Have only been here for lunch (about 5 times) and have gotten something different each time and really liked every thing I ordered. Fish tacos were great and made with Mahi, which is a bonus as many use Tilapia (boo). Cuban was very good, Ranch Chicken wrap also very good. Will go here for Dinner some time. Tried this place during the midst of COVID closing and they had "specials" made specifically for the entire family. We got a Lobster Macaroni Casserole and it was to die for! The next time I went back it was after the restrictions on COVID had relaxed and they were opened back up and they informed me that meal was just something they did during the closing! We ended up with Mahi Mahi sandwiches also amazing! But sorry to see that the casserole wasn't available permanently!! Whom ever is the main chef and owner of this restaurant has to be trained in culinary arts as the dishes are obviously not plain and they have shown worthy of the pricey-ness! After eating here a handful of times since they opened, I can tell you I'd be surprised if the community supports them through the holidays. There is SO much here left to be desired, the food but mostly the customer service/experience. While the servers are usually friendly, the food has ALWAYS taken forever (even before this new chef/menu they keep posting about) and the food quality itself is still very low. Crinkle cut fries, really? Frozen onion rings like you'd find at a drive-thru? Neon yellow potato salad? Why do they think this will attract ANYONE AT ALL to their restaurant? MAKE FRESH FOOD. The fare makes it feel like more like a school cafeteria experience than a full-service restaurant. (Compartmentalized metal trays, anyone?) In their defense, the burger is okay if it's actually cooked properly, and it's reasonably priced. But the frozen/premade sides bring the overall quality way, way down. I think everyone in the 'hood was expecting higher quality offerings, not the same run of the mill frozen, pre-made options. Desserts are clearly frozen from a box, blahblahblah. Also who charges $7-plus for a local beer!? They should be ashamed of themselves. I'm fairly certain the owner is the white-haired gentleman who walks around twiddling his thumbs most of the time, doesn't seem to do much. The other employees (can't honestly tell if some of them are managers?) are usually really loud, even audible from the dining room. One lady sits at the bar a lot, sometimes talks to tables. Lots of employees on cell phones. They're clueless enough to take up a booth/table to roll silverware or sprawl across the bar, wasting what could be valuable space . . . if there were any customers here to fill those seats. As you may have read from other reviews, they are generally very unprofessional and in their own world. If you follow their FB page, they say they have some changes in the works, but they've said that twice now, and everything is still way below par. Doesn't that excuse get old after a while, guys? Plus it's literally a brand new restaurant . . . were your original concept and execution so flawed that you're now forced to release a third or fourth menu? It seems like the work of amateurs. Looks like it's back to driving downtown if I want a good meal, 2 Creeks completely misses the mark and seems to be proud of it. Super unfortunate for a community that was really looking forward to a new option. The restaurant/hospitality industry is chewing up 2 Creeks as we speak, and will spit them out soon. One of these worst meals we have ever had. I ordered the Patty melt. The rye bread was so soaked in butter (And I love butter) that I could not eat it. I had to take off the bread. Which means I lost all the cheese. There were hardly any onions on it. The burger was well cooked but had no seasoning at all. My husband ordered a burger and it was overcooked. Also no seasoning. The bun was very stale and he also had to remove it. The side salad and onion rings are mediocre at best. The waitress was pleasant but after food came we never saw her again. Came here for the first time tonight and had a very pleasant experience. We were seated right away and were waited on promptly. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time so no complaints with the service. No complaints with the food either. We started with the shrimp and grits hush puppies after sampling the pork rinds. Pork rind sample was not as crispy as touted so we went with the puppies. The puppies were very good including the house made tartar sauce. I like having the grits; it made the puppies less cakey. Hubby ordered the Cuban sandwich and I had the grilled mahi sandwich. When my mahi sandwich arrived, I was disappointed based on the looks of it. I don't know if it was the lighting in our area or what, but the fish looked a little gray. I proceeded to begin eating it anyway and was surprised. Not only was it tasty but it was moist and very flavorful with that same yummy tartar sauce. Too many places over cook mahi. Brioche bun was a perfect choice too. Again too many places use a harder roll for fish. Kudos on the fish sandwich. Hubs said the Cuban sandwich was very good and "heck yeah" he would order it again. He liked that the pork was moist and he also liked that it came with mayonnaise and mustard. Service was downright rude this morning. The bartender/server taking care of bar area table and outside dining is condescending and thinks she's better than the customers. The food took 30min, my fiancé kindly asked the server if she would check on the food since it was taking a long time for one omelet and eggs and bacon. She rolled her eyed and responded "When the food is ready, we will bring it out" and then walked away. My fiancé asked for an unsweetened tea and she clearly forgot about it as it took 10min. We asked about the tea and again she responds "I was just going to get it". So blatantly rude it was uncalled For. Never going back which is a shame we usually enjoy the food. My wife and I ate here over 2 years ago, and I only now found time to give my honest review. This establishment looks clean and our server at the time was very kind and considerate. I gave her my utmost respect amidst my frustration with the cook. I ordered the Asian ribs with rice. Where my issue started was with the rice. I'm Asian and grew up eating rice at almost every meal. And I can also cook my own rice too, and even made my own sushi platters at family gatherings. So yes, I know my rice. The cook at the time was argumentative with me when I kindly told my server that the rice tasted and looked undercooked. It was crispy and not soft by any means for white steamed rice. The server came back and relayed the cook's message that my order was "Asian Fusion" and that the rice was fully cooked. I explained to the server, again "kindly," that the rice was not fully cooked and that it shouldn't crunch when you eat it unless it was fried to a crisp. The server kindly told the cook my response and then she returned as my wife and I were almost done with our meal with a bowl of rice that had steamed rice that was actually cooked through better as it was fluffier and did not crunch when eaten. But with the message from the cook that I was wrong about the rice being undercooked. That's where they lost my business entirely! I gave feedback that was meant to be positive and helpful, and with respect, and then they scrapped the whole, "the customer is always right," business mindset. Needless to say we never returned and I have shared my honest review with other locals about this place as a restaurant. Spend your money elsewhere if you're looking for a restaurant. This place isn't worth the time or money as a restaurant as the food was sub-par at best with a lousy cook that is TRYING to be modernly innovative but succeeding at failing instead. He argued with an Asian about rice, which is about as intelligent as trying to tell a professional boxer how to box in the ring. read more

