Update: these idiots didn't contact me. Do not do business with them. From their website: "Don't take chances on your custom window treatments use 3 Day Blinds" YOU'RE TAKING A BIG RISK. Summary: because this company doesn't train their sales people or installation technicians on the automated motorization aspects of their items I'm now stuck with ~$4500 of drapes that don't integrate into my home automation system. It is more than the local franchise, contacting national service they ignored my inquiry for 12 days and now the owner reversed my disputed charges citing their contract, ignoring the fact that their personnel didn't know anything about the system other than leaving me a brochure (which is vague) allowing me to commit to a very expensive non-solution. When I asked the installation technician about the automation setup he said, "Oh we don't get into that" When I asked about HomeKit integration, the sales consultant texted back, "I left you a brochure right?" The brochure lists Google Home, Alexa, and Siri Voice, which is misleading in my opinion. Their motorized system does NOT integrate with Apple HomeKit. As far as Apple goes, it will only respond to Siri voice, and it doesn't do that well...this means you can't set it to automate with your own routines built in HomeKit that would synchronize with everything else. It's also a loud rail system that makes a lot of rattling noises because the bearings or wheels use hard plastic, not rubber. Additionally, the customer resolution rep took 12 days to get back to me (didn't tell me she was researching anything in the meantime, which is why I disputed the charges) because they were also unfamiliar with the product they were selling. The resolution rep also stated that it was inappropriate for the sales consultant to just leave me with a brochure. Bottom line: know exactly what you're getting into with this group because they don't train their personnel to know what they're talking about, and will allow you to buy something that isn't what you're looking for. Their solution is to refund me for the USB hub, which is a minuscule part of this purchase. I should have stuck with the other company, at least they were dedicated to getting to the right solution and didn't make me eat the very expensive bill; they knew how to do the setup and knew exactly what I was talking about. My recommendation is to look elsewhere, you're likely to experience better service and dedication to get to the right solution, otherwise this business will absolve themselves of responsibility by citing their contract. You might not be in it for the automation, but whatever you find to be the wrong solution, I'm sure they're going to say it was you that committed to the expensive customization. read more

We ordered blinds a year ago from this company. They were installed and ALL of them were to short and needed to be remade. Once remade and installed again, they began to break. We again had to have many of them remade . Finally we gave up and asked for a different blind to be installed. The new product installed today and over 1/2 the blinds are too short and need to be remade. Some don't even hit the bottom of the window sill, others are to to black out and the gap is so large that light is pouring thru! Contacted customer care and they said they would have someone contact me and come out to remeasure. I'll update when this happens and how the new blinds look when they come. Two months ago my husband and I got shades installed in our whole house spending over $14,000. I recently got a small stain on the one above my kitchen sink. I tried to clean it, but made it worse. When I called you, you said you do not offer any kind of cleaning services. So I asked if we could have someone come out and turn the shade around so the stain would face the outside. You said no then I asked what would it cost to replace the fabric only without the motor. They said they can't do that and it would be $800 to replace the whole thing. You had me transferred to five different people and one of them told me you had to have someone come out to give me an estimate when you were just here two months ago. Cheap blinds that they charge obscene amounts of money for. I purchased a home with their products and just look at the photos of the "lifetime warranty" blinds which I'm left having to throw away. They should honor their warranties whether you're the original homeowner or not. To make matters worse, a rep came out and quoted me $4,000+ to replace all their blinds with new ones. Signed a contract in April, still no blinds. Nobody contacted me when my blinds arrived in early July, nobody called me to set up an installation date. I have personally spent about two and a half hours on the phone with their sorry excuse for customer service agents just to be told that I need to contact the installers myself. Scheduled date came and about 30 minutes before the FOUR HOUR arrival window has ended the installer calls to cancel for personal reasons. He told me he'd come the next day in the afternoon but never showed or even called. In summary, weeks out even beyond the back order of our products and I still cannot get my blinds installed. Terrible customer support that WILL let you sit on hold for hours and then brazenly tell you you've called the wrong number. In the middle of March 