    Barrios tacos

Good food, great atmosphere. The barrios tacos were very good. Lots of Screens with football playing. Great for watching sports. Solid Mexican food.

I met my friend for lunch and today I decided on the chile verde lunch special. I got it with no beans and they give you extra rice. You can choose corn or flour tortillas. The service was good as we sat down and took our order. It got kind of loud in the restaurant once the whole place was filled.

Really good. Had my daughter and cousin grab food late tonight to bring home to families house here in west sac. Ordered a lot and everything was delicious and well priced. Portions are huge. They said parking was good.

I always pass this place and wanted to give it a try. The staff were all very nice. We came on a Sunday afternoon and got seated right away. The food was amazing and they give big portions. The inside had bar seating and tables. I saw outdoor seating as well. We'll definitely be coming back.

Very pleasant service. Comfortable and clean dining area. Food was pretty good. I had the chile relleno lunch plate which comes with rice, beans and tortillas and it was quite plentiful. Chips and salsa were also good.

Offers indoor and outdoor seating . Pet friendly . Pricing is alittle above average but portions are large so worth it . Service was fat and friendly . Food was delicious. Have 4 stars due to ambiance not 100%. Looks like some storage is all around. Has a full bar as well.

We came here for happy hour after the Mexico win in the World Cup. The tacos were delicious as well as fairly priced. If I lived in the area I would come here frequently.

We were able to reserve the patio for my son's last minute birthday dinner and Altos Cantina always comes through with amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. Love this place! Everyone is so sweet here!

Cozy atmosphere with TV for sports. Wasn't expecting a spot like this in West sac but it's a pretty good vibe. Chips and salsa: A- Good kick to the green salsa, the red one has a pretty good flavor. The chips are super crisp and light. It was complimentary and I was pleasantly surprised. Pastor Street taco: B The al pastor wasn't super traditional but it definitely tasted pretty solid. The bit of pineapple adds a nice touch of sweetness. Enchiladas: C Wasn't too impressed. The cheese reminds me of store bought preshredded Mexican cheese blend and the sauce and beans lacked any strong flavor. The chicken was grilled well though. Overall, I think their meats are actually cooked pretty well so maybe stick to tacos and you'll be happy.

Hadn't been here in a while but things have changed for the worse. The red and green salsa were way too salty and the green salsa was way too sour. I order the chicken enchiladas and the verde sauce was also wayyy salty and too sour compared to before. The guacamole was also too salty and sour. Service was good as usual though.

This place is really good, I love their crunchy tacos, and they're little tequila wall that they have with a cute yellow couch. It's a cool place to watch some sports games if you'd like as well . waitresses were super nice.

Carne Asada & Pork Belly Tacos both were tasty but the Pork Belly with the slaw Tacos were truly delectable. The salad they put out was fresh and crisp. I spent 10 years in restaurant and another 9 in hospitality and the service at Birdies went beyond the mark of service. The one person that brought the vibe, the energy, the smile and made you feel like family...Loren. I kept telling him, I was inspired by him. Loren brought my 50th Celebration to the next level and truly made my friends, family and I feel very special and honored to be celebrating at Birdies. It is because of this experience, I will keep coming back. The bartenders were above and beyond as well. Big Mahalos to the sales team who assisted my wife and made everything easy for her. Ambiance: Clean and modern aesthetics. Half restaurant and bar. Half Golf simulator and outdoor patio. Golf simulator was awesome, my first time ever. Easy to operate, lots of fun games and the analytics were very informative of how bad of golfer I really am. Stop in for a drink, stop in for golf but stop in. Don't pass on this v

One tip: make a reservation in advance. We were able to skip the long line, which made getting in quick and easy. My party of four was seated on the patio, but honestly, there's really no bad seat in the house. Tom's has TVs everywhere, so you'll have a great view of the game no matter where you're sitting. For food, we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, fries, fried pickles, and I grabbed a beer. Everything was tasty, but the standouts were definitely the fries and fried pickles. The fries came out piping hot, crispy, and fresh, making them surprisingly one of my favorite items of the meal. I will say the prices are on the higher side, but for a big sporting event, I think it's well worth it. The atmosphere was amazing, the crowd made the experience even more fun, and the service was exceptional. Even though the restaurant was absolutely packed, our food came out quickly, and our server checked on us frequently throughout the game. Overall, I'd highly recommend Tom's for your next watch party. Between the atmosphere, plenty of TVs, solid food, and attentive service, it's a great place to catch a big game.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Tom's Bar was extremely disappointing…read more We made reservations well in advance, paid ahead of time, and even arrived more than an hour early. We were third in line for the reservation queue, so we expected that arriving early would help us get decent seating. Instead, we were assigned seats on the open patio directly in the blazing sun. The patio umbrellas weren't working, making the seating area unbearably hot on a warm afternoon. We politely asked if we could be moved to another table, but the staff was unwilling to accommodate us. When general admission opened, we even offered to give up our reserved seats and move into the general admission section instead. Despite there being an opportunity to make that happen, our request was again denied. After only 15-20 minutes, we had no choice but to leave because the conditions were simply unbearable. Paying in advance, arriving early, and still receiving the worst seats--with no willingness to help find a reasonable solution--made for a very frustrating experience. Customer service is about solving problems when they arise. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here, and it left us with a very poor impression of Tom's Bar. We missed a good part of the World Cup Finals which was the main purpose of going there. Costed us in fee and parking and lots of unnecessary anxiety!

I picked this restaurant in particular as it's usually pretty cool inside. We did sit under the fan that was on. Not all of their fans were on which I thought was odd as how warm it was inside. The other downer was there was a fly that kept hovering over us, landing on us and our food. We had the fish and chips. It was good, but it was a little heavy for a hot day. I did like the Caesar Salad, but it was a little overdressed. I did like the flavor when it was dipped in the tarter Sauce. The fish was nicely breaded and flakey. Parking was easy. They have a private lot. I arrived at 5:30pm and beat the rush. When we left at 7:30pm the place was packed. There was a party of guys around 10 people. And most of the other tables were taken as we cleared out. Ordering. It's different. If I remember correctly they used to take your order at your table. This was before the pandemic. Now you order up front from the bar tender/cashier. He really had his work cut out for him. Service was ok. A nice guy asked us if we needed anything and we said vinegar, a 2nd fork, and more tartar sauce. We had to flag him down again to remind him and we still didn't get our vinegar. Or they just don't offer vinegar. They have new menus, but the new menus don't have all their offerings. Which I thought was really odd as they are really limiting people with their new menus. It was fun hanging out with my friend for her birthday, but it's been better. Though we will probably be back, but probably pick a day that isn't so hot out.
