The food was delicious, the drinks were interesting as in combinations I would never think of myself and delicious! I had the green tea, a cocktail with matcha and pineapple juice that was delicious! We had scallops and halibut that were fresh and cocked perfectly. We sat and the bar and the bar staff were very helpful and friendly, they gave us several recommendations of what to do while we were in town. The restaurant is in a hotel, but the ambiance was great. Their outdoor area is very pretty with nice fire pits. Overall a pretty wonderful place. read more

I wish I could give this 0 stars. The starters are bland. We had the mushrooms balls and the smoked scallops. They were both okay. Definitely not worth the price. There were not wine glasses. Between sitting down and us ordering, an hour had passed by. Our waitress was shocked when I ordered a margarita with our appetizers and requested a glass of wine with my steak. This place is highlighted in San Diego Foodies @sdfoodies. (Do not fall for the video like we did) There was maybe 10 people in the restaurant having dinner and service was slow!! Lights were turned off in half the restaurant. San Diego foodies over sold this place. 100% do not recommend. My steak was so salty the Brussels sprouts were burnt. Stopped by for dinner yesterday for the husband's birthday! SERVICE - The host was nice as he confirmed our reservation and double checked if an indoor table was okay. Our waitress was M and she was back and forth a lot with all of her tables but always kept an eye on us. She was sweet. FOOD Cheese & Meat Platter - Great selection of cheese in our opinion. We always dislike platters with blue cheese but this was blue cheese free! Woohoo! We liked the selection of cheeses and thought they were very generous with the serving. The bread was extremely hard though. It was supposed to be a crostini style? But the slices were so thick it was very difficult to eat. Halibut - This was a clean fish. Nothing too out of the ordinary with this. Just simple and clean fish dish. Ribeye - This was prepared very well with a nice crust. The meat was tender and juicy. I was not crazy about the flavor but it was a decent slab of meat. The restaurant is located inside the Westin and it was very clean. Aesthetically pleasing as well. This place is very close to our home so we would will be back just for the cheese platter. The entrees we would skip. read more

I heard they reopened and went to enjoy some wine and a sunset ocean view. Our table was met to a fire, so even though it was a gloomy day we were very comfortable. We had a bottle of Daou wine and the charcuterie board. It was delicious. Then we shared some Brussels sprouts and the truffle Mac and cheese. Both were delicious. The food was really good, prices are very high. Service was ok. We were staying at the Sheraton and didn't want to have to drive somewhere for dinner, so ended just walking here. The restaurant was very modern and new with several fireplaces I assume is for the winter time. We got a large table tucked away in the back and it was super quiet. We ordered several appetizers, entrees and sides to share. The food came out super slow for some reason and it was empty in the restaurant. The pork belly was flavorful and just the right amount of softness. The fish was surprisingly delicious, most places overcook fish but this place didn't do that and the fish was perfect, not dry at all. The prime rib was high quality and cooked well but it was super fatty. The brownie dessert was terrible, very dry and chalky, don't order that! Overall a decent experience, I do expect better service and better quality ingredients for the high prices. read more

Great space to relax and enjoy the live music. Haven't tried their food but the drinks are great but a little pricy. A friend order bacon and she was served 3 pieces for $9. I couldn't see myself paying that much for only three pieces. Overall , they had great service. read more

The roasted Brussels and the scallop starter were killer. The ambiance here is calm and upscale without being pretentious or feeling like a sports bar. We went last week, were locals and never tried & decided to do so. It turned out to be a great decision for the wife & I. We arrived late afternoon, the ambiance was very nice, not loud, and nice views from inside and outside the restaurant. We ordered various items, appetizers, main courses, desserts and all of the food was great, being tasty, temperature and portions were perfect. very pleased with the food and the way it was prepared and tasted. The service was exceptional from Rafael! Thus is what stood out even more than the food...which is hard. We go out to enjoy ourselves, enjoy great food and be served those great meals. Rafael was our server, very attentive, friendly, had some polite conversation and we go out often and his service was perfect, drinks, any needs, the timing of the app, the meal, everything we needed or wanted was provided. Very, Very happy with the Ambiance, food and service and our whole experience. This review isn't for the food but for the service. Apparently the hostess was absolutely thrown off that we had a party of 7 (4 kids) and was implying very heavily that she didn't want to seat us because it was overwhelming the kitchen. (The dining room looked barely half full, but I'm assuming there was very little people staffed in the kitchen.) She said nothing was available for our "large" party of 7, but we were able to literally book a party of 7 right at the same time we were there on an app/website and when we showed her... she had nothing to say. Technically, if we had a reservation, shouldn't we be seated? She looked so annoyed and was not accommodating at all. (Literally that's your job as a hostess, lady.) She kept saying it would be faster if we went to 7Mile, a restaurant at a different hotel as it would take an HOUR to get our food! (I've noticed a lot of reviews say that service is very slow here.) When I asked point blank "so you're basically telling us to leave, right?" She just brushed it aside and left while we were discussing possibly doing a DoorDash order. She obviously did not care about us at all, so we ended up leaving and going to the other hotel. (Annoying, since we were staying at the hotel of 20/Twenty!) I totally understand the stress of an understaffed restaurant, but to make people feel like we're annoying them is super unprofessional. It's not our fault you're understaffed. If the service is going to be very slow, let's be upfront about it a NICER way instead of telling people to go away! (7Mile ended up being amazing, and the night before 7Mile apologized for the slow service and gave the kids free hot cocoas! That's the kind of customer service I'm talking about!) read more

This was an amazing hotel restaurant! After Legoland, we were on the hunt for some good sit-down dining. This place was classy yet cozy. There was ample parking at the parking lot nearby. We were seated at the comfiest spacious round booth. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The bass entree I ordered was so fresh and exquisite. I love it when a restaurant makes the fish perfectly with the right texture and flavor. And of course, my prosecco took the meal to the next level. He took such great care of us and made sure that my 4-year-old daughter got her meal shortly after we were seated and even surprised her with a bowl of fruit, which she loved! They are the restaurant / bar at the Weston Resort & Spa. After check-in we went to the bar for a drink and some food. No dark beer on tap, but did have some in cans. The scallops from "Starters" on the regular menu were great. The Turkey Club from the bar menu was OK. We tried them for breakfast the first morning and were happy to return the next morning. There is a good selection on the menu and our selections were good. I would say the prices are $$$, not the $$ shown here. Summer was our server both mornings an was pleasant, efficient and attentive, so 5 stars for her. read more

I was very disappointed with the Thanksgiving meal we received. The manager was very nice and discounted our meal, but the quality of the food was surprisingly bad. I also felt our server could have been more attentive. The meal was $95/person so we had high expectations and we all barely ate any of the food. In fact almost all the food was taken home for our dogs. Turkey was dry, prime rib was half fat, and food was bland and not as described. I did email the next day to share my feedback with the hotel/company and did not get a response. Lovely hotel but I don't recommend the food... and particularly avoid for special occasions. read more

Their lunch menu has some amazing options for everyone with different scrambles, benedicts, and even a seafood tower. They also offer bottomless mimosas for only $18!!!