2024 we attempted to have shades installed in our new home. We paid around 25 thousand dollars for this project. A few major problems occurred during that time. Two of the shades fell from the wall, two were installed backwards, and the largest shade was delivered broken, and so was never installed. When we called the 3 Day Blinds saleswomen (Jennifer) who sold us the project to tell her what happened she told us to shut up since she hardly made any money off of our project. Again, we spent around 25K for these shades. Looking back, this encounter was the most mild of what we've dealt with so far. We have been subjected to countless reassurances on call-backs and promised status updates. They never call to give updates or status updates. It's unreal. When you speak to them on the phone, they assure you they will call you back every time, and that your issue will be addressed, but they never follow thru on what they say. I've never encountered anything like it before. It is presently the middle of August 2024 and the project is still incomplete. They are still not giving us updates and they are still telling us they will resolve it and call us back but they don't. We don't know what to do. They have been telling us for months now that our project manager will be giving us updates (Cody), but we've never spoken to him, ever. It's like they are purposely trying to mess with us. We are trying to alert as many people as possible about avoiding this evil company. We have submitted a complaint to the BBB and we are looking into what legal options we have. This business should be avoided like the plague. They will respond to this post asking for us to provide our phone number or order number so they can reach out to us, but they won't. What a great experience! From the sales consultant to the messier to the installer! A wonderful company and quality products.

This company has so much potential and they have great products but it's only though experience that we learned the hard way. First and foremost, the installers are not employees of 3 day blinds. They are contractors so unless you have someone who is accountable, it becomes another job. We paid $12,600 for blinds. This was for a new construction and to it's entirety, meaning every window in the house. The installer came to install the blinds and in the process messed up the walls. We understand this happens and we have been more than willing to work through the repair. As he departed, he took pictures of the repair and said he will put in a work order to repair and repaint the walls. After not hearing back, we called 3 day blinds directly. They said, installer didn't enter any notes into the ticket but new blinds and a remote was ordered for the inoperable set. Second site visit. After repeated attempts from us to resolve the bind and paint issue and installer finally came out to repair the blinds. The timeframe for this was approximately 1.5 months later. These concerns without our follow up, was literally left in the air. The new Installer (let's call him James) schedules to come out to repair or replace the 2 blinds that are broken. This was when we learned installer was only aware of the inoperable blinds but not there to repair the walls. He made an attempt to repair with what he had, but the remote received was incorrect. We were essentially in the same place before he came. After about 3 weeks, I called the sales rep to complain about my experience. Blinds do not work and the wall needs repair. She's been great but what can you do if you're in sales? She said the call was also escalated to her manager. She said she would help us to resolve the issue with the blinds by ordering a new one to be manufactured. She said that under COVID, work orders fell behind. Third attempt. James comes back out to finish with the swap out for the 2 inoperable blinds and the remote. He completes half of the repair with 1 of the 2 blinds to be functional. The 2nd blind according to him, just never worked properly. He said they will manufacture a new one and ship it back out. I asked him about the walls and he said, he can paint it but he has another job to go to. This is not his area but if I provide the color name, he will ensure the painters get it and will come prepared. I sent the color name and paint ID to James as requested. Forth attempt. James text messages me to say he will come back out to swap out the last blind. If this was nearing the end of the blind repair, I would also like my wall repaired as well. I asked him about the repair of the paint but he didn't respond. Today, he just showed up without any confirmation. From the Ring camera, I can see that he had in his possession the new blind and a short ladder. He didn't have any paint. He said he wasn't there to repair the wall or touch up. So told him to reschedule when the painters will be ready. Today, I also called 3 day blinds to find out no one ever opened a ticket for the paint repair. After 3 visits and multiple phone calls and escallations no one opened up the ticket to repair the walls. I was on the phone for 1:20 minutes to wait to talk to a manager. Now I am awaiting a callback which I may not even receive. As it turns out, the installers were all 3rd party and not an employee of 3 day binds. Where's the accountability in service and craftsmanship? It's not 3 days, not 3 months... it's now 4 months and we still have paint issues and blinds that do not work. read more

