our appetizer came out after 25 more mins . They miss timed our food so my food died i. The window and was cold and had to be re done completely. I will say they did comp my meal and the waitress was on them about the time it took for our food. Met up with a friend at 110 grill recently. Its a newer establishment, recently opening in the last year. Everything looks very modern, love the open kitchen concept. Everything is made to order and they offer tons of menu options for food allergies. Started with the homemade bread with the garlic butter, amazing! I could only compare it to the cheddar biscuits at Red Lobster. Super warm with garlic flavor pulsing throughout. Everything else was super good and filling. My friends and I took a random trip to home goods/Lowe's and decided to try the cute restaurant I've looked at for several months but never tried. Overall this is experience was amazing from beginning to end! Clean/seamless service/no food issues/ the bathroom was also very well kept!!! First of all I love that this restaurant takes allergies as seriously as they do! I felt seen and heard and comfortable that they put the most care into ensuring that there was no cross contamination. (As I'm allergic to shellfish, cod, salmon, tuna, scallops). I love that they can turn the menu items gluten free too! Their menu is very diversified offering options for any type of diet! - which is amazing as there's not many restaurants that cater to vegetarian/vegan diets. The space is cute/ a little dark but comfortable. The booths were nice and spacious. I thought it was amazing that you can look right into a part of the kitchen. I could tell how clean the entire space was. The bar area is nice providing enough space for people who sit at the bar a nice spacious experience if they choose to eat at the bar. The one thing I will say about the booths is if you're short you should definitely sit in another area as your feet will hang and you will not be able to nicely place your feet on the foot rest option provided. Food is average however this place is totally mismanaged. First of all there were 3 Hostesses when you walked in and occasionally a forth when the manager would stop by -- yet the "To Go Orders" piled up and it took 2 Hostesses to get that sorted out. The bartenders were unhappy and didn't greet anyone who sat at the bar for at least 5 minutes (to absorbed in making drinks and running back and forth). Also quite a few dishes were piled up at the end of the bar. Came in over the weekend on Saturday. Yes, it was their first weekend open and let me tell you the place was BOOMING! My hubby had made reservations for 7:30pm. Although we were not sat until about 8:05, we were able to get bar seating in the meantime. We didn't want to make a big deal about being seated so late because again this was their first weekend open and they were extremely busy. The hostess did come over to give us an update about our wait time. I am giving the full 5 stars because I truly feel this restaurant deserves it. Our food came out super quick and was delicious! We started off with the fried pickles. For dinner I had the chimchurri steak and my hubby got the steak tips. Let me first say that I wanted to cry actually hearing a server and restaurant that is so diligent about allergies. I have celiac and my reactions to even cross contamination often send me to the hospital or in agonizing pain for days. I felt comfortable after reading the reviews online, but felt so appreciated once our waitress Stacey sat us down. Practically the entire menu can be made gluten free, and the only gluten they have is coming in from outside and not made in house. She even let me know the fries are gf regardless. The manager will bring your food out if you have an allergy and it comes marked. The portion sizes are really big so you'll probably have leftovers. I am SO grateful for this experience and Stacey was an absolute joy to be our server. I hope 110 considers expanding to nyc so I can eat here more often. read more

