The building looks old and you can see exposed foundation construction around the building. The place looks closed from the outside. When you walk in? For a tea place with small menu, they have more than 5 surveillance cameras and at least 7 fish tanks. The water looks like their green tea with a bunch crooked looking quasimodo fish inside. I almost walked out, but since I drove all the way here.. maybe their tea is good. --- Blueberry matcha tea with almond milk. The blueberry syrup overpowering the matcha. It's very sweet and the fragrance is strong, they never asked about the sugar level. The texture is slimy, it's just plain nasty and it felt unhygienic after seeing the place. The girl (owner) was very sweet and offered us samples of the drinks she made. Her voice was pretty quiet so I had a bit hard time to hear her. Yet, she was very patiently to explain the drinks. I ordered affogato and the price wasn't the same as the menu. She explained due to the price of ice cream gone up so she adjusted the price. I actually appreciated that she explained. Prob just needs to change the price on the menu board. We ordered immortality drinks which taste really good. Very floral and distinct. Pretty refreshing. My boyfriend ordered oat Jasmin latte which was okay. Not recommend that. My order was a scoop of strawberry ice cream and matcha drizzle. The ice cream was def a big scoop if you would compare to other places. The taste of ice cream is okay. I was hankering for a yummy sweet drink late night and this place happens to be open quite late. My first time was a really great experience, the sweet girl behind the counter had offered me several samples to try before I had finished looking through the menu. This is definitely a hidden gem of a cafe! My partner and I went to pick up our friends from the airport and they wanted boba, so naturally, we went looking for boba! There aren't a whole lot of shops open past 11PM on a Thursday evening...but 3 Blossoms Cafe is one of them! 3 Blossoms shares a parking lot with Factory Tea Bar and other assorted shops. The parking lot can get tight during the day, but is no problem in the evenings. Once you walk inside, it's like you've been transported to someone's living room! To be super honest, I did not expect to see a solid 5 star rating for a cafe in the O.C., especially with all of the competition around them - so that definitely lured me into setting my GPS to find it! 3 Blossoms Cafe is nestled on the corner of a very busy plaza. At night (when I visited), you could hear the distant horrible singing of some drunk Asian uncles howling to the moon at a karaoke bar. When you enter 3 Blossoms, the vibe was quiet, the color scheme of the cafe clean, and the young lady at the counter was very nice. It's good enough to fill my craving for matcha milk tea, but not super duper good. I do wish they also sold food here because I was hungry! I've been to three Blossoms Cafe twice already, and the drinks did not disappoint. The cafe has a very small "mom/pop" shop feel and only one person is working there. Jackie, who I assume is the owner is cheerful and very knowledgeable about her teas. I've had the blueberry matcha, raspberry matcha, hojicha, guayusa, and the bliss non-caffeinated drink. Every single time the drinks have been spectacular. The only drawback is that the drinks may take 20-40 minutes if you have a large group ahead of you. Personally I knew that it would take a while and I didn't mind the wait but I feel like those who are use to the run of the mill boba shops will have issues. I've seen people complain on Yelp about the clutter of the shop but to be honest the drinks are so well crafted and Jackie is so good at what she does that it's worth it. This place is honestly a hidden gem. It's a corner store shop so be mindful of that, you might find yourself lost in the parking lot, as it's on the OTHER side of the building, facing the street. They offer low and no sugar options, vegan milks, and have great reviews and free wifi. When we entered, the owner offered us samples. We were impressed. I've never wanted a cafe to stay open and flourish as much as I wish it upon 3 Blossoms Cafe. I was looking for a solid tea shop to try in the area, and this actual gem popped up with perfect ratings. I honestly had my doubts since there are plenty of standout shops of similar sorts in the area, but it really did not disappoint. It's at the outward facing corner of a kind of dingy plaza on Bolsa, so you have to park and then walk around. You're immediately greeted by the goodest doggo when you come in. Doggo was so friendly and calm, I almost bought 10 drinks just to support the lil guy. The entire place is run by one person, who is just as warm as his pup. They are offering samples during this time, and he essentially walks you through the different types of teas they offer. Given how he runs the beverage tour, manages POS/is cashier, makes the drinks fresh to order (using basically fresh ingredients) and just about everything else, there's a bit of a wait but it is so worth it! I got the blueberry matcha with mint and almond milk, and it was a really tasty drink that was the perfect level of sweetness for me. Would definitely recommend any of the drinks, really. You truly can't go wrong with anything here. Absolutely adore this place and will definitely make it a mission to stop by every time I'm back in town. I can't recommend enough for just how much love goes into everything here. While it's not an option during this time, there are lots of great games and books, too.
