This place was probably one of the worst pho places I ever had. Came here with 3 people on a Sunday afternoon because it was raining and my boyfriend wanted soup. We wanted somewhere close to our hotel so we saw this place. I hoped that having 4 stars it be good but perhaps not...There is no parking lot so you have to park on the street. The store itself was on the smaller side but it didn't seem too busy. There was some seating and it looked decent inside. There were only 4 tables that were being occupied. You order at the counter first. We both got the pho with brisket and meatballs only difference was my boyfriend got the thin noodles and I got the thick noodles. ($15.70/each) I thought it was different they offered that. I asked for tendon in my bowl and she said they ran out of that. I feel like they should have a sign to mark on the menu for that. We choose a table and they serve it to you. We waited about 10-15 mins and got our food. I asked the girl which one was my bowl and she didn't even know. So we had to figure it out ourselves. Luckily, they got the orders right. I noticed on the tables they didn't have anything else other than paper chopsticks. There was no spoons, napkins or sauces. I asked the waitress for spoons and she said that she needed to wait till the basket of utensils was clean. So the whole time we never got our spoons. We were just eating our noodles with chopsticks and drinking the soup from the bowl. We didn't even get NAPKINS! My boyfriend had to steal sauce bottles from another table after they left. I will say they at least brought out the vegetables and herbs. But there wasn't a lot. The broth was lacking so bad. It tasted so bland. I kept trying to put sauces like hoisin to enhance the flavor but that didn't even work. The meat was okay nothing crazy. They didn't even give us water cups. My friend was dying of water, so she eventually got up and asked the cashier for water cup and napkins. We pretty much got those at the end. I saw that 5 people came in after we got our food and were standing around the restaurant waiting for their orders. You can tell they were short staffed and back up like crazy. I understand that Labor Day weekend is busy but it was insane how bad it was. The waitress didn't even check up on us. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because we got our food in a decent amount of time. If it would have been longer on top of everything else, it would have been one star for sure. read more

Had high hopes, but the reality was disappointing. The garlic butter shrimp with garlic noodles was all lies! No seasoning on the overcooked shrimp and the dish was soaking in oil. The lemongrass chicken was super dry (looked really old) and the fried rice was just brown looking, also no flavor at all. The summer rolls were fine, but didn't look restaurant quality. The fried egg rolls were the only decent thing in the order. Had beef pho where the raw beef was wrapped in foil on the side??? This was for delivery so it was a bit strange. There's a parking structure that you can't see from the street. Heading south on Lincoln, turn in just after the gym like you're going to Hotel June - then follow the signs. Walk in, order at the counter. Take your number and find a seat. Self service fountain drinks. Food is brought out to your table. Ordered: Pho with thin noodles, Brisket, Rare Flank and Meatballs in a Beef & Chicken Broth; Firecracker Wings and Summer Rolls with Shrimp. I enjoyed the Pho and Spring Rolls. The chicken was ok. The only complaint I have really is the high cost for the food. I had a bowl of pho with spring rolls and a drink. Including the tip, the total was about $33.00. That's insane. Flavorful, high-quality, and you can always tell that they put care into their food. It doesn't taste like "fast food", more like something you would get at a sitdown restaurant. Secondly, the people are phenomenal! Mickey, Daniel and Janayia and the rest of the team are friendly, helpful, give great service, quick... and the restaurant is clean. A bonus: they have great (albeit sometimes ecclectic) taste in music! Another bonus: parking is free. Wha?!?! You can't go wrong here. My faves are the... oh wait, I shouldn't tell you. Because sometimes they run out, it's so popular. (It's the braised beef stew - OMG - it's soooooo good!) 3 stars if you're used to Westminster pho, 4 stars for the west side. This is a good substitute if I don't want to make the trek to Torrance. I have seen the reviews complaining about the broth, I have eaten here 5 or 6 times and have not had an issue. It's not above average broth or pho but it's also not watery by any means. This is only the second time I've eaten here and it's was absolute perfection! Just ordered some chicken pho for takeout. Oof! It was so delicious and very well portioned. You'll probably have leftovers too! Best of all it's so convenient to get to. Ample parking inside the structure or take your chance on the street (it's usually packed...just sayn'). Great staple pho spot that's next door to LA fitness. A bit expensive ~$15 for just 'regular pho' but it does the trick! Their noodle portions are quite generous unlike other spots where sometimes I'll order an extra side of noodles. Their bahn mi & lemongrass spring rolls are good too but not needed. Their baos are dry and I would pass and not get those again. Id come again due to the convenience and meets expectation quality. Service - WARNING. During rush hours it's extremely slow & I've seen workers and customers both be incredibly rude mainly because the Workers lie about wait times which gets customers hangry. After the gym (~6-7 pm) if I'm feeling lazy to cook I usually swing by to see what wait times are. The first time I did this, it took 1.5 hrs for my food! There were a lot of unhappy customers as they all said the hostess should've told them wait times were 1 hr+ before letting them order. Not sure if it was out of ignorance or if intentional but as I waited for 1.5 hrs, I saw the hostess tell multiple random times to make it appear as if the food would come out sooner.
