This is one of my favorite places you walk in they have several, several varieties of homemade soups. My choice today was a butternut squash soup with every spoonful it was a different flavor and the freshness came out, you could taste the squash, the pepper, the seasoning was absolutely delicious served with a fresh piece of bread. Don't worry about too many options and missing out on a few you would like to explore because they offer samples!!! Yup samples of any soup on the menu. I had the crab and shrimp soup and wowza it was full of flavor and enough to satisfy my hunger. The menu had soups, salads and sandwiches with combination options. I had a turkey sandwich and freshly made bread, piled a mile high with great tasting cut meat. The Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. I can't wait to return. It seems a bit busy during lunch hours, but you could take the meal to go or sit in, which isn't a lot of seating but just enough. They let you sample all the soups, prior to committing to one. They even encourage you to try their daily changing 1 soup. I tried the tomato soup, the split pea soup, the butternut squash soup and was torn into pieces over having to choose. Ultimately, I agreed to have the tomato soup, and it so made my heart Happy. The place is dingy, the service and food are horrible. I had a bowl of clam chowder which was mostly heavy cream mixed with flour for consistency, a can of minced clams and celery, at one point I bit into a piece of ham. My husband had the onion soup which was equally as bad and extremely salty. I had the holiday sandwich and my husband had the turkey sandwich, which both were average at best. The potato chips were either burnt or soggy, which proves no consistency while frying them and letting the old ones get soggy. At one point one of the staff from the kitchen walked out with a filthy shirt and tired attitude. The two gals at the front could not have been more rude. The ambiance is that of the jail cafeterias one can see in a movie. There was a pile of dirty plates in clear view by the entra of the place, that is a 2 x 4, giving the sense that no one cares to actually be proud of that place. For the food mentioned above we paid $50. Do not fall for the 5 stars reviews here like I did. If you want good soup go to Whole Foods soup bar and buy it there, or even get yourself a can of Campbell's soup, you will be better off than eating at 2 Chefs Souparee. On a whim we tried this place and were delighted to find we could sample the soups before deciding on one. We were surprised to find that typical vegetarian choices all had a chicken or beef base- split pea, butternut squash, black bean, and mushrooms barley, for example, so if this matters, do ask! On this night, there was only the vegetable which didn't have chicken or beef stock. Fortunately, it was delicious! The vegetables were still toothsome, and the tomato broth had a pleasing kick of heat. My companion enjoyed the chicken based wedding soup. We each had a half sandwich also. She had the roasted-on-site, roast beef and raved! My grilled cheese was very good, tho I wondered why the cheese is limited to American and Swiss when Provolone is listed on the menu on other sandwiches? They did agree to swap that in for me, since they didn't offer cheddar. My only complaint was with the chips, which others have raved about, ours were quite overcooked, very brown and tasted burnt. And the pickles were missing altogether from both plates. We did note that the front counter person seemed to be new, so, we gave the MIA pickles a pass. As others have stated, the parking is challenging, and the seating isn't condusive to a relaxing meal. But the customer flow was busy, and the take out traffic heavy. I really wanted to love this store because well who doesn't love soup and when I read about it I made the ride out west anticipating great soup. Unfortunately what I had was several lackluster dull, thin boring soups that were just forgettable. Maybe there were just too many soups on the menu to focus on quality but the soups were just disappointing and out of the four that I purchased I really didn't care for any one them. I also tried the homemade desserts and these tasted like just sugar with no nuance to them or even anything to distinguish one dessert from another. I've been here 3 times already since being pressured by my co workers to check this spot out. They were right when they said this spot is like Panera BUT BETTER. They also offer a pick 2 option where you can pair soup, salad or sandwich. So far I have tried their tomato and split pea soup. I also have tried their grilled oriental chicken salad (dressing is amazing) and their Holiday sandwich (the cranberry mayo makes it all the better). I cannot recommend this place enough. They are the best mom n pop place you can check out for soup in Palm Beach County. I will continue to go back because their portions are generous, food is tasty and customer service is great. I used to eat here a lot but ordering from DoorDash this restaurant falls short. You can order your food and then insert specifics . I ordered a grilled cheese and specified I wanted ham, Swiss cheese on Rye bread. I got grilled American cheese and not on Rye. The cheese wasn't even melted. I also got the tomato basil soup which was delicious but not even luke warm, I had to heat it up. I was just so disappointed with my sandwich. 2 Chef's Souparee is located in the Ross/TJMaxx/HomeGoods shopping plaza on the southeast corner of Lantana Road and Jog Road. There are several good food options in this plaza, including Chris's Taverna and Eggs-Cetera Cafe. After shopping at the big retail store, my children and I walked the western length of the plaza in search of someplace to sit down and have a snack and drink. This turned out to be 2 Chef's Souparee, whose reputation has long been in my radar. When I asked to purchase cookies for my children, a very nice young woman said the store wanted to give them to my kids for free. Awesome! Cookie-eating freed me up to try out some of the soups (free samples, yes!). I immediately was blown away by the French Onion soup, but was so confused after trying the Sherry Mushroom: which one was better? There is no right answer. I ordered a quart of the latter; it was so delicious! A sign listed types of fresh baked bread available with prices for a half or whole loaf, so I was sad to be informed that these were only available if ordered in advance. However, I was thrilled to find out that 3 hearty bread slices were included with my soup! I chose the olive bread, which was so yummy. I also ordered a bread pudding, a giant piece that came soggy in a caramel or bourbon sauce with a little cup of a cool, whipped cream like substance. I went in here today because I was fighting a stomach bug and craving a grilled cheese and some soup. I ordered the grilled cheese online so that it would be ready when I got there and I would pick out a soup once I got there. My mistake was not opening the sandwich box and checking before I left. I barely made it there and back home without having to pull over because of my stomach bug. I got home and the grilled cheese was burnt and the cheese wasn't even melted and the chips were burnt. What good would calling them be as I don't have the energy to go back up there, find parking and wait? I did wind up calling them though to ask if they had an email I can send the photo to just so that someone else doesn't have the same thing happen. The woman said she was 80 and doesn't do computer stuff but she remembers me and next time I go in just ask her and I can get another sandwich.
