    Frozen watermelon mimosa
    Lola G.

1909 is a beautiful restaurant, for sure! It is what drew us to come and visit. We started our brunch with some cocktails. I ordered the frozen watermelon mimosa. I was not expecting much of this drink but WOW was it beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. Even though it was a mimosa, it tasted more like mexican watermelon candy. The drink was my favorite part of our visit. For food, I ordered the fried chicken eggs benedict. It was just OK. The hollandaise sauce could have used a bit more flavor, and same for the chicken. But the absolute worst part of the meal was the country potatoes (they were bland beyond repair). My husband ordered the french toast and that tasted WAY better than my meal (definitely had ordering regrets). Overall, great atmosphere and drinks. A bit pricey, however, and not all menu items are great.

Brandon did an amazing job. He was attentive and made our time enjoyable. The food was great! Our favorite was the Cubano sandwich.

During our visit around Downtown Temecula, we stopped by 1909 on a whim! They seated us very, very quickly on a late Tuesday night. We were given the menus and we immediately knew what we wanted to order. We had a round of drinks and I immediately ordered their mussels. Their mussels were very, very addicting! It was delicious and the sauce they used for it was fantastic. I can put this place on my list of mussel cravings. Throughout our time there, our server checked on us numerous times. I believe I need to come back to fully experience their menu, but for the little time I was there, I enjoyed it. Thank you for having us!

1909 in Old Town Temecula is lively but still relaxed, making it a great place to catch up with friends, family, or enjoy a weekend date. I ordered the chilaquiles, and they were absolutely loaded. The portions were huge, and I loved the combination of tender shredded pork, crispy chips that still held their texture, fresh avocado, queso fresco, and perfectly cooked eggs on top. Every bite was packed with flavor. My mom ordered the eggs Benedict, which came with crispy breakfast potatoes. Everything looked fresh, and the potatoes were perfectly golden and seasoned. We also had hot chocolate with our meal, and it paired perfectly with brunch since it was chilly outside. The service was friendly, our food came out fairly quick for being busy but it usually takes awhile here. We've been here a few times. Not our go-to spot or our favorite but if you're looking for a delicious brunch spot in Old Town Temecula with generous portions and a fun atmosphere, 1909 is definitely worth a visit.

It's located in the middle of Old Town and it's always poppin! Luckily the time's I've been, the wait hasn't been too long. There plenty of indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. The servers are always sweet and quick. They have a variety on their menu. Their 1909 burger was so delicious. I'm usually not a burger girl but it was stacked with fresh ingredients. I got the seasoned fries which were good. Their birria hash was packed with flavor. I enjoy their hazy beers and I had to try their mimosa slush which was a bit strong in my opinion. The alcohol really punched me in the face. 1909 is a great spot that I enjoy going to whenever I'm in the area.

I love coming here for dinner. It's one of my favorite places in Old Town Temecula. The fish tacos tasted a little off during my June 2026 visit, so I was a little disappointed. The pistachio tiramisu was a miss. I think I'll stick with dessert elsewhere. Other than that, the food and service are great!

Crab and shrimp empanada were delicious. The fried deviled eggs were tasty and different. We each ordered an appetizer with water before heading down the street to happy hour. The mango habanero shrimp ceviche was so delicious. Right amount of mango sauce and habanero that nothing is over powering the taste of the other. Very tasty. In this 93 degree heat the mist system was on and we were very comfortable. With the appetizers you only received three deviled eggs the empanadas was a total of three but this ceviche was a pretty good portion.

These sticky ribs were so good!

I absolutely LOVE this spot! I go here every time I am anywhere near Temecula and will continue to go back! There is street parking, or you can park in a large lot behind the restaurant. The ambiance is hip and open, with very clean bathrooms. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating with a very large covered patio out front. It's located in old town Temecula and is such a hidden gem! I ordered many delicious drinks, but loved allll of the frozen cocktails (as it was incredibly hot!) Service was great, and always is. The server gave us some great food and drink recs and we started with a charcuterie board that was a 10/10 and made our way through the rest of the menu, as we wanted to try a lot of different things.

Very busy place, wait time was 40 min. The hostess and servers were very friendly. Super cute ambience! They have outdoor and indoor seating. We sat outside and the heaters worked amazing, since it was a chilly evening. The food was a solid 3. The raw oysters are much better than the grilled ones. I had their clam chowder which was... ok. The rib eye was a solid 3. Too much flavor fusion going on. The chicken Sammie and the birria tacos I highly recommend. I loved the location. There's a lot of different places to try on this little strip in Temecula.

Came here two days after our wedding in Temecula it was delicious. We ended up sitting outside and it felt so refreshing. They had misters and fans and it was about 98° outside. The food was so good. They knew that we just got married and gifted us a root beer float! our server was amazing very quick very nice. The place is clean. It's just a total vibe!

