Really good. Had my daughter and cousin grab food late tonight to bring home to families house here in west sac. Ordered a lot and everything was delicious and well priced. Portions are huge. They said parking was good.

I always pass this place and wanted to give it a try. The staff were all very nice. We came on a Sunday afternoon and got seated right away. The food was amazing and they give big portions. The inside had bar seating and tables. I saw outdoor seating as well. We'll definitely be coming back.

Offers indoor and outdoor seating . Pet friendly . Pricing is alittle above average but portions are large so worth it . Service was fat and friendly . Food was delicious. Have 4 stars due to ambiance not 100%. Looks like some storage is all around. Has a full bar as well.

Very pleasant service. Comfortable and clean dining area. Food was pretty good. I had the chile relleno lunch plate which comes with rice, beans and tortillas and it was quite plentiful. Chips and salsa were also good.

We came here for happy hour after the Mexico win in the World Cup. The tacos were delicious as well as fairly priced. If I lived in the area I would come here frequently.

We were able to reserve the patio for my son's last minute birthday dinner and Altos Cantina always comes through with amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. Love this place! Everyone is so sweet here!

Cozy atmosphere with TV for sports. Wasn't expecting a spot like this in West sac but it's a pretty good vibe. Chips and salsa: A- Good kick to the green salsa, the red one has a pretty good flavor. The chips are super crisp and light. It was complimentary and I was pleasantly surprised. Pastor Street taco: B The al pastor wasn't super traditional but it definitely tasted pretty solid. The bit of pineapple adds a nice touch of sweetness. Enchiladas: C Wasn't too impressed. The cheese reminds me of store bought preshredded Mexican cheese blend and the sauce and beans lacked any strong flavor. The chicken was grilled well though. Overall, I think their meats are actually cooked pretty well so maybe stick to tacos and you'll be happy.

Hadn't been here in a while but things have changed for the worse. The red and green salsa were way too salty and the green salsa was way too sour. I order the chicken enchiladas and the verde sauce was also wayyy salty and too sour compared to before. The guacamole was also too salty and sour. Service was good as usual though.

This place is really good, I love their crunchy tacos, and they're little tequila wall that they have with a cute yellow couch. It's a cool place to watch some sports games if you'd like as well . waitresses were super nice.

Here we are with our "regular " server, Sida. She is such a hoot and we always enjoy our meal and our time every time we go.

3.5 stars. Pretty loud inside with fun party vibes. There's a nice patio too. I got 3 street tacos- chile verde, carnitas, and pastor (unexpectedly spicy!). My favorite of the 3 was the carnitas. Cost was 9.50 which seemed reasonable. The dinner plates with rice and beans were $18. I recommend making a reservation for groups, as it was pretty hopping on a Thursday night.

Carne Asada & Pork Belly Tacos both were tasty but the Pork Belly with the slaw Tacos were truly delectable. The salad they put out was fresh and crisp. I really wanted the burger but since we catered I am going to have to go back to try it out! Service: Above and Beyond. I spent 10 years in restaurant and another 9 in hospitality and the service at Birdies went beyond the mark of service. The one person that brought the vibe, the energy, the smile and made you feel like family...Loren. I kept telling him, I was inspired by him. Loren brought my 50th Celebration to the next level and truly made my friends, family and I feel very special and honored to be celebrating at Birdies. It is because of this experience, I will keep coming back. The bartenders were above and beyond as well. Big Mahalos to the sales team who assisted my wife and made everything easy for her. Ambiance: Clean and modern aesthetics. Half restaurant and bar. Half Golf simulator and outdoor patio. Golf simulator was awesome, my first time ever. Easy to operate, lots of fun games and the analytics were very informative of how bad of golfer I really am. Stop in for a drink, stop in for golf but stop in. Don't pass on this v

