My first visit, an early dinner and really enjoyed it Steak frites medium rare was perfect and an ice cold draft My guests each really enjoyed their buffalo burgers Extensive menu so everyone should be able to find something they like Solid service and i definitely recommend

Ate here tonight with my family and had a great experience. We had a 6:30 reservation, arrived right on time, and were seated immediately. Our waiter came over shortly after, introduced himself, and took our drink order. I informed our waiter that I have a gluten allergy and asked about safe options. He was extremely knowledgeable about gluten-free items and cross-contamination, which I really appreciated. We started with the beef bites and the Tres Amigos appetizer (guacamole, salsa, and queso), both of which my family really enjoyed. I didn't try them since they're fried in shared fryers with gluten items. For my entrée, I ordered the cranberry apple spinach salad with shrimp, and it was delicious. My daughter had the steak frites, my husband ordered the ribeye, and my son chose the High Noon tenderloin, my son's girlfriend got the green chili bacon chicken sandwich lettuce wrapped. Everything looked great, and my family enjoyed their meals. Service was good, the food was delicious, and I was especially happy to see gluten-free dessert options. We tried two: a chocolate torte and a Spanish flan with piñon, both were good. Overall, a wonderful dining experience for our whole family.

Old Town was packed at lunch time during the Balloon Fiesta, so after wandering around to the outskirts of town, we were able to get in line at High Noon, since they didn't even open until 12:00 pm. Perfect. Once the doors opened, we were quickly sat. The restaurant is a lot bigger on the inside than it appeared to be outside. Tastefully decorated, nice and cool, with comfortable tables. Our server was friendly and efficient. Trying not to shock my system too much with spicy Mexican food, I went with the Three Sisters Veggie Burrito, filled with zucchini, squash, beans, corn, sweet peppers, rice, and cheese, with chips and guacamole on the side. The burrito was fine, but the guacamole was excellent. A decent experience all around, and a perfect spot to take a break from the heat and shopping.

Great classic place for a solid margarita and some chips/salsa on a warm day. Loved the bar, low-key vibes and old town Albuquerque interior. Good people!

We do not eat at Old Town very often, but some friends recommended the drinks. Right at the edge of Old Town, the High Noon Saloon blends with the style and architecture of the area, appearing like an old, rustic saloon. The inside, is quite pretty, upscaled, and inviting. Our server came soon after being seated and was ready for our drinks orders. We were, too! And shortly after, our food orders were taken swiftly. The server was quite attentive and also unobtrusive while our party was sharing stories of our week. Our food, however, took a long time to come to our tables. Let's start with drinks, I tried the rosemary cucumber lemonade and spicy haven. By far, spicy haven was my favorite with a combination of spicy, bright, and refreshing. Our food order consisted of the green chile cheeseburger and the lighter cousin, green chile bacon chicken sandwich. Our friends ordered the blue corn enchiladas and the steak frites. I can speak to te burger and sandwich. The chicken was dry but the bacon was crispy and nice. The truffle fries were definitely a nice substitution for the regular string fries. The burger was at medium rare that was juicy and thick. Both were ok, but lacked flavor even with the green chile. Our friends were satisfied with their dishes, but not impressed, either. Overall, a lot of our bill came from the ambiance and location. Our server was great and on top of things, but the kitchen was slow. Also, for the price, I was expecting impactful flavors that in the end were just ok. And with additional surcharges for minor substitutions, our intentions to return are very minimal.

Touching down in Albuquerque and already finding a local gem! As an East Coaster, I'm always looking for a great Mexican food spot and the High Noon Restaurant did not disappoint. While the tacos were good, the real stars were the pinto beans, chili relleno, and the incredible hatch chili sauce. Seriously, they were the best I've ever had. If you're in the area, you have to check this place out! I personally complemented the chef and I had great service a the beautiful bar as well!

Food - was pretty good! My husband had the meat loaf, and my friend and I shared the chile relleno platter and had them split off the tacos (she had the tacos, I had the the relleno, beans, rice, and salad). I think the rice could've used more seasoning, otherwise the relleno was delicious and the chopped lettuce and tomatoes were a refreshing taste to mix in to the rice and beans. The salsa was a nice flavor to add onto the relleno. My husband (a meat loaf lover) enjoyed his meat loaf- good texture and flavor. Not photographed- my high noon margarita and the keylime pie we shared. It was a well mixed drink, and the keylime pie was decadent and not overly sweet. Service- Tomas was very nice and attentive! Ambience - the ambiance was cool! The first 2 parts of the restaurant were built in the 1700's, and the dining area was made in the 1920's. The walls are made of adobe, the chairs are carved and decorated in a New Mexican style, and there's these interesting metal chandeliers with faces hanging from the ceiling.

Wow!! We want authentic New Mexican food. We got what we came for!!! Staff was great and food was outstanding.

The burrito was amazing! It was nice and relaxing, clean, and very pretty. Salad was good for a healthier option. The only complaint- don't get the raspberry tea...tasted like crystal light. Service was good and good came out fast

I booked this place because it looked really cool inside and it was. Very New Mexico feel. Even tho the booths didn't have cushions on the back they were still very comfortable. The service was ok, we had to ask for waters. I ordered the filet and my wife ordered the steak frites. They were cooked correctly but when they arrived they were barely warm. Mine came with 2 mushroom and potato enchiladas and I didnt like the way they tasted. I'm not use to not having cheese or chili sauce on top of the enchiladas. We may give this place another try but I wouldn't go out of my way to do it

Wow! Just wow. Visiting New Mexico, we wanted to try some good food and were referred to this place close to Old Town. We managed to get in without a booking on a Saturday after getting dropped off. Beautiful architecture and interior. We sat near the back and enjoyed each others company until we were served. Delicious margaritas to start and some of the best food I've had in a long while. The beef on my dish just melted in your mouth. I felt like I could've inhaled my food it was that good. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating as we had a ghost tour we had to get to and they helped speed up getting our bill at the end too. Would visit again next time I'm in the area for sure and I recommend you do too.

