This little mom and pop gem has escaped me for too long. Their lunch special is a great deal - $9.90 for a sizable 1/2 a sandwich that comes with sweet potato chips, and soup with your choice of bread. Their soups are made in house and so many to choose from, hot and cold. I tried a sample of their South African Peanut soup which had a nice kick to it, but sadly I forgot to bring my Lactaid pills so I decided to forgo all soups with milk. It was a hot day anyway, so I settled for gazpacho and was not disappointed. Great flavor and texture that hit the spot. I tried my sister's loaded potato soup and oohwee was it good! Very hefty and rich, even for a small bowl, so much so that we had to get to-go boxes. We didn't save room for dessert, but somehow still walked away with a small pumpkin loaf and a slice of orange mandarin cake (can't resist exotic flavors) to eat later. I'll update the review when I'm not so stuffed and can tell you what I thought about the baked goods. Definitely will be back again soon. read more

I love soup. I also love making soup, so I know the qualities that set a soup apart. 2 Chef's Souparee however, is in a soup league of its own. I stumbled upon this place because of Yelp, and at first was afraid because of the reviews criticizing the cleanliness. Upon arrival however, I was surprised! The back kitchen looked very clean, and all the surfaces were wiped. The soup pots were sparkling clean, and the woman serving us did not touch any of the food with her bare hands. There were so many soup options that we didn't know what to order! The woman allowed us to try as many as we liked, and did not seem bothered at all. My boyfriend ordered a squash soup, and I ordered a chicken and corn chowder. Both soups were flavorful, hot, and filling. He also ordered a sandwich that had fresh bread and turkey. To top this place off, they had a soup nazi poster. How great is that? I love Seinfeld! I wish this place was not so far. Highly recommend! read more

Delicious, fresh and well priced. I had some super yummy chicken soup with barley added instead of noodles. They offered several options of sour dough bread (I chose black olive - sooooo amazing). Staff was quite lovely, friendly, and super quick to take my order / get me back to work. This soup really helped me get over a cold / flu I was having and now that I'm feeling better, I will certainly be back to try more of their things later! read more

So I have been curious about stopping here, lately just a nice bowl of soup is what I've been craving and they are known for a large variety of soups. The woman ahead of me had asked to try the conch chowder and I thought ok, I will ask for a sample too. It was piping hot and fresh and the little cup was almost too hot to hold. It tasted delicious and it rivaled my favorite from down the road at Eagle's Grill. I was tempted to do soup and half a sandwich (or salad) which by the way, you can choose any of them. I just stuck with the bowl of soup to go with my choice of bread (chose raisin walnut) and a sprinkle cookie (when in Rome). I got home and my soup was still nice and hot, no need to rewarm it. It was full of large chunks of potatoes, carrots and celery and conch with some bits of tomato and onion. It was seasoned very well, good spice and heat. I added tobasco but it didn't even need it! I loved the slice of bread, it was a nice contrast from the soup. Definitely will need to come back and try other soups and maybe grilled cheese or another sandwich. read more

It's kind of small and there is not that much seating, so it may be a hit or miss depending on when you go. Luckily, my mom and I sat at a booth inside. I got the grilled cheese sandwich with chips today and soup is the plan for the next time I go there. It was good. I saw that they will let you try samples of the soups before you buy. The soups looked so good and they come in huge bowls. There is an older lady that works there that was wasn't in the best of moods. Maybe it was Monday or it was not a good day for her, but I won't let that keep me from going there for a future visit. read more

5 star!! I was so excited about trying out this place and was definitely not disappointed! There is something so familiar and comforting about delicious soup! It's located in a pretty busy shopping plaza on Lantana and Jog. Love that I could try out different soups before making a selection! Tried the roasted red peppers and goat cheese and then I tried the She Crab! Was such a HARD decision since both were very delicious. I ordered the She Crab bowl and it was awesome! There really is something for every palette. I plan on coming back with friends and trying some more delicious options! P.S. We tried this restaurant for the first time. Maybe the lunch service is much better than the dinner service. The person taking the orders kept saying she just came in and she didn't know what was going on. The menu was very limited and the order taker was not even sure of what was available. The sandwich I wanted would "take a long time", my second choice was not a hot sandwich even though it was on the "hot" sandwich menu. The sandwich i did end up with was, "open faced turkey" was very salty. I heard another customer, because we ate in the place, say "well what is available"? The service was incorrect as I ordered a whole sandwich and got a half sandwich. The soup was ok accept it was scrapped from the bottom of the pot. Very slow order taking and food service. The line was to the door and people outside kept coming in to see if the food was ready. I do not as a rule review food service. Both front end workers were shaking their heads and had very bad looks on their faces and did not know how to execute orders or service. We will not go back to this restaurant. read more

