Comfort food in a Diner setting. No frills and nothing fancy. This establishment has been a staple for travelers for a long time. Whether you're traveling into Maryland, or heading back to Delaware, it's a good pit stop for gas and food. They offer a good variety on their menu. Portions were large, especially the 301 Burger, about the size of a dinner plate! Prices were very reasonable in comparison to other diners. Staff was friendly, and didn't take long for the order to be served. Weekend brunch hours can be busy, as well as dinner hours. Overall, comfort food at a reasonable price.

So me and my wife went this place last night for dinner. I wanted some good stick to your ribs kinda food. We both got the fried chicken platter with Mac and cheese I got mashed potatoes Krista got green beans and let me tell ya this food was on point. The fried chicken is done fresh at time of order and it was perfect fried and the meat was so juicy. The meal was outstanding. This is our new go to place. It's at a truck stop but let me tell the food is amazing. Go try it out and the staff was so friendly and they were playing country music and had Fox News on all the boxes checked.

Chicken fried steak, home fries loaded breakfast.

Chicken fried steak is my favorite breakfast order. It's pretty well done though the gravy is a bit "stick to your ribs". I went in a different time for lunch and it was freezing inside. This coming from an AC lover. It makes your food get cold too fast.

We were happy to find this diner in our travels last weekend and the food didn't disappoint. Ever the breakfast lover, I had a Western omelet, home fries and a biscuit, while my old man had a burger and fries. It was all quite good for diner grub - we had no complaints about the food or the service. We will be dining here again in the near future for sure!

On the way back from a family reunion, my dad and I stopped here to gas up and get a bite to eat. My dad has eaten here before and said it was a good place to stop before heading home. We got the gas, then pulled into the parking lot to go inside. We sat at the counter and the waitress immediately served us. As I'd had a big breakfast, I wasn't that hungry, so I had a dish of ice cream (I know, not a healthy lunch!), of strawberry and chocolate, and a glass of water, and dad had a piece of cherry pie and a cup of coffee. Dad liked the pie and since the ice cream was hand-dipped, it was awesome! There were honest-to-goodness real strawberries in the strawberry scoop and the chocolate scoop tasted like chocolate. :) Yum! There are stores connected to this gas station, but I didn't have a chance to go in and look at them, from what I could see at the counter though, it looks like they might cater to tourists, which, for a gas 'n go, I would expect. The waitresses were attentive to us and checked in on us frequently. The restaurant was clean, and very busy, so they do a good job considering how much turnover they had while we were there. I'll be back the next time I have to travel through Delaware!

What an adorable and tasty little diner!…read more When we arrived the place was packed and we followed the signage instructions to "seat ourselves". Very shortly we were greeted, handed menus and our coffee order was taken, impressive efficiency with a full house! I've have a recent hankering for scrapple and I'm glad this is where I got it- super crispy exterior with a meaty punch of flavor inside, probably the best scrapple I've ever had. I chose the eggs Chesapeake, which is eggs Benedict on a bed of lump crab- you can't go wrong, it's delicious! Husband got the Jo Jo's breakfast burger (without the bun) and the patty was HUGE - a very filling and flavorful choice. Pro Tip: the menu says home fries but it's like a cross between mashed potatoes and diced potatoes - order them extra crispy and you'll be happy you did.

Great covers of Bob Marley, Frankie Beverly and many others. Our servers were right on time, drinks and food came out quickly. I enjoyed the Mango Margarita (it had a lil spice to it which I loved) and my wife had a really good expresso martini. The New Orleans Seafood was delish. It did not have Cajun heat but it had great flavor. Then they topped it off with a birthday tiramisu with a candle. Excellent night, thanks for everything!

I'm glad, because with it being slightly off the 'main drag' in Middletown, we might not have seen it otherwise. We arrived towards the end of the dinner rush hour, and fortunately were seated over by where a musician was playing. It was a busy night, and we were tired and hungry from a day at the faire. As it was busy, there were sportsball games going and the musician playing, shouting was required for discussion and we had some funny misunderstandings YOUR GRAPE IS ON THE MOON? WHAT? Oh, your gravy is a little cool! :) The musician was great, playing lots of 70s and 80s hits, and he seemed to enjoy us singing along and dancing. We are, after all, rennies. We're glad he was enjoying us as much as we were enjoying his music. We got drinks and menus quickly, and our server was attentive without being pushy. After a few minutes looking over the menu, she appeared and we ordered. I got the Stampede Burger, while one of my friends got the Prime Dip sandwich (AKA French Dip), and one got chicken fingers. All came in reasonable time and were quite good, hearty food. So, why the one star off? Dessert. Could we have a brownie sundae? Out of brownies. OK, how about chocolate cake? Out of that, too. Uh...red velvet? Out. Basically everything chocolate. Sigh. Yeah, it was busy but not insane. We ended up not getting dessert, and it was disappointing. Whoever's managing food orders and prep, please do better. Also, if it's not available, it would have been great for the server to say so up front, that way she didn't have to tell us no 3 times. Parking in a private lot, plentiful. We would go again, we just will plan on dessert elsewhere.
