Visiting from out of town and came with my husband, to catch up with my brother and his wife. This restaurant was named along with other in info supplied to us about surrounding dining options. It seemed that the menu had a lot of variety. We ladies wanted salads and the guys wanted something more to stick to their ribs. This is a relatively small end unit in a shopping plaza near by. Dining is available outside, but we were surprised by a very nice looking bars, which had several patrons at it. A separate indoor dining room has both a few booths and tables. We were greeted like family from moment we walked in and offered a choice of seating options. We had begun reviewing menu options which were handed to us as we sat down. For a small place, I wondered how so many choices could be available: beef, chicken, seafood, pasta, salads, very interesting side dishes. Sometimes when so many options are available, few are done very well but NOT HERE! Our server, Caitlyn J, was just as bubbly and delightful as my mango mimosa. In fact, her comments regarding the bartender's skills were spot on. My husband enjoys a well made martini and definitely like the one here. The mango mimosa certainly seemed to have fresh mashed mango, not just a flavored syrup. My brother can be challenging with his sense of humor and questions and this young woman, who said she was 18, was mature well beyond her years. Demonstrated just OUTSTANDING, people skills. Said she was not family but wanted patrons to feel that way. She answered many many questions, including whether Ruth's Famous Crab Cakes, were really good enough to to be labeled that way. Caitlyn enthusiastically assured my brother that they were, as Ruth was the wife of the owner and it's her recipe. My brother agreed they were amazing, including the sauce. He also ordered a side of fried green beans, which we all tasted and loved. Very unique! My husband ordered the Stacked Beef Tips. Nice portion 3 high with a layer of fired onion rings between each portion of beef, surrounded by a creamy sauce with mushrooms. A steak knife standing in the middle made a fun presentation, but he announced the beef was fork tender a knife was really not needed. My sister-in-law had a chopped salad with chicken, and I had the summer salad with chicken, bleu cheese, cranberries and glazed pecans. All the meals were nicely presented and we would order again, but we'd want to try many other items. This place is a GEM. Great food. Great bar. Great service. We had just the kind of experience that made us so very glad we found it. While my husband and I are heading back to Tampa, we'll be back next year. My brother and his wife have other friends coming later in the week and absolutely plan to return with them. Tonight's visit draws them back to five stars. The service has always been great. Tonight I noticed a marked improvement in the food quality and preparation. I had the pan seared salmon. It was done just a tad beyond medium. This is just a tad beyond my liking, but the glaze was very good and the slight sear added an extra caramelization that made it all work for me. The scoop of mashed potatoes were very tasty and the mixed saute of squash, onion and red pepper was done just right...crunchy and slightly spiced. The wife had the shrimp and grits. I'm a purest on that dish based on lowcountry experience, so the sweeter roasted red pepper take was not to my liking. She reported that the shrimp were fresh. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the way I like my shrimp and grits. With the way this area's population is exploding, and the lack of restaurant options, this place is gonna be around. The creamy broccoli and cheese soup was very tasty. Food was average lacking memorable flavors that beg you to return. 3 large TV screens for sports, unfortunately FOX News on was less than inviting on 1 tv. Would definitely give it another try. Our favorite neighborhood bar and grill! I think we're here at least once a week for lunch and dinner. Nachos are fantastic and layered, so you get yummy goodness on each chip instead of just the top. The open-faced sandwich is big enough to split with someone. Our kiddos dig the fried shrimp and grilled cheese. The burgers are great, too! You can't go wrong eating at 2Creeks! We also love that it's owned by neighbors who are super cool! This restaurant has great potential to be a leader among World Golf Village restaurants. However, they have lots of growing to do. We were seated promptly at a clean table. Our drinks also came promptly, and our waiter was pleasant. I noticed that the menu mainly consists of burgers. There was one wrap option and one fish sandwich option. Because of the limited options, I decided to order sides. I could tell by the menu that the owner/manager hadn't thought this through quite yet, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt by asking the waiter about this possibility when we sat down. Sides a la cart were not quoted on the menu. The waiter came back and verbally quoted $2.99 per regular side and $4.99 for premium sides (sweet potato fries, onion rings, baked potato, side salad). The manager came back 5-7 minutes later to reveal that she had just heard of the waiter's price quotes. She indicated that sides should be $1.99 per regular side. When we received our bill, regular sides were indeed 2.99, but my premium side was $3.25. My potato salad looked and tasted exactly like Publix classic potato salad. Initially, I tried to order sweet potato fries, but the manager indicated that they were sold out. My side salad was quite good with several chopped onions, tomatoes and black olives (ask about toppings beforehand). The waiter explained that the burgers are cooked medium well. When served all burgers were solid brown (no pink) all the way through. The brioche bun looked quite fresh, but the Mahi fillet looked a bit small. My father-in-law said that it had good flavor. It took a while for us to be served, but that's to be expected considering that it's been open for about two weeks. The ambiance was very modern and clean with a very fresh-looking bar top. I will wait a while to come back, and I hope to return to wonderful improvements. read more