Sad to say the 110 grill is not what it used to be. Where did the bread disappear to that use to greet us at the beginning of our meals today? My lobster roll was spot on but was served with sweet potato fries that I would've been embarrassed to deliver to the table, they were burnt you could smell them from the minute they were putting in front of me, and my Caesar salad croutons were stale my be left overs from the bread they no longer serve. One of my guests at the table had Caesar salad and they commented that their croutons were stale as well. I dropped in at this new spot on my way home. This place has only been open for about a week, maybe two and I honestly can't tell the difference. The restaurant is located in a plaza but it's stand alone. My initial impression upon entry is clean, trendy, visually appealing. There is a host's stand right at the door and I was greeted promptly. I chose to sit at the vedy nicely stocked bar. The drink menu is definitely tailored to the finer experience and I appreciate that genuinely. I'm impressed with this spot and I recommend trying it out. My bartender Sabrina was delightful, yet cordial. Also appreciated. Noise wise, there's approximately 30 people seated right now and it's not bad. I could definitely see it getting loud in here, being that it's wide open. The menu is pretty diverse. If you're gluten free, they have you covered!! They have free Wi-Fi here, so I was able to do some studying while sipping my Olde Fashioned. (TASTY!). I absolutely do not enjoy writing a bad review of any business that we have visited, however, I feel it's important to be completely honest in all of my reviews. That being said, I will stick to being honest regarding our experience at dinner here. We had found ourselves in Southington recently and happened to be near the 110 Grill. We looked at the menu online and thought we would give it a shot. I not a big fan of corporate places but sometimes you have to put your preconceived notions aside. Our experience definitely confirms what we have previously believed. We chose to sit at the bar ,figuring it would be a bit more lively. After looking at the menus we chose to try the blueberry mint mules,fried calamari, a steak salad and the hot honey chicken sandwich. The drinks,while tasty,were extremely weak. More like a fruit drink then a cocktail. Our calamari arrived and it was not at all what we were used to. First off, the breading was falling off all the pieces,the tentacles were massive and there was no peppers as listed in the menu. One bite and we were disappointed. The breading tasted soggy and bland. The squid was chewy and blah and it was nearly impossible to get through chewing a tentacle. I had asked for a half Ceasar salad with my sandwich. Although the romaine was crisp,the croutons were soggy pieces of what appeared to be left over breadsticks. Also, it was abundantly dressed with an institutional dressing. Our entrees arrived and the meal continued to disappoint. My sandwich didn't include the promised fried pickles and to make the sandwich appear huge the chicken cutlet,basically a frozen ,prepackaged piece of breast meat,was cut nine half and stacked making it impossible to take a bite. I had asked for tomato to be added and it was a thick,tasteless slab of under ripe blah. Also, the honey was not spicy in the least bit. In fact, it tasted lije one of the cheap honey blends.My wife's salad consisted of some greens,3 huge slabs of the same tasteless tomato, 3 huge rings of red onion and some chewy,overcooked and liver tasting steak. We called ahead for a party of 8. We were seated right in time, no problems. Our server was informative and had a fantastic personality and sense of humor. She allowed a friend to sample a beer in tap. She inquired about food allergies and cleary explained how they handle them. One if us, indeed, has a gluten allergy. She was given a gluten free menu, which had many options, rather than the usually 4 or 5. Our server was on top of drink refills. She even brought over a carafe of coke at one point. She made drink suggestions and even went over the menu making recommendations. I got the steak tips. They were very flavorful and juicy. Mashed potatoes were delicious. Sweet potato fries were crispy! I was happy. Ither dishes ordered included the chicken cordon blue sandwich, gnocci, gluten free calamari, gluten free prosciutto flatbread, cod wrapped in prosciutto, pulled prok mac and cheese. Not 1 complaint! We have visited 3x and have had different experiences each time. I'll summarize pros and cons. Rebecca - Huge Pro- she's amazing Cocktails- pro but the 110 specialty cocktails are different from originals Food- hit or miss (not a fan of prosciutto wrapped cod- dry and soapy tasting) the hot honey chicken was a hit. The kids really like the food from the kids menu. Service - hit or miss, unless Rebecca was on. Overall, it's in our monthly rotation. read more

We had a group luncheon today at 110 Grill in Southington,CT. Everyone enjoyed their food. I was especially happy because they have an extensive gluten free menu. Which included deep fried. I had GF fish and chips. I have never had that in a restaurant. Other people loved their non GF food also. The flat bread, turkey burger, clam chowder were also good. What happened? I stopped in about a week ago and sat at the bar and had a really good burger and great bloody mary. The service was great and Robin is a fantastic bartender/server. Today I stopped in again and grabbed a seat at the bar. I got another bloody mary, the mix was a little different, they make their own, but still decent. I ordered the meatloaf. When it finally came out the pile of onion strings covered the entire piece of meatloaf. Onion strings were not crispy, under done for sure. I moved them to the side and saw a small slice of meatloaf that crumbled when I stuck my fork in it and realized it was also burnt. I'm not even going to say anything about the mashed potatoes. I called over a waitress and now several servers are looking at my plate. Not saying much everyone walks away. I have no idea what, if anything, is being done. I waited a little while... I'm really hungry..... nothing..... just give me the check. I was asked if I wanted a box for the burnt food still in front of me. All I have to say is CONSISTENCY is really important!! Today really deserves 2 stars, my 1st experience 4 stars so it's a 3 overall but I'm not willing spend time and money and not know what the next experience will be like. read more