It was the world cup and two different games were on so they asked which one we wanted to see so they position us to have the best viewing experience. Moved around tables for us! Food for "a watch bar" was surprisingly very good. Chicken tenders were the star of the show. Pickle brined tenders with great sauce on top. We had hot buffalo. I was shocked that there still so many seats available. I thought due to there was a game prior that the place would be packed and we would be lucky to get a seat. They had 2 lines to get in, the VIP line and the regular line. The line was super slow even with 3 hostesses. They were seating everyone so that is what took so much time. When we got to the front of the line they asked up if we had reservations. I had no idea that this was a reservation type of place. Next they informed us that there was a $20 cover fee. I think that is per group not per person, but I'm not really sure. For $20 we were ready to turn around and go home or to another place that didn't charge. We were totally shocked that there was an entrance fee. We had no idea that they would do something like that. We've been here once before for a Sunday NFL game and there was no cover charge. Thankfully the guy in front of us asked if it was free to sit at the outside bar and they said yes. So, after we were informed of the $20 fee we took the lead from the guy in-front of us and headed for the outdoor bar. For free you'd think the place would be packed. Thankfully it was virtually empty. We had almost any seat to choose from. We grabbed the third table, which had the best view of one of the many TVs. We're so thankful that we arrived early. As time went on the place did fill up and soon it was standing room only and people were actually standing and watching the game. We gave up our third chair to a larger party that wanted to sit together, their group did block the walkway, but no one said anything, they just went around the other side of the bar or squeezed though which was difficult. We ate dinner before we arrived to save money. Though once you see the menu you have to order something as everything looked so good. I really wanted to get the cheesecake as it was the only dessert they had. If they had a hot fudge Sunday, I would have totally got that. Instead I let my husband pick as everything looked so good and it was hard to decide. He ordered something that I wasn't eyeing, but I trusted him in his decision. He ordered the CRISPY CHICKEN & CORNBREAD PANCAKE Sweet cornbread pancakes, pickle-brined and hand-battered premium crispy chicken tenders, honey butter, maple syrup. The sweet cornbread was amazing. I love the edges, it was so buttery. The centers were also good with the honey butter, but not as good as the edges. The crispy chicken was really crispy to perfection. And it came out so hot, I almost burned my mouth it was so hot. We really didn't use the maple syrup. We dipped the chicken it it once, so as we tried it didn't really enhance the dish. Next time I'm going to just eat dinner at Tom's Watch Bar as everything looked so good. Also I've read other reviews and people have really liked the food. I though they had some sliders, but I didn't see them on the menu. They did have a Prime Rib Dip, but that isn't a slider. Sitting outside in the bar was great for the price. It did get a little chilly and I wished I had worn jeans and brought a sweater. Next time I'll check the weather for the evening and dress appropriately. I did have a jacket in the car so my husband went back to the car for me at half time and he also grabbed our emergency blanket to wrap around our legs. That really helped. They had plenty of pretty clean bathrooms. It didn't smell really refreshed, but it wasn't bad either. They had I believe 4 stalls so if there were a line it would move fast. I went right after half time in hopes there wasn't a line and there wasn't. It is a little hidden, but they are good at pointing you to it. I thought it was on the way to the kitchen and it might have been if you went right as the bathrooms are on the left. Parking at the Downtown Commons (DOCO) typically costs $6.00 per hour, with every additional 20 minutes priced at $2.00, up to a $32.00 daily maximum. During peak events at the Golden 1 Center, flat event rates often apply, and nearby garages offer varying hourly or daily rates. It cost us $18 to park. It seems like you can park at the old Macy's parking lot for $15. That's so much a better deal, but it also seems sketchy. Is it legit or are people just collecting money due to it's an empty lot. I think the price of parking is really expensive. I think we should have walked as it was daylight going there and it would be daylight going home. In addition it wasn't too hot. So back to the $20 entrance fee. Knowing this I am hesitant to return. I do see the advantage of arriving early so you can get a seat outside so that isn't bad. Arriving 30 minutes early isn't too early so it's reasonable.

As we looked thought the menu our friend remembered the bad experience he had last time with the Salmon Burger and went with the Hawaiian Impossible Burger this time. He though it was much better. My husband and I went with the BNB Cheeseburger: Topped with cheddar, hickory smoked bacon, homemade bbq sauce and an onion ring. My husband and I split it along with a side of onion rings and the three of us split a full Caesar Salad. For dessert we split the Nutella Cheesecake. The Onion rings were perfectly fried, nice and crispy. Some were tastier the others and the last couple of ones tasted better dipped in the ranch that came with the meal. The burger was very tasty and cooked to medium as requested. I really liked the BBQ sauce in the burger and didn't need the extra sauce they put on the side. The salad was plentiful and served 3 people perfectly. The Nutella cheesecake was good. I liked the crunchy bits mixed in with the Nutella, the Nutella was plentiful. The cheesecake was very fluffy. I would have preferred a denser cheesecake. As for burgers go, they have good burgers. I can't say they are the best burgers ever, but they are local and good burgers. When we got the burger we asked if we could get a sharp knife to cut it and they said the kitchen would happily cut it for us. That worked out great as no one smashed the burger as they were cutting it. I guess we could have asked for it to be cut initially. Next time we'll think of that ahead of time. Parking is ok, they have a private lot they share with the restaurant across the way and some of the spots are designed for the other restaurant so it comes tricky at times finding parking.
