Great little spot for Vietnamese and Thai dishes. We weren't sure how good it was going to be compared to our favorite pho place, and it was pretty good!! Decent experience here getting some pho and bun bo hue when we were in the area. Found it on Yelp and we were craving some hot soup so decided to check it out. Service was quite informal - we were there within 40 minutes of closing so we were the only patrons. The waiter took our order from behind her counter. It was a chill vibe and they did check in on us a few times too which was nice. The food itself was OK. Tasty but exactly as would be expected for pho and bun bo hue - did not really stand out but was not bad either. The bun bo hue used the pho thin vermicelli noodles and not the traditional thick bun bo hue noodles, which did change the dish a bit. The price is also up there at $16.50/bowl - I would say average value and not cheap. Overall 3 stars - we left satisfied but it wasn't a stand-out pho experience. Can't go wrong with this if you're in Dedham and craving pho specifically. read more

It's a decent place to satisfy your craving of pho if you don't want to drive 20 minutes away in traffic for a good bowl of pho. My son and I ordered the Pho Bo Vien and Pho Tai, and hubby ordered the Drunken Noodle. My son and I liked our order and hubby said his dish was ok. The restaurant is clean with modern decor. Stopped in on Saturday and told that isn't on weekends and need to change sign??? Ordered beef short ribs appetizer and 3 ribs with no meat on them? Why serve them? Other ribs had tough not tender meat... I wouldn't order again . I had the drunken noddles with chicken... Not much chicken and chicken fry. The presentation needs improvement as looked tossed on plate with lump of carrots slices. Needed more fresh green beans , less hot peppers and more noodles... noodles were great flavors but needed more . Table had me dizzy as not level ? Ordered for the first time and last time. I can't eat cilantro. I clicked the option they have for no cilantro and the dishes still came loaded with cilantro. I tried 2 Vietnamese appetizers - the Fresh Rolls and the short ribs. Both were tasty! The main criticism is that there were not very many fresh herbs in the fresh rolls, just lots of lettuce. Replacing half the lettuce with mint and other herbs would make these stellar. The marinade on the ribs is soooo good, especially paired with the tangy sauce. This place has it all! Beautiful interior, super fresh food, and friendly staff. I had the lunch special which came with a super crispy spring roll. Normally, I am ambivalent about spring rolls as they are greasy and tasteless. This one had a good cabbage punch. The salad with peanut dressing was a good size, again super fresh, and not watery. The spicy basil with chicken was perfect: lots of different veggies including red pepper, green beans, carrots, bamboo shoots and a nice level of spice that had my tongue and tongue tingling. The food used to be better. I ordered the pork chop and they gave me shredded pork instead for a take out order. I would have been fine with the wrong order if they shredded pork was a decent amount but it was so little. It was mostly rice with the order and just two spoonful of pork. Stopped here while driving from Boston to Providence RI due to traffic. We were there 5 mins before they reopen for dinner. Food was not good. We ordered Vietnamese since the owner spoke Vietnamese. Shrimp roll, Pho special and Pho Tai and pork chop over rice. The Pho and meat is low quality meat. Broken pieces of meat. Soup was bland. I prob would not recommend anyone here. Maybe Thai food is their specialty. read more

Is very nice and clean inside. hoisin sauce and sriracha at every table along with chili oil. Wife got coconut matcha drink which was good, i stuck with reg water which was very good for tap. Started with fresh rolls, crispy rolls and seaweed salad. All of that including the dipping sauces was fresh and delicious! Pork banh mi and Duck noodle soup came later, wow! The pork in the sandwich had a great charcoal flavor and pickled veg was perfect. nice bread as well. Duck pho was phenomenal, couple of bones but i didn't mind that one bit! The duck meat was delicious with the chinese broccoli and the usual basil/bean sprouts/lime accompaniments. Broth was delicious with 5-spice flavor but not too much, it was well balanced, and with nicely cooked noodles. We ended with (2) Vietnamese iced coffees to go and they were a treat! Tasty food items. Have only tried a couple of items on the menu but they were delicious. Service was good. Ambience is okay but not intimate. Large open space with high noise level due to the way the building was designed: lots of glass windows, lots of metal, high ceilings. Not very much the restaurant owner can do about this.