I understand on a Friday night the kitchen can get backed up, I am not upset with that. I am upset at the fact kids food orders are not put in like an appetizer, kids should not have to wait 40+ minutes for food. Also if something goes wrong and a different kids item needs to be ordered it should not be another 20 minutes, especially a cheese quesadilla. Our server was tired, I get it, but how she approached our table and the only other table she was working (at least it appeared to be two tables, I saw three other servers continuously busy) was heavy. It seemed like we were a just a number for her and she appeared at the table when she wanted, waited another 20 minutes for a check. We were here over 90 minutes. Other tables were seated after us and were done before us, their servers were available. The food was mediocre, I had a crab cake that was falling apart, very flat, not a lot of crab and over salted, it looked like an after thought. The chicken on the sandwich & quesadilla was VERY DRY, we ordered a soup that never came. An appetizer was on the menu but never updated, we ordered the pretzel cheese bites but they changed them to just cheese bites, I guess no longer carrying the pretzel part. If that is the case, take it off the menu. My margarita was delicious, that was truly about it. I hope others have a better experience then we did. read more

Didn't plan on trying this place, but so glad we did! Came here for lunch and was not disappointed. I had the Closed on Sunday chicken sandwich, but with just mayo instead of the house sauce. It was really delicious!! It was very lightly breaded on a toasted brioche bun. The chicken is brined in pickle juice, so it is very moist and tender. 1st and last time there. We arrived at 8am as they opened. The waiter took a while to get to us - took coffee to 'regulars' that came in after us then brought us menus. Ordered eggs benedict, he asked what I wanted with it. Asked him what the sides were, his response 'the usual'. He did not elaborate. When meal came we asked for salt and pepper. He never returned with that, never came by the table, never refilled the coffee. Never offered jelly for my husbands toast - nothing. After 50 minutes and still no check we asked another waitress if she could get our check, mind you the restaurant was half empty. 10 minutes later the waiter dropped the check on the table without asking ' how was your meal' or anything else, he just dropped off the bill and walked away. Oh, the meal was not worth it either. The potatoes were cold, the hollandaise out of a can and the coffee was luke warm. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. read more

While the chicken parmigiana was good, the meatloaf was a bomb. Maybe our expectations were off, but it was a loaf of ground beef meat with brown gravy, what we would call Salisbury Steak. I am having a difficult choice here - to give 1 or 2 stars. I have been a great fan of 2 Creeks Bar & Grill since it originally opened and was a frequent patron. Have to say always had a great meal whether breakfast, lunch, dinner or just cocktails. However, since their reopening due to COVID restrictions, the food and service has gone way done. Recently I have been there twice and both times food was cold, either undercooked or over cooked. I ordered a vegetable omelet - the vegetables were not only raw but cold. Dinner: Immediately seated, server came right over then - - Ordered drinks - took a long time to get the drinks; they were out of the beer I chose but didn't come right over to let me know; they were out of two dinner choices I made; I chose a chicken dish - the meal tasted like it was a frozen - not fresh - chicken breast with cream of mushroom soup as the Marsala sauce. It was lukewarm; the potatoes were cold. Friend's meatloaf was just OK; gravy tasted like Campbels Mushroom Gravy. Dinner bill was incorrect as the out of stock beer was on the bill. Requested that they correct the bill and take off the chicken dish as it was so bad, which they did. I am so disappointed - here is an independent restaurant I desperately want to succeed but they really need to get their act together. read more

We had lunch at this restaurant on Sunday, March 21, 2021. We had a reservation. I stood by the hostess desk waiting to be seated with my party. Several small parties came in without reservations and were seated promptly using up tables that could've been put together to seat our party of 12. We had five small children with us and had to wait almost 35 minutes to eventually be seated at separate tables. It was another hour and 20 minutes before food was finally brought out to the table. The food that was served could easily be made at home by a teenager. There was nothing special about it. One individual pulled a long hair out of her food. If an adult orders scrambled eggs or omelette , one egg was used for scrambled eggs and the omelette. Everything was sized very small. All of the food that was served was very much below average and probably bought at a discount from a place like restaurant depot. The staff was unresponsive to us with regards to seating and how long the food took to be prepared. Big mistake going to this restaurant. Would never return and would strongly recommend to anybody that's considering going there to find a different place to eat. read more
