Great and amazing food and drinks. The outdoor seating is unbeatable and the service is always asking what you need.

From the vue to the food & service everything was fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive and had great suggestions. The champagne tower was great only thing is the syrup that comes with It is very thick and needs to be stirred. The salmon was great and perfectly cooked. The waffles were good but the portion was on the smaller side. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Good breakfast option for those staying in the resort. Typical breakfast items, omelets, pancakes, etc. great looking view. Came on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. Kids eat free with adult purchase which is a perk

Beautiful scenery! Really yummy yogurt parfait! The best thing we got was the croissant pancakes. They were a home run. We were sat down quickly and our servers were very attentive. I will becoming here again!

Food were all delicious! I ordered the lamb dish for my bday and it was great! Texture and flavor were all there. For sides, we ordered calamari and lobster mac and I must say the lobster was super amazing! Service was by far one of the best I've had. I went there to celebrate a big milestone birthday with some girlfriends and they brought out all the desserts possible including gelato. Ambiance was top notch. The view of the golf course and the band playing music in the background made it feel like we were in Spain celebrating!! Thank you all of the staff members for making it a memorable one.

Located in the Omni La Costs Resort. Beautiful, gorgeous view with outdoor seating. Overlooks the gold course. Celebrated my dad's birthday with a party of 16. Service was superior. Plates were generous and delicious. Also, plated very pretty and huge portions. I ordered the steak salad. It had tons of steak pieces and bacon strip pieces topped off with crispy onions. As appetizers, we had the bread and butter (whipped was nicely spread and garnished with flowers). The butter was light you could eat it off a spoon...lol. We also had the shrimp ceviche. Shrimp was petite with chunks of avocado. It was okay, not spicy enough for me. The mussels and broth was so flavorful and a popular amongst our party. They provide birthday cake and the cake was beautiful. I wish I took a picture of it, was round and double layer chocolate. They dressed it up so nicely and memorable for my dad. Would definitely come here again. It's a great staycation venue too. I've stayed with my husband for his birthday and brought our puppy for a weekend stay and the service was impeccable. If not staying, you can park in self-parking and get your ticket validated at the restaurant. Thank you Vue!

Food was expensive, small portion size and not very good. Service was also very lacking. Golf course views is nice but can get very hot outside. Came here for lunch one day and it was kind of disappointing. The service was nonexistent, had to wait a while just to order. Then the food room 30min to come out which is very slow. I ordered the short rib and eggs and the short rib was super dry and salty already, it was sitting in a pool of super salty spicy salsa that completely destroyed the flavor of the short rib. Small portion sizes. Service throughout was terrible, drinks and water never refilled, never saw our server after we got our food. Don't know what service we are paying for. Overall pretty bad experience.

Braised short ribs was actually only one.

The food was pretty good but I was a little disappointed in the bread and butter for the table. $9 for 6 tiny slices of French bread/baguette. I was also disappointed that as a guest, I couldn't make a reservation for the restaurant but was able to do a walk-in 6 hours later and get a table.

We come here for breakfast once in a while. Today was great. We got a table overlooking the beautiful golf course. The food tasted great and the service was quick and friendly.

Vue has an absolutely gorgeous patio, and if weather permits, I highly recommend taking advantage of it! Most of the menu that I've tried is delicious but not life changingly so. I'd pass on the sushi next time, but the scallops are delicious! They were well made, seared with a crispy top, and had a great texture. Service staff was super nice but they were quite slow to respond. This could be a 5 star experience if the menu hit the mark more consistently and the staff was more responsive.

Great Sunday brunch. Very cool very good awesome view nice atmospheric cool surroundings. Inside Omni make reservation it's better. Beautiful food cool brunch. Pricey. Go go go

Beautiful brunch with a golf course view. The Omni La Costa was a refreshing weekday getaway. It felt like we were in Santa Barbara. The food was delicious in a peaceful setting. The Cajun Salmon was cooked perfectly. Hubby enjoyed the Cali Cheesesteak. Both very flavorful. Service could be more attentive. Would love to come back for dinner and jazz.

If I park at valet and have dinner at Vue can I get the ticket validated?

You need to pay for valet. However, if you self-park at the parking lot by the entrance, the restaurant can waive certain amount of time for parking. Either 2 hours or 1.5 hours I can't remember.

Will you be serving Xmas day brunch?

Hi Cristina - VUE will be serving their regular breakfast menu from 7-11am on Christmas Day. Hope this helps!

He guided us through the menu and recommended ordering a variety of dishes to share from each category, which turned out to be a great suggestion. We started with the tomato appetizer, cornbread, and the standout dish of the night--the incredible head of broccoli. For our mains, our son and daughter-in-law shared the roasted chicken, while my husband and I shared the pork chop. Every dish was exceptional, but the broccoli truly stole the show--even my husband, who rarely eats vegetables, loved it. Kaden struck the perfect balance with his service--attentive without ever being overbearing--which made the experience even more enjoyable.