This is a Mom and Pop place, it is obvious right away. I was here once before and couldn't get helped, that time I just left. I did want to see how the soups faired against other establishments. This time I waked in and was greeted, I told the sweet older woman behind the counter this was my first time trying their soups and a customer leaving yelled "omg they are great, taste them all". I wasn't going to do that however she offered me as much as I wanted to try. She told me the soups are made fresh from scratch every day and they use fresh vegetables and meats. I went based off the reviews here: Beer Cheese is incredible, Potato Soup phenomenal, Vegan White Bean and Kale was surprisingly flavorful and The Squash was delicious- we got theses to go. Tomato was good Carrot ginger was good (cold soup). Vegan veggie (similar to other vegan soup) good She crab was pretty good, not my thing. Sherry Mushroom was okay. We will be back! read more

I will admit that I am not a soup person. They just don't thrill me. This place made me rethink my anti soup stance. First of all, they had just about every soup you could think of, including a few cold soups. They let you sample anything, which is awesome. I ordered the lunch combo which is a bowl of soup and a sandwich. I tried the club sandwich, which was huge. Impossible to eat in one sitting. I had it with the French Onion Soup, which I loved. The broth was perfect and I loved the gooey cheese. My husband had the loaded baked potato and my sister had the clam chowder, both were a hit with them. The service was outstanding. The woman at the counter couldn't have been friendlier. There are a few seats inside, and a couple seats outside. They do have a few regular meal choices like fried chicken, all reasonably priced, I'd love to try them next time. All in all, just an awesome place for soup. read more

I've been going to 2Chef's for years and have not found better soup or sandwiches anywhere in Palm Beach County! My family loves this place SO much and go there at least once a month, and more in the cool months. EVERYTHING is delicious there! There is really nothing else like this nearby. I absolutely love that this is not a chain (Chain restaurants have taken over PBC.) This place truly should be on Triple D!! read more

Great little neighborhood soup and sandwich shop. My only advice is to make sure you sample the soup before you buy it. I stopped in over the weekend and had the best loaded potato soup I've ever tasted. I went back to get it for dinner tonight and it was so loaded with scallions/green onions that it was pretty much inedible. Unfortunately I had already purchased a second container to take home so that's $7 down the drain. I asked the girl working there what had changed and she told me they have no set recipes for their soups, so it just depends who's making it on any particular day. The club sandwich is excellent and the sourdough bread that comes with the soup is to die for. They were out of it tonight so I had the Italian bread which was good, but not nearly as good as the sourdough. read more

A coworker of mine and I were out for lunch and she recommended we go to this place. I absolutely loved it! The employees were welcoming and even offered me a sample of the soups. I had half of the Greek soup and half of the turkey sandwich and it was amazing!!! I definitely would love to go back. Just be aware they are very busy for lunch. They're known for their soups, which are wonderful, but I find the meals just as good. This is my favorite PB County restaurant for Open Face Turkey. Chicken Parm is great. On one occasion they had Lobster Ravioli, the best dish I've had yet. Their Surf & Turf Romantic Dinner is one of the best meals you'll find in the county yet about half the price of restaurants serving similar quality. It's a very small location, absolutely nothing fancy, just great homemade food. read more

This is a small storefront restaurant with a few tables inside and outside. I have only had their grilled chicken vegetable soup with noodles and it's the BEST I've ever had. My first time there, a patron passing me with her take out bag said "everything here is delicious". That's exactly what my friend said who recommended this place to me. And Judging by the steady stream of customers the two times I've been there, I would say they've got a very loyal following and you need to get there early before they sell out of their best sellers which is what happened both times I was there. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. Coming from NYC we had soup places on each corner but this place blows those out of the water. She crab is amazing, so is the veal stew and every other soup they have. Currently at home with a cold with some spicy conch, New England clam and zips toscana. Unfortunately I have increasingly found that the soups are OVERLY salty and my bowl of soup last week wasn't even edible. I like salt and I use salt but I'm not a fan of it when it over powers the dish. I was raised in the restaurant business where we valued customer feedback. I discovered this place several years ago when I lived in Lakeworth. Their soups are so good that I come up from Delray Beach to get them! I moved to Delray 7 years ago and never found a place anywhere near the variety and tastiness of this souparee's soups! Also as a tip: they're homemade desserts are to die for!