I will start off by saying there is definitely potential. I have talked to many who rave about the Canton location so I have high hopes (especially because we essentially live nearly across the street). Let me preface this review with this: we dined here on night 2 of opening. We knew there would be some kinks to work out - we are huge foodies and typically refrain from going to a new restaurant within the first couple months of opening but we live close and have been anxiously awaiting their opening so decided to try it out. The service side of our experience was 1 step up from atrocious, but they did 'make it right' in the end. We arrived at 5:30 with a reservation. We didn't wait long at all to be seated. We then waited 15 mins before our server came to even say hi. Placed drink orders that came relatively quickly. I had the rosemary gin fizz. It was wayyyy too sweet and really no fizz detected. Our waitress then disappeared for some period of time (maybe another 15 mins). Meanwhile - no bread dropped off at the table. I should mention we were there with our 3 and 7 year old (silly us!). Waitress finally returns and we place our order - it was nearly 6 pm. She doesn't take out a pad to write on. She had already mentioned that she was feeling nervous, so after we ordered (1 antipasto app, 1 kids meal, 1 steak tips with onion straws and brussel sprouts and the chicken piccata gnocchi), my husband and I joked that there was no way that'd be right. So we wait. And wait. And wait. Finally around 6:30 my kids are basically crying in the booth because they're starving, we'd been there for an hour and we have no food on the table. We asked another server to get our waitress. She finally offers to bring bread. 25 mins later our food arrives (6:55). We got the burger sliders (kids meal) with no fries. No app ever made it to the table. The steak tips were served with mashed potatoes instead of the onion straws. Manager came over and was very apologetic. She took the app off the bill, quickly brought out fries for the kiddos and gave us a couple free appetizer cards for next time. The food was actually pretty good. Brussels were not charred/roasted enough and we're pretty bland. The garlic mashed potatoes were actually delicious. Steak tips were tasty but served with a little too much of the ?whiskey glaze (it was sort of globby on the plate). Chicken piccata gnocchi looked amazing and my husband said it was delicious! We will be back...in 3 months...when they've hopefully gotten their groove down. And maybe we'll go without the kids next time just in case! Wishing them lots of luck! read more

Overall - a decent but unremarkable experience. The ambience is warm and comfortable - the copper granite bar was a beautiful centerpiece to the restaurant. We started with fried pickles which were good and came with ample sauce. The entrees were cooked perfectly but my $38 steak was noticeably bland. I remembered the menu offered a demi glaze so I asked for it on the side but when the waiter asked the chefs they seemed to have no idea what he was talking about (may have been a language thing). When it came out it looked sweet but surprisingly it was also bland. The sweet potato fries were good but the brussell sprouts really needed something - honey...balsamic...anything. My blueberry pomegranate sangria was good, maybe slightly watered down with ice. The $9 kids menu actually had salmon which was a very nice surprise and they said was soft and tender but sadly it had no glaze, just salt. The service was good at first but fell apart before the end. In fairness we came in at 8pm one hour before closing and the waiter was very nice, but after a 20 min wait after we ate, we ended up asking the host for a box and the check. Overall we would probably try this place again if it weren't for the exorbitantly priced steak options. When you charge almost $40 for either your ribeye or your strip - you have to get them right. It wasn't "bad" though - just meh. I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could. read more

This place just opened when we went. Initially, we were walk-ins and the wait was 45 mins so we left. We made reservations for 6pm and went back the next day. When we arrived, the disorganization and chaos was rampant in the front hostess area. The cramped space in the front was difficult to navigate and wait in line with people standing around and others trying to exit. I waited about 15 mins until I was able to "check in" because the hostess kept taking phone orders and dealing with take out payments. I observed many open tables but the hostess couldn't seat because she was busy. Suggestion, hire a separate phone order, have a waitress do it, or the bartender. The hostess is designed to keep customers moving in and out. At 635pm we were finally seated, so much for making a reservation. We were promptly greeted and our drink orders were taken. The waitress returned and took our main course orders. The food was fairly quick to come out. Overall, the food was decent. The dinner rolls were hard. The salmon was a little dry but edible. The Brussels sprouts were bland, and the mashed potatoes were average. The Caesar salad was the best part and pretty good. The Oreo sundae was ok, ice cream was average and the cookie pieces were stale. I expected a little more for the money but was a little disappointed in the initial front service, food quality, and preparation of food. It wasn't bad but certainly not great. My husband and I recently tried to 110 Grill as this place as it is fairly new to the area and the menu looks and sounds wonderful. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff we interacted with were very friendly and attentive. The food however, although looks great, left us unsatisfied and quite disappointed. We started with the antipasto which was an eclectic mix of items like a slice of deli ham, dill pickle chips, white bread toast triangles some cheeses, naan bread and a few other meats and some fruit and cucumbers Not terrible, just a weird combo of items that were not of great quality. For entrees we ordered the shrimp scampi and chicken piccata gnocchi. The meals looked great but were lacking in basic seasoning. The chicken was super crispy and had a lemon flavor but the whole dish was very oily and the gnocchi was very bland. The shrimp scampi again, looked really good and had potential to be great, but was lacking in that nice garlicky flavor you think of with scampi and again was lacking in basic seasoning. We tried one dessert since we were celebrating our 21st anniversary. We ordered the coconut key lime tart. Presentation was nice and overall flavors were good although we couldn't really taste coconut, but it is served in a mason jar which has a small opening and is layers of custard then a graham cracker crumble which makes it difficult to enjoy all the flavors and textures together. Overall we were not impressed. There was definite potential to be really good and maybe it was just an off night but it's a bit pricey for us to consider trying again based on this experience. read more

I am fully impressed with this restaurant. They first asked me if I had an allergy and I said I have celiac. They put a allergy stick in all my food too. We had the bbq chicken nachos which were delicious. I had the pulled pork mac and cheese which was incredible. My husband had the grilled cheese and tomato soup, and my son had chicken tenders.