Omg what a wonderful experience. Carla V could not have been more accommodating. On app I asked for a booth that was cushy for my 92 year old dad, they succeeded and brought extra pillows for his back. wOW. As for the food, well it was extremely good, hand cuts of beef still exist, great flavor on the tenderloin and ribeye. Our waitress Sophia was so kind and attentive. Highly recommend. We have lived in Albuquerque for over 50 years and never tried this establishment, my mistake.

This is our second time eating here, the food is delicious with a fun historic atmosphere. The service is also great.

Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.

I had read so many positive reviews and was genuinely excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, we walked out without ever being served. While we sat there, multiple staff members walked past our table without acknowledging us. No greeting. No water. No "someone will be right with you." Nothing. Then another couple arrived after us and was seated in the same small patio area. They were promptly greeted, given water, and attended to by a waiter who seemed more than happy to serve them. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there trying to figure out whether anyone planned to acknowledge our table. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was looking around and realizing there were no other Black or Brown patrons in the establishment at the time. I cannot definitively say race played a role in how we were treated, but given the stark difference in service between our table and the couple seated after us, I would be dishonest if I said the thought didn't cross my mind. We eventually got up and left. Good food reviews mean very little if certain guests can sit at a table while staff repeatedly walk past them as though they aren't there. Whether this was discrimination, poor training, or simply terrible service, the experience was unacceptable and left us feeling completely unwelcome. We came prepared to spend our money and enjoy dinner. Instead, Sixty Six Acres made it very easy for us to take our business elsewhere.

Good balance of tuna, celery, and bread ratio, but I didn't dig the olives in it. There's a mini kale salad that comes with entrees, and it was healthy and palatable for kale. We did end up balancing that green with the pistachio cruffin and pistachio chocolate chip cookie. Would definitely go back for the cruffin with its flaky layers and luscious pastry cream. When we walked onto the patio and took in those sweeping views of the Sandias, I was ready to love this place. Los Poblanos has all the ingredients of a truly special dining experience: a gorgeous setting, a thoughtful farm-to-table ethos, and a menu that promises something above the ordinary. Which is exactly why the evening's annoying missteps were so disappointing. Service was well intentioned but unpolished. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and, at times, unfamiliar with the menu -- a problem when guests are asking genuine questions about the food and wine. We ordered bread which came before our drinks were served. Wine service was inconsistent. I ordered an Albariño by the glass - 6 oz. My sister ordered the Cabernet listed on the menu as a recommended pairing for her entrée, priced at $11. After we placed our drink orders, the waiter returned to inform her that the menu price was incorrect -- the wine was actually $18. She agreed to proceed. He then asked whether she wanted "a half glass or a full glass," which is an oddly imprecise question at a restaurant whose menu specifies pours in 3, 6, and 9 oz increments. She said half glass. What arrived was 3 oz of wine in a small serving carafe, which the waiter simply poured into her glass -- no bottle presented, no taste offered. My own Albariño, by contrast, was brought to the table in the bottle with a proper taste before pouring. The disparity in service between the two of us was striking. A simple, clear statement -- "3 oz of this wine is $18, not $11; would you still like it?" -- would have resolved everything cleanly. Instead, the vague "half or full glass" framing left my sister without the information she needed to make an informed choice. For what it's worth, the wine itself was extraordinarily tannic -- borderline undrinkable -- and I would have sent it back. My nephew ordered a top shelf whiskey. The waiter told him "we don't have that". My nephew said "it's on your menu" to which the waiter responded "oh, let me check on that". There seemed to be too many instances of the waiter running back to the bar to check on stuff. Anyway, it was available. The waiter apologized. We ordered the bread which was served before our drinks arrived. Food took about an hour which is fine - I don't have an issue with that but during that time we never saw the waiter again. I ordered the soup of the day - potato and leek which was delicious. Followed by the blackberry salad, which was my main course. Both arrived simultaneously, with the salad placed in front of me and the soup set to the side as an afterthought. At a restaurant at this price point, the expectation that soup precedes salad is not an eccentricity -- it is simply correct service. When I expressed my surprise, the servers seemed genuinely puzzled, which suggests this may be a training gap rather than an isolated incident. As for the salad itself -- it was pleasant, but pleasant is not enough here. The blackberry salad was the kind of thing you might enjoy at a well-run casual chain: competently assembled, inoffensive, and forgettable. At a farm-to-table restaurant with access to exceptional local ingredients, I expect the plate to reflect that -- more intentional presentation, more layered flavors, something that is more elevated than what was presented. This one didn't. The gap between the setting and what landed on the table was wider than it should have been. My sister and nephews ordered the filet mignon and rib eye. Both arrived pre-sliced -- a presentation trend that has made its way into fine dining, though one that divides opinion. My concern, beyond personal preference, is practical: sliced meat loses heat faster, and at roughly $80 per entrée, guests should receive their steak in the condition that best showcases it. The quality was good, not exceptional. Los Poblanos is a restaurant with genuine promise and a setting that few can match. The concept is right; the execution needs work. The issues I encountered -- inconsistent wine service, course sequencing, and a discombobulated waiter-- are not kitchen problems. They are fixable. I hope the restaurant takes that seriously, because the bones here are excellent and the experience should be too.

This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.

This is the inside of the restaurant. We were about the last patrons there so the place had emptied out.