Glad the mixed reviews did not prevent me from ordering take-out from 2 Creeks Bar and Grill. My group ordered four CLOSED ON SUNDAY SANDWICHES (Chicken breast marinated in pickle juice, lightly fried on brioche bun with lettuce, pickles and house made sauce) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. Two of us ordered baked potatoes as our sides - they were HUGE - and the other two had pasta salad with feta, and onion rings, and both were enjoyed. I would not hesitate to order this sandwich again, and/or try other things on the menu. read more

The breakfast here at 2 Creeks was delicious and well-made! I feel that they have the potential to be 5 stars with a little refinement on some great recipes. Their breakfast parfait is really good. Their homemade corned beef hash is a must have. Their signature cornmeal cheddar waffle with pepper gravy and egg is also a must have! I personally recommend asking for two slices of orange to finish off the meal, because the citrus cuts the fat and heightens the experience exponentially. Their portions were spot on and the service was delightful, attentive, and timely. The manager stopped by during our meal, which was also nice. Went there tonight with the family. Needless to say we were unimpressed at best. The datil pepper seafood chowder was good, that's where it ended. The kids chicken tenders were overcooked, buffalo chicken flatbread was aptly named, as it fell flat. The worst was the ahi poke bowl. What the heck was going on there? It was like a completely failed signature dish on Hell's Kitchen. Who does a poke bowl with yellow rice? Completely unseasoned, overcooked tuna, they threw a whole can of crappy mandarin oranges on the side...it was terrible. They took her food back, came back minutes later with same burger that was miraculously cooked with new slice of cheese covering it. Microwaved I'm guessing. I don't usually leave many reviews but as a world golf resident I feel like it's important to support local business or we'll just get flooded with chains and the world has enough Applebee's. My first experience with this place wasn't great, but we returned a few months later to try out their Sunday breakfast and I can say that it was very good and noticeably cheaper than a lot of other places we go. I had an omelet with home fries. The home fries were some of the best I've had and the omelet was also excellent. I judge breakfast places by asking myself the question: "Would I bring someone visiting town here?" The answer is: yes. We'll definitely be back! read more

What a great spot to gather with friends and family. They have a full bar and extensive food menu and friendly service. We were there as part of a birthday party and they were able to handle ALL OF US. I had the "popular" meatloaf dinner and it didn't disappoint. Almost positive that 90% of their food is pre made and purchased from a food service company. Some one on here said that everything is microwave or fryer ready and frozen, they are right. Everything is bland and gross. Best thing about it is the location and they have alcohol so enough of those and maybe you can stomach the food. As a neighborhood spot there is always a cool cozy vibe which seems to be a favorite for our locals. The decor is modern basic with booths and live music on weekends, service is 'diner decent' with a vibrant bar scene and well made cocktails. The biggest area of opportunity would be the hodgepodge of a menu with every cuisine under the sun. These include Cajun, Japanese, Mexican, American and somewhat Mediterranean attempt...to be fair the Cajun/ American influenced food is pretty good but the " serve everything for everyone menu", especially when not prepared authentically or complimentary to the dish itself, or even possible kitchen abilities, may need to be revisited. read more

This restaurant was decent and the staff was friendly and attentive for the most part. They were understaffed and the food was ok. I ordered oysters as an app and the tenderloin for dinner. The oysters were surprisingly good. I like them raw and they came out ice cold. My steak on the other hand was a bit dry. Our empty dishes were left in front of us for quite a while. Poor communication, Inconsistent food. I've had really great meals here and three that were terrible. I don't know, maybe I would have given them a 4th chance if they responded to my messages or sent a manager over when the food was disappointing. Had lunch last Friday here. My husband had the Closed on Sunday chicken sandwich with a house salad. He had been before and liked the sandwich so well he ordered it again this time. This was my first visit and won't be my last. I had the ranch chicken wrap and potato salad. The chicken was so tender and you could taste the ranch dressing down to last bite of the wrap. They can't handle the amount of people to serve and the wait staff is afraid to approach her to see where drinks are after 15 minutes to wait for a beer and glass of wine. If you aren't drinking, or care how long it takes to get a drink, this is a great place. I frequently visit this local restaurant for lunch. I am always pleasantly surprised at both the food and the service. Today the blackened shrimp, 2 creeks burger, and the broccoli beer cheese soup. We were told there would be a problem with coffee as the other two groups were taking all they had made. One changed order to ice tea and one said they still wanted coffee, but ordered bloody Mary to start. Everyone ordered brfst items and waited good while. No coffee ever delivered even those we could see pots refilling. No one refilled tea with empty glass visible. Food delivered was good but when bill came, we were charged for coffee. I'm only giving this place one star because you have to give at least one. We made a pickup order for 6 people in our group. Also, 2 appetizers. The crab and spinach artichoke dip came to us like paste. And only was half full in the container. The calamari was in a small Togo, maybe had 12 pieces. The kids burger was so burned that we couldn't even pick the burnt off to maybe salvage something. The fish tacos had one piece of fish on them the size of your pinky finger.