Purchased woven woods for two windows. Dealing with the salesman was a very positive experience and that is where it ends. One of the woven woods (top down bottom up) is warped and uneven. They removed them and brought the same ones back no change still warped. Called again they came out and took them and said they were remaking them and they came back only slightly better but still uneven. The other set that are only bottom up seem to be even but I've noticed over time some of the wood has come loose and is sticking out a bit in a couple of places. read more

I wish I could say something good about this experience, but it's been a nightmare. Had my measurement done for a triple slider at the end of January. At that time I was told it'll be 2 weeks until I get my blinds. They were due in on February 15. It's now March 10, and I still don't have them. According to this Laurie, my original was lost, so she sent in the order again to be expedited. They were due in today (March 10), and now this order is lost again. Anytime I call, customer service is always confused because "there's multiple tracking numbers." And to quote Laurie "I'm not sure how they can get lost between souther California and Las Vegas." So I will rewrite a second review since nothing has changed other than finger pointing. No call from a representative and case worker. I ordered motorized blinds and had to wait a month for them to be installed. The process while waiting was horrible. I couldn't get a straight answer to where half my order was. No one new a thing. They kept me on hold to getting disconnected for no reason. No one new a dam thing. I couldn't get a hold of my installer. It was obvious he made the sale so he was done with me. Finally installed, took all day because of not lining up right. No sooner then they left I used the remote to make the blinds go down, and one was destroyed with a huge slice running down the side. The second one skips as it rolls down. Finally couple days later the seller came to examine and states it was the installer. The installer came a week later and he pointed the finger at the installer. I was assigned a case worker, Chris who is yet to call me. Who promised to deal with me and nope nothing. I am so disappointed in this company. There is so much more I can say but it's just too long to write. Bottom line, it's two weeks and I don't even know if my new blinds have been reordered. I'm pretty sure they were not. I would not recommend this company. There service is horrible right down to their so called case worker. What an unorganized company. I can't imagine working there. Let's start with the fact that they sent out two gentlemen mid-May to measure my windows, and they were supposed to go back and have someone send me the quote. That never happened, so about 2 weeks ago I called and spoke to a lady named Lynn. She said she couldn't find any record of anyone ever coming out, and asked if maybe I called another company. Thing is, that's not possible since I called them from the original packet of info for the initial install they did many years ago in my home. After trying to find the missing measurements, I offered to simply do the measurements myself again, and told Lynn I would email them over, and I was ready to buy. All I needed was a way to pay so we could get the order going. Lynn told me she would email me the invoice so I could put down the payment and get things started jsut as soon as she received the measurements. This was 6 days ago from the time I'm writing this review. I never got any word back, no email, nothing. Keep in mind, I'm giving them business, no questions asked. No sales pitch, ready to spend my thousands of dollars right now. I gave it over the weekend, but still, nothing. On Monday morning I called and got their answering service, and left a message for Lynn to call me back. Nothing by 2pm, so I called again, and once again got the answering service. Left another message. Nothing. Tuesday, same thing. Called three times, and emailed Lynn again asking why I have not heard back. Still, nothing all day Tuesday. Today I called at 10am. and finally reached someone at their office. I asked for Lynn and was told she was on the phone. As I was holding for her, I got an email from Lynn which stated: Good morning Sir, I just wanted to get back with you to let you know that I'll be back on Friday to the office so we can get this ordered for you. Thank You, Lynn Well that's strange since I'm literally on the phone with someone else at their office RIGHT NOW who just got done telling me Lynn was there and on the phone, and I was HOLDING FOR HER. When I confronted the person on the phone with this, she said "Oh yeah, Lynn is dealing with a lot of appointments, so that's what we're telling people." Say WHAT now? I wanted to use Best Buy Shutters so the shutters would match what I have that they already installed, but no way now. This is NOT how you do business, and I wouldn't recommend anyone use them. I'm glad there were people happy with their experince and glad they didn't deal with what I had to. UPDATE: Got an email from Lynn shortly after writing this review stating she had just stopped by and someone saw her, so assumed she was there. Fine, even if that is true, nobody else can start my order? To me it just appears they don't want my business. So be it, there are other shutter companies I'm sure will. read more

