Chopped Brisket Sandwich Mac & Cheese Stage

I barely had a chance to stop and capture this dish before I devoured it wholly. A perfectly wet Chopped Brisket sandwich, with a side of creamy Mac-n-Cheese,... sweet, savory, and satisfying. Previously have tried the pulled pork to much delight as well... [[HIGHLIGHT]]Check it out for their food, their live music, and the atmosphere... gorgeous stage and grounds... nice bathrooms, friendly staff... all the hallmarks of a quality establishment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We went to the 2920 Roadhouse for my other half's birthday on a Thursday. We were so excited to try this place! There are apparently some really great singers who entertain their fans here. Pulling into the parking lot, the restaurant looks like it was a large house. So interesting! We got inside and waited about 3 minutes for someone to greet us. There wasn't a line. Once the hostess arrived, she was very nice and then we were seated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is comfortable and casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We waited about 8 or so minutes before we finally flagged someone down to ask about our waitress. Other tables in the same room were being serviced, but they kept walking on past us. It was the oddest thing. We were able to finally have a waitress and placed our beverage orders. They made a great martini! Since we were here on their steak night, we opted for that. I ordered my steak medium rare to rare. It was more medium to medium well, but I chose to keep it vs returning. The food was good. They comped a piece of chocolate cake for the trouble. Our waitress ended up being really great and the night ended up going well. Overall, I would recommend to the restaurant to make sure your hostess is communicating with the staff to keep people from having to wait, do random floor checks to make sure new tables have been serviced or something. We will be back though to give this place another chance, because I think it deserves one.

We tried 2920 Roadhouse again and they delivered! Food was tasty and cooked to perfection. They have a great bartender because every drink was on point! The fried pickles were some of the best I've ever tried and the queso was creamy and not spicy! Our dinners were hot and came out as ordered. Toby was a great server and was attentive but not overbearing. He was actually quite comical and made the experience better. Nice decor and cozy feels. We will be back!

Food is decent, portions are small to fair. Over priced, would like to see them succeed but need to address pricing.....

Fantastic food and service. The mushroom gravy on the grilled chicken and spinach cheese rice was amazing. We will be back!

I really want to give this place a chance but the first visit is not good. Good Martini. Wouldn't feed the steak to my dog.

Ask the Community - 2920 Roadhouse

I have General Admissions tickets for Ty Myers tonight. Looking at the seating chart, it appears that GA tickets are standing in parking lot?

Does this place have a dance floor when bands are playing?

2920 has 15000 sq ft of dance floor along with a full band stage for all the dancing you want...

"Friday Night Catfish - Live Music" 02/20/26…read more I decided to give this place a try since I've been passing by it for a while, always wondering if it was any good. I'm glad I finally gave in to curiosity. This spot was already jumping on a Friday evening around 6 PM. They had live music, a solo artist singing and playing guitar, and the whole atmosphere felt lively and upbeat. It gave me "Urban Cowboy" vibes in the best way. The southern hospitality was definitely there. It's family-oriented, pet-friendly, and apparently Friday nights are the only time you can catch them frying up catfish and shrimp. Customer service was a mix of good and just okay. The lady taking our order was polite, but not very friendly, maybe she's just not the best with social skills. You walk up to the outside window to order (like my husband and I did). We were told there'd be about a 45-minute wait, which we were fine with. They gave us a pager to let us know when the food was ready, and luckily we found a table in the packed dining area where we could enjoy the entertainment while we waited. We sipped on margaritas on the rocks and took in the scene. I was honestly surprised at how good they were, especially with the Tajín on the rim. Delicious and strong. Now, the two female servers were the real highlight. They were friendly, down-to-earth, and very attentive, checking on us periodically. One of them even refilled my margarita cup free of charge to make up for the wait. I loved their high energy and bubbly personalities, and I will say: it ended up being well worth the wait. When my husband brought our food to the table, it was piping hot. We both ordered the fried catfish and shrimp dinner, which comes with French fries, hush puppies, and a salad. For some reason, we were served crinkle-cut fries instead of their usual authentic-cut fries, aka "crappy fries," which confused us a little, but it wasn't a big deal. The fish and shrimp were fried to perfection, crunchy, succulent, and full of flavor. The shrimp tasted fresh with that ocean-seafood flavor. The fish tasted a little less fresh to me (slightly on the stale side), but it was still good overall. Complaints Pet-friendly: They allow dogs and cats to roam around the dining area while customers are eating, which is just not my cup of tea. I get that it's outdoor dining, but not everyone enjoys animals up close while they're trying to eat. There was a dog roaming and sniffing guests, and a cat doing the same. Luckily neither one made their way to my table. Another complaint is the styrofoam plate issue: Our dinner was served on a styrofoam plate without the paper lining to keep the hot food from melting into the styrofoam. I don't mind styrofoam, but please add the liner, especially for hot fried food. We noticed other customers had the lining, but we didn't. Maybe it was just a slip-up, who knows. Food Ratings Catfish/Shrimp Dinner: 5/5 Fish: 4/5 (fried to crunchy perfection and piping hot, but didn't taste as fresh, slightly stale) Shrimp: 5/5 (crispy, fresh tasting, piping hot) Hush puppies: 5/5 (crispy outside, moist inside) French fries: 4/5 (not the authentic cut, but fresh and hot) Side salad: 4/5 (fresh lettuce and tomatoes, but a very small portion) Margarita on the rocks: 5/5 (delicious and strong) Overall, Tailgate Grill is energetic, upbeat, and serves up some seriously tasty fried catfish and shrimp, especially on a Friday evening with delicious tasting Margaritas to top it off. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is mouthwatering, and I tore my plate up! I definitely recommend this place if you're craving southern fried catfish and shrimp. One last tip: bring cash to tip the hardworking servers; they were tag-teaming it and taking care of a packed crowd with smiles on their faces. Great job ladies!

It's like bingo and a sing-along had a really good time together. The energy in the room was great, everyone was into it, and the whole place had that laid-back, friendly vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The crowd was fun, the staff was welcoming, and the atmosphere felt very "local hangout" in the best way. It's the kind of place where you can show up with friends, laugh way too much, and leave already planning your next visit. If you're looking for a low-key night out that's actually entertaining, Singo Bingo at The Barn is absolutely worth checking out. Definitely one of the most fun nights I've had in a while.

First they shut down their parking lot, and then started selling tickets. So if you bought a ticket that got you into the parking lot. However, you needed to buy a second ticket to get in to see the band, or you could just hang out in thier parking lot. Heres is where it gets worse. Since they shut down thier parking lot You had to park next door at the chruch. Which gladly charged $15. Now I only bought the first ticket because my girlfriend bought my second ticket. I did hear another patron say it cost her $70 and she ubered there so she didn't pay for the parking. I think we will not be returning to this establishment.