But, to me, at the end of the day, it's a restaurant, and serving food that is basically burned to oblivion is probably not great. Even when camping, I would never be charring my food into dust. Got the cornbread, the broccoli head, the ribeye, and smores for dessert. Cornbread was good. Very unique! One of the few things I did like about this place. The broccoli and ribeye was just too much. The broccoli florets were cooked over fire until it was basically ash in mouth. Ribeye quality was decent, but again, the char taste covered any meat flavor. Left much to be desired. Unique experience. Would not be back again.

They had bread, but ordered more for us late comers. It was a while before a server came to the table, long enough that when he came to take our drink orders we had viewed the menu and were ready to order our food too. He was friendly and patient though. We again requested the bread that never came prior. They were somewhat busy as it was happy hour so we waited a bit. We just chatted and caught up. After a while we once again requested bread as it still hadn't been brought to us. Third time was a charm and we were finally brought bread. The bread was the highlight of the meal. Served warm, it is soft inside and crunchy out side with a soft butter accompaniment. Shortly thereafter, our food arrived except for one of our party's orders. Two people ordered firecracker shrimp and they were cold upon arrival. One decided to send it back. Sadly my scallops were so rubbery that the provided fork and spoon could barely cut through it. I hate sending food back so I ate it but it was pretty bad. The missing order arrived and it was supposed to be blackened fish tacos. The ratio of cabbage and salsa on top to the small amount of fish in the taco was disappointing, as was the lack of seasoning. Also, we would have liked more water but it was never offered and we didn't see the server until we waved him down for the check. I've tried a lot of items on their menu over the years but the lack of quality and consistency I experienced on this night may have me rethinking that choice, unfortunately.

Is that noted somewhere?"He copped an attitude but then said "ok. I THINK we have some left". Ugh. So, the service was not ideal. Also, it was loud and clearly there were families in there that had just come back from Legoland or somewhere, because there were screaming children. Not really a big deal in a hotel environment because you kind of expect that, but don't go in expecting an "exclusive" experience here. That said, the food was AWESOME. Pork belly appetizer was the winner! The lobster was fantastic (although, we asked for extra of the sauce they put with it and it never came), and the potatoes on the side were great. Overall, I would love to go back and experience the food again, however, for the price, it's not worth putting up with the weak service. Also...that whole "dress code" thing. Don't stress. Please, do NOT be put off by the fact that it is in a strip center. Be HAPPY and GRATEFUL for the parking‼ I found myself looking for a nearby, spot on, go to "Cobb Salad". I had just been to their "sister" restaurant "The Black Rail" for a wonderful Monday burger, fries and glass of wine special. That is what led me next door to Tinleaf. So, I went alone for lunch...ordered the " West Coast Cobb" salad, an order of extra crispy Belgian French fries and a lovely Chardonnay. When ordering French fries...you get your choice of SEVEN dipping sauces‼‼ The Garlic, Chive Aioli is a winner‼ My West Coast Cobb featured panko-crusted chicken breast, bacon bits, hard-boiled egg, Gorgonzola cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, avocado and lovely mixed greens with a Buttermilk dressing. Is that NOT "Heaven in a Bowl"⁉ My fries were plentiful and perfect. The garlic chive aioli sauce was outstanding for the fries and ALSO for the panko-crusted chicken. I noticed a VERY brisk take out vibe going on. And, I'm going to keep this in mind. BECAUSE...my salad and fries could have easily fed TWO people. I, however, ate EVERY bite. I'm thinking...if I take it "to go" I'll get home and only eat HALF and store the rest away. It could happen‼ I'm looking forward to working my way through the menu...Meatloaf Sandwich, Turkey Pot Pie, Tri Tip Steak Salad, Grilled Salmon Sandwich. I like how easy the set up is, you walk in, look at the menu, order and pay right away, then sit wherever you'd like while the food is brought out to you. Overall, the food quality was pretty decent. My family and I ordered family-style and tried a variety of items, including their salads, a mushroom plate, and the salmon. Everything was really good, although the salmon was a bit overcooked. I especially loved the fries that came with the salad. One thing I really liked is that they offer a lot of different combinations, so you can do something like half a sandwich with a soup or salad, or mix and match depending on what you're craving. They also have a convenient water station in the back corner, which is super handy. There's also an outdoor patio area, and it's such a cute spot, perfect for lounging with a drink, sandwich, or appetizer. Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping by for a quick lunch with friends. The vibe feels much more lunch-focused than dinner, and the staff was super friendly. There were also a lot of to-go orders while we were there, so it's clear this place is very popular.
