Get your gel nails done by Amy! Amy is very good-natured and she does a nice set of nails. The most important thing to me is that the nails are thin by the cuticle so they blend in as they grow out, that they don't start lifting up, and they cover my entire existing nails without filing away the sides of them. I have yet to find a nail tech who completes my requirements to a T, but Amy comes close! The salon itself could be better. It's pretty dirty, and some of the staff are... off-putting. But I can put up with a lot to get my nails done right. read more

Don't know why it says they are closed they're 100% open. I love this place. I've been going for the past 3 months and I'm never going anywhere else. They always get my nails EXACTLY how I want them and I always ALWAYS get compliments on them. I recommend them to everyone. Great salon! Got a same-day appointment (on a Saturday) for a Brazilian bikini wax. Very reasonable price (you can call for a quote) and fast service. I waited maybe 5 minutes max and was shown, by Hanna, to the small, no-frills waxing room. I undressed while she prepared the wax; it didn't bother me. 7 minutes later, the job was done. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Hanna did the waxing beautifully, and her cheerful and humorous conversation helped me relax. I strongly recommend and will return to this place. This place is beyond filthy and smells like urine. $10 for a polish change from a technician who doesn't speak enough English to understand I need the polish taken off my cuticles?? She used her dirty thumb nail to remove the polish. You can go down the street to a new, CLEAN spa and get an amazing polish change for $9. The best part? I told the one English speaking woman that I wasn't happy and she told me to go somewhere else! Truly unbelievable!!! read more

Been going here for 5 years straight now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Hanna is hands down the best nail tech I have ever had. She always slays my nails and keeps me laughing the whole time. My favorite thing about Hanna is that if I want to do something different to my nails she will tell me if is going to look good or not so that tells me right there she isn't all about the money. The number one thing that this salon has going for them is Anita. She is great. I never spend more than 10 minutes in there for my brows. On another note. I have had a mani/pedi done there twice. Each time the work was done in poor quality. The technician that did my pedicure seemed to know what she was doing. On the other hand, the technician that did my manicure didn't even know how to cut my cuticles down. It was by far the worse experience I have ever had and I will never return again to get my nails done. Word of advice, You are better off going somewhere else. Anita will however see me on the regular! read more

Go see Anita for threading ($10). She's quick and good. Try for weekdays if you want to avoid busy saturdays.

The only reason why I continue to go to this salon is for the manicurist Lou other than that you would not Pay me to go in here. I agree with some of the comments from other yelp reviewers below there is no point to make an appointment simply because they are either running behind, even taking other people ten minutes before YOUR appointment time. The owner clearly does not care about her clientele not offering an apology or nothing. I do not appreciate my time being wasted I make an appointment for a reason to be seen at a designated time not when they see fit. For example I had a scheduled appointment for 6:00 I have called 45 minutes prior letting them know I would be ten minutes late ! I go in at exactly 6:10 and I see her attending someone else on my time. I do not get seen until 6:40 no apology from the owner or the manicurist herself for taking another customer ON my TIME! This will be the last time I step foot into this establishment I would rather go somewhere even if it's a little further of a drive, pay a little more but somewhere where my money & time will be respected. Save yourself the aggravation and frustrating go find another salon that will respect you as a person/client instead of a dollar sign. read more

Went yesterday around 3 o'clock got mani, pedi, and brows as a birthday gift to myself. I would like to start off on a positive Anita threads brows she is a gifted girl. I love my brows. I have been searching for someone who knows what their doing and Anita is it. She took my ill shaped eyebrows and made them amazing, 10 stars for her. Now the bad, the place is DIRTY! It as such potential if someone would take the initiative. I was told to pick a color and have a seat the water was soooo cold I asked her to make it warmer only to discover she does not speak or understand English. Therefor I was left in cold water and received the worst pedicure ever . My feet were in the water for maybe 5min total she didn't get all the dead skin off and I will be going back to have her fix them. I am rushed over to her station and the "manicure" starts this takes less then15minutes and I have gelish nail polish my nails. The glow dryer had something sticky in it when I tried to tell her she just smiled and tapped on it for me to put my hand in. I roll my eyes turn the machine toward her and tap on it she goes to another tec who comes and asks what's wrong then tells her in Vietnamese (I think) I have ugly cuticles and miss shaped nails I show this to another tec and am told I have to come back because the same person must fix it. I ask if she can fix it now she just finished well turns out when I went and washed my hads she left. Another salon goer told that the owner lady made my tec stay to do my nails and this is why they are crap and I have to go back. read more

Anita is the reason for five stars. She is amazing at threading. She listens to what you want (I like thicker brows), and will have your brows cleaned up in no time at all. Plus, it's cheap - $12. She is a gem! read more