During our visit to Temecula, we wanted to try a new place to eat. So we stopped at 1909 to eat lunch. We ordered steak, potatoes, shrimp/chorizo, burger, and Cuban sandwich along with drinks. All were really good. Bloody Mary came with friend chicken wing and bacon along with olives, tasted good. Burger was really good as it reminded us of another place. The shrimp and chorizo was very good. The steak was juicy and the sauce really good. The cubano sandwich was just ok. Lemonade was good but not spectacular. We will definitely come back, but try a few things different and a couple of the items we had today.

Came by on a Monday for lunch! Interior design/decor is modern yet not lost. Cool restaurant bar to chill or hang out! Got their 1909 burger but don't sleep on their smash burger because they look just as great if not better! Patty has that nice char, meaty taste to follow after! That's how it should be done! Customer service was spot on too! Not too much but attentive enough or easy to flag down for anything you need. The restaurant has everything well oiled, their food runners know what to serve where/who.

Gorgeous weather, a tad breezy... but the patio tables had their heaters on! Yay!! At first we couldn't decide whether we wanted to sit inside which was open air or patio and slightly covered. The hostess at the stand looked a tad annoyed....I guess it was a little extra work for them. Eh. The night we came, the restaurant was playing some good jams..our waiter had excellent table service! He sold us on the appetizers. I read some reviews on options and chose the pesto pasta dish... I give it 6/10. If you don't like anything spicy, watch out for this dish. There's red pepper flakes in it. I didn't read it was slightly spicy, otherwise would have done without it. The chicken was the best thing from that dish. My husband enjoyed his bread-less burger! Ginger ale taste good with anything! We even got the special water from the springs.. Bathrooms are super tight! Why do they make bathroom doors to open inward?'!! I guess since it's a right squeeze don't want it to hit someone coming out. Btw this is a favorite spot for the locals! It got super busy after 6pm!

What is the meaning of 1909?

1909 Temecula, founded in September 2014, is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. The name, 1909, comes from the year the building was re-built after burning down in 1908.…

No. It's not a club scene at this place. It's more of a bar and social set up but still a fun and energetic place to enjoy with friends after hours. The bartenders make excellent cocktails!

We met up with a buddy from Riverside here as a halfway point, and it turned out to be an amazing spot. Situated right on the scenic Temecula Duck Pond, the restaurant offers an open brewery vibe, a spacious outdoor beer garden, and plenty of room for kids and adults to relax. The Food Breakdown OBC Breadsticks (4-Pack): Delicious and fresh. They come with two dippers--stick to the classic plain garlic butter sauce for the best bite. Lost Traveler's Noodles: Really good. We added the extra shrimp--it pairs amazingly well with the flavorful, slow-roasted pork. OBC Tri-Tip Plate: Cooked to absolute perfection--came out exactly how we like it (medium-rare). Shrimp Tacos: Our friend ordered these when he arrived and completely devoured them. Our server, Amy, was attentive, friendly, and made our visit seamless. Tips: Bring the Whole Family (Dogs Included!): The outdoor patio is extremely kid-friendly and pet-friendly--they even have a "Dog Patty" on the menu for four-legged guests. Come with a Group: The portions are generous. Bringing a bigger group allows you to order more small plates and pizzas to share across the table. Have you been to Oscar's Brewing Company yet? On Saturday we wandered into TCI for dinner and started with the heirloom tomato and burrata with crostini. It was so fresh and delicious that I briefly considered writing the tomatoes a thank-you note. Next came the Harvest Valley Salad, which somehow managed to make me genuinely excited about lettuce--an achievement that deserves recognition from the culinary Olympics. For our entrée we ordered the Wagyu Steak Frites with chimichurri. The steak was cooked so perfectly it should probably be framed instead of sliced. Every bite was fantastic. We finished with the ube panna cotta, which was elegant, silky, and the kind of dessert that makes you promise you'll "just have one bite" before accidentally eating half of it. Nathan took wonderful care of us all evening. He was warm, friendly, attentive, and struck that perfect balance between making us feel welcome and giving us time to enjoy the gorgeous patio. Watching the sunset with live music in the background and that spectacular view? It was one of those evenings that quietly reminds you why people go out to eat in the first place. Apparently we enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the very just two days for lunch. (Scientific research requires repeat testing.) We started with the hummus, which arrived looking like it belonged in an art gallery. Fortunately, it tasted every bit as good as it looked. Then came the chile relleno, which was absolutely outstanding. If this dish ever goes missing, I'd recommend checking my refrigerator first. Faith was wonderfully friendly and outgoing, and our food expeditor, David, was so genuinely warm and personable that by the time he left the table, it felt like we'd known him for years. Restaurants can teach hospitality, but that kind of kindness is simply who some people are. My only tiny suggestion: please turn on the patio misters during these triple-digit California afternoons. The food was keeping us warm emotionally; the weather was handling the rest. And on the way out we let Christine know the carpets at the entrances needed a vacuum. Fantastic food, exceptional service, beautiful views, and an atmosphere that keeps drawing us back. Cork Fire Kitchen has once again reminded us why it's one of our favorite places to dine. Bravo to the entire team!