I dislike giving a low rating but the reason why we decided to go with them because my parents did. I reached out to the consultant and had an appointment set pretty immediate. My biggest upset is that a contract date was committed although I know with the pandemic there could be some delays. I was very understanding with that and continued to move forward. In the meantime, no one ever called us to let us know the status of the delivery and install as the install date was getting closer. Good customer service would be to reach out to your customers to keep them in the loop. I had to call them multiple times and also I had to contact the installers to determine if they'd receive our orders. Customer service is very important to me as we are spending thousands of dollars. I believe the service should have come from 3 Day Blinds as a courtesy to their paying customers. Long story short we placed our order December 7 and our 1st install wasn't until January 26 (promised date was 1/5) and our 2nd order wasn't installed until today, 2/18 (promised date of 12/29) I should have done more research on other businesses before deciding to go with them. Absolutely disappointing experience with this company. Our initial consultation was confirmed the night before and then no one showed up. I called the company and somehow had been deleted from the consultants schedule for that day. After spending what I consider WAY too much for blinds, we were then informed by email a couple of WEEKS later that our delivery was being pushed back three MORE weeks! They didn't even have the decency to make that phone call. Then after sending a confirmation text to set up our install (again, very impersonal) they deducted the remaining balance for the blinds from our account. This is apparently in the fine print of the contract, but I am NOT big on paying for a service and a product that has yet to be delivered and installed to my satisfaction. After receiving a notification that my account had been overdrawn and realizing they took out the remaining balance for the blinds, I called the company and they assured me that this procedure is written in the contract. The man who answered my call said this has been a problem for other customers. I told him that made me even more furious! I understand it's in the contract, but how hard would it be to add "the remaining balance will be charged as soon as you confirm your appointment for install" to their very impersonal text message?! I doubt it is very hard! I will never do business with this company again. I am tempted to have them return my money and take my business elsewhere. I called to make an appointment to purchase some powered-blinds and have them installed as well. I was told they only do appointments to measure between 9am-3pm Mon-Fri.... So for the normal person who works Mon-Fri 8-4 or 9-5, 3-Day Blinds is not available to you!!!! SMH! How can you run a business that way?!?!? I said I will have to call somebody else who actually works with their customers and was told "Good Luck" I am glad I am not the Owner/Financial Controller/or an Employee for this company as I would be so embarrassed for having such a bad business model! They give me a nee case number each time (1264432). They did not install what I paid for. These are light diffusing blinds and I ordered light blocking. They blinds do not work for this space or me. They refuse to give me what I paid for or refund my money. The blinds They replaced were better than these. I would give a 0 if possible. They came to our house, but our house is large so blinds were obviously not delivered in 3 days. They came through with the manager who I thought was great. She sold us on the "top-down" blinds and how our kids would "never lose their privacy." I thought we were overpaying, but it would be worth it for what they were selling. They did not give us "top-down" blinds. I asked the installer about it - he said that is not his field. We called, they said they would get back to us. That was almost 2 months ago. We are here after spending 21k on blinds with 3 rooms that are not what we asked for and another room with crooked blinds. Do not use. I ordered shutters for my new home in LV, NV. Shutters come from Norman Shutters which are not USA. They are made in China and you have to wait a super long time for them to be shipped. And yes, I mean on an actual ship! My sales girl also did not know what she was doing. She did not know her products and did not have samples and sold me something that looked terrible once installed. LV was also having trouble with their installation people. The first person that came out measured everything wrong, so they had to be replaced. The new installer did a better job and Norman did correct things eventually, but the installer did not fill the holes in the walls or fix the paint in my brand new house. Someone told me that the property brothers had used them so I thought they must be really high quality. NOT. I had them installed a few months ago and already 4 blinds broke off and now I need them replaced. They feel pretty cheap for what I paid $1400 for my master and downstairs living room.
