    Soup Dumplings

128 Dim Sum is an authentic Chinese restaurant specializing in traditional dim sum. Located on East Broad Street in Bethlehem, it's open Thursday through Monday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a one hour break from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. My brother and I stopped in for lunch for the first time this past Friday. With the cold air settling in and snow on the way, it was the perfect day for hot soup and dim sum. We shared a selection of dishes, including sui mai king (plump, open-topped dumplings filled with shrimp), corn and chicken dumplings, delicate soup dumplings, pork buns filled with sweet, tender pork, and a shrimp steamed rice roll. After we finished the dim sum dishes, we moved onto the noodles. I ordered the beef noodle soup, and my brother went with the shrimp wonton noodles. All the food was fresh and flavorful, the owner was warm and welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable. Our entire meal came to under $55.

ADORABLE! DELICIOUS! Not for big crowds, very small place with a few little tables for an intimate meal. The menu is a piece of paper where you mark how many of which items you would like- and oh my goodness it's all amazing. Comes out hot and fresh and simply some of the best soup dumplings I've ever had. An unassuming spot in Bethlehem that you MUST stop in if you're a dim sum fan

Simply exquisite dim sum. Good prices, small dining space, friendly staff/service. Negatives are the paper personal bowls, random dim sum service vessels, and poor quality wooden chop sticks. I will absolutely be returning for the amazing menu and vibrant tastebud experience. Get here before the crowds start lining up!!!!

Initially, it leaves a great first impression. The store front is unassuming as it looks like a normal duplex but the front door and when you walk inside make you feel like you're gonna get the most authentic food ever. Six beautiful tables line the walls. It's tight but it's cute inside. The menu was limited which I understand since the spot only opened 6 days ago. You pay first so that's nice. Bring cash to tip. I forgot & there's no option to add. Sorry but I'll be back. Everything was going good but I wasn't all the way sold on what I ordered. The Iced Milk Tea was FABULOUS! The Siu Mai was big disappointment. Not a trace of mushroom and flavorless. The Steamed Pork Bun (Big Bun) was good. It only had pork and cabbage as the main ingredients but it was good. I wouldn't turn my nose on it. I have to come back and try other stuff. I wanna love this place because the server was so sweet and I wanna see it succeed.

Delicious food, quick service, good value. I had buns and dumplings. Both were excellent.

Bean curd roll (3 in an order) with pork and shrimp inside

I'm so happy there is an authentic Chinese place finally in Bethlehem! We got the sticky rice, pork dumplings, bean curd dumplings, and two soups. Everything was homemade, flavorful, and delicious! We will return!

We wanted to try this place. I heard it just opened. We had some shrimp, shumai, some sticky rice, pork and cabbage dumplings. And a pork bun it was all very fresh and just made the sticky rice was good just a little different from something I've ever had before. The dumplings were delicious and the pork bun was really good too. The shrimp shumai were especially good all reasonably priced. Too bad the place is really small. However, the host and servers were very nice and attentive.

Takeout: Big Bun and Cabbage and Pork Dumplings.

I placed a To Go order as I was shopping in the area. The menu is very limited, but that just makes it easier to make your choices. Also, it was affordable. The food was very delicious. Everything on the menu sounds good. I can't wait to order again. I wish this place the best success and hope they are around for a very long time.

Pork a oup dumplings, big pork bun, and shumai (pork and shrimp dumplings)

Fantastic and delicious food. Had just about one of everything on the menu. The pork steamed buns were a crowd favorite. Excited for more dim sum in the future.

This time around was no different. I started with the noodle wrapped shrimp and Karaage chicken. The shrimp are deep fried and topped with spicy mayo and Okinawa sauce. The chicken is also fried and topped with sweet and spicy gochujang sauce. The Karaage chicken is my favorite item on the menu. I tried the spicy miso ramen last time. This time I went with the tonkotsu ramen. It's made with pork broth, ajitsuke tamago, chashu, bamboo shoots, scallions, nori, narutomaki, and black garlic oil. My friend ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl. She liked it so much the first time she had to order it again. Service left much to be desired. Our server didn't introduce himself, ask how any of the food was, or crack a single smile. I would have rather ordered from a counter and just sat myself. Pickup and delivery are both available.
