Everything good that was mentioned was truth! I ordered the Old School burger. Always like to test a new place on the basics. Oh, my! WIN! The house-made 1000 island sauce (subbed instead of mustard), the flavor of the burger patty, freekin sweet pickles on a burger, and a bun that actually holds up until the last bite. I devoured that baby and savored every danged bite! BONUS note: I was dining solo which can often mean meh service. Alyanna didn't miss a beat. From the minute I walked in, I felt like her only mission was to make sure my dinner and experience were top tier (not that she snubbed her other guests, but she really made me feel welcome). Another note: I've made sweet pickles (often called bread-and-butter pickles) since childhood, and I know good ones. These had the perfect tang-to-sweet ratio and were snappy and crisp. SOOOO much better than dill pickles on a burger. Good call, 319! FEEDBACK? My only suggestion to elevate the burger to the stratosphere would be iceberg lettuce, the really crispy parts, instead of green leaf. Broderick is a casual restaurant and is supposedly named after a man who died in a duel back in the old west. He apparently misfired his gun and was subsequently defenseless as his enemy delivered the death blow. We ordered wings, cauliflower, fried pickles and a variety of entrees. Stop by 319 Broderick. And mannnn I must say that this was a hidden gem. Parking lot located right outside the facility so very easy to park. Beautiful artwork on the walls on the outside. As soon as we entered we were greeted and seated quickly. Water within 2 mins of sitting down as well. Viewed the menu even though we knew what we wanted. Ordered an old fashioned and a cider on the side as well. The burger, juicy, flavorful and good bun too. The fries, I do wish were a bit more crispier. Will be back and will be trying dessert this time around as well. Good place for family of all ages and friends too. Our server Alyanna was great. When we walked in there was plenty of seating. I liked the 5% discount if you pay cash. It's not much but it still helps. I ordered the Gold Rush burger and it was yummy. Enjoyed the bacon Mac and cheese in the burger. I made my fries banh mi fries. It was worth the extra $7. The ranch dressing was really savory with the added dill. I took an extra dressing to go. Our server was friendly and chill. The only thing I'd say was he didn't ask us to refill our waters. He mentioned shots and dessert but we declined. We had shopped at IKEA and worked up an appetite. Looked for a restaurant nearby that was open late. Pulling in there were several cars and neat artwork on the building. We waited at the front to be seated by Alejandra who was waiting on a large party. We were seated timely with a smile. The menu was typical bar fare but touted their buttermilk fried chicken, beer battered fish, and home made corned beef. Also highlighted their homemade dressings. We opted for the chicken strips with garlic fries and the corned beef sandwich with salad. Everything was brought out timely with good temperature. The chicken appeared dark and overdone but upon trying it, it was double fried and delicious, the meat was extra moist we opted for ranch and bbq sauce. The garlic fries had an aioli with large pieces of garlic, they were amazing. The Ruben corned beef was served on a hamburger bun with large chunks of meat, house made thousand island, sauerkraut. The blue cheese dressing too accompany the salad was very well done. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, service, and our experience, we will return. We found this place after being at IKEA in West Sac. We arrived around 8pm. This is definitely a hole in the wall hidden gem. There was a large group at a table that the server was assisting. We waited at the door for a few minutes and then were told to sit anywhere that wasn't reserved. The menu is good sized for a small place. We started with the fried zucchini appetizer. The dish came out fresh and hot. We chose the Rueben sandwich w/side salad and the Chicken tenders w/garlic fries. The chicken was amazing! The batter is homemade along with the ranch dressing. The batter was crunchy and flavorful and the chicken was tender and juicy. The Rueben had home cooked corned beef, homemade thousand island dressing and sauerkraut. It was served on a bun. I wish it was rye bread.... But it was still wonderful. The garlic fries were tossed with a garlic aioli and were so good! Overall we were very pleasantly surprised with this find. Side note-in December 2025, a car careened into the bar/restaurant while involved in a car chase with police! There are signs of the repairs. Luckily no one was there as it was in 1:30 am. How scary! Great food, great customer service, same old Broderick's Roadhouse "feel" and menu. Reasonable prices, not exorbitant. Dinner for two: two Cobb salads with Diet Coke + tip about $25 per person, standard meal rate at other places, maybe even less expensive. Great salad: excellent and fresh Romain and red leaf lettuce no iceberg lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, HB eggs, chicken bacon, cucumber, blue cheese crumble. We swapped out grilled chicken and had fried (like chicken tenders), so good. Generous portions, great food. Funky divey bar with seating at bar, at pub tables or in dining room. Amazingly he held down the front single handily taking care of not only our group, but other hungry diners. Two stars for that! Came here for a birthday dinner before the A's game. We had 8 people in our group and our waitress provided great service. We had a variety of really good food including the cheeseburger, fish tacos, chicken strips, and onion rings. We also had the house margaritas, beer and sodas. Been coming to 319 Broderick since I was around 16 or 18 and here I am decades later still coming back. That alone says everything. This place has been through different ownership over the years, but right now it feels really dialed in. The mother and daughter running it bring such a great energy. It feels genuine, welcoming, and easy. Still has that local dive feel but with a level of care and pride that gives it real character. Food is always on point. The lamb burger is a must, packed with flavor and consistently done right. My wife always goes with the Impossible burger and it never disappoints either. We came here for lunch. We met Gordon who is the general manager. He was very helpful and gave wonderful suggestions. Our waitress was great too. I believe her name was Alehandra. Reviews were kinda iffy..I'm not sure what people were thinking though. This place was amazing. It has awesome art on the outside and the inside gives tavern vibes. The waiters and waitresses were great not only did they serve the food but bartend as well. Wait was not long at all despite it getting busy once we arrived. Absolutely love this place! The food amazing and so are the drinks. It's a totally casual spot to have a hella good burger and a beer. The staff is friendly and attentive. Alejandra was our waitress this last visit and she was on top of her game. Super efficient and fun. Lotsa smiles and very personable. Grab your own dirty menus at the front with pages breaking off, find your own seats, and look forward to waiting for a server. Then the server arrives and was suuuuper poor. Seemed to be in a bad mood and the place was hardly filled. Constantly setting us up to ask for more. 4 of us seated down, only brings 2 forks. 4 of is, 2 waters, and never offers straws. Just weird. We hadn't been to 319Broderick's for a while and were really looking forward to one of their famous burgers. We entered the restaurant about 5:45 on Saturday evening of Memorial Day weekend. The sign at the door said to seat yourself. It was already busy and they were extremely short-staffed - only the bartender and one server. The bartender told us it would be a while before we could get a table. We prefer to sit in the bar area and he said all the current tables were new so we probably could not get a table. We decided to sit at the bar to have a drink and wait. Then 2 bar tables opened. The bartender said it would be a 'few minutes' before they could be bussed. He never took our drink orders but continued to serve other customers. More customers were coming in so I sat at one of the unbussed tables to save it. The bartender came to me and said, 'I told you it would be a while before we can clean the table.' I said, 'That's OK, I just want to save it. We'll wait.' After about 10 minutes, I went back to my friends at the bar who still had not been served and asked if they wanted to go someplace else. The bartender overheard me and said, 'You should definitely go someplace else.' I asked him if he was upset with me for sitting at the table to save it. He would not answer. We did go someplace else. We ran up a nearly $200 tab and tipped $60 to the server. That money could have been spent at 319 Broderick except for a clueless and rude bartender. Needless to say, we will not be going back to 319 Broderick. read more
